Aisuko stirred with a soft groan. Her mouth was like cotton balls and she was sore, and stiff...and resting on something scratchy. Opening her eyes to dirt, the events of the past...well... She didn't know how long it was, exactly, since the events themselves had transpired. Her eyes flickered a little. She felt rested but not quite energetic. And she was hungry. But she didn't search out other things, aside from where she deposited Okara some time ago.
Was he awake and there?

His resting spot was empty. At the entrance, she could see him approaching inside, carrying some fruits and berries from the areas around. He was sweating, but bandaged, his pack containing what he needed. Despite his injuries, he hadn't slept as long as her- about ten hours. He'd been out for about an hour or two, trying to make sure he stayed on track for his sleep schedule. He would set the berries on his pack, sighing and wiping away the sweat. He grinned over at her.
"Have a good nap?"
It was around midnight, and the trees had gone still after their battle. He couldn't believe he had lost- fighting in theory and fighting literally were very different. He had tried to challenge her head on and that had been his mistake. He should have been smarter than that. He would not make such a mistake again.
He winced, putting a hand on his bandaged chest before sitting back.
"You are very strong."
He liked this.

"...mmm..." She blinked, a little curiously. It felt like she'd been hit by a spacebus...but she didn't really want to express that.
"...thank you. You are certainly surprisingly strong, yourself."
She glanced away, then back, and sat up, tail automatically slipping into her lap.
"You're alright, though, yes?"
She was more wondering if she would have to do some more in-depth healing, rather than the small amount she had done, before.

"Bah, I've been hurt worse than this."
Total, unadulterated lie.
"And I thank you for the compliment. Normally, my father would have begun my strict training many years ago but I've had to sort of...survive in that way on my own. Where did you learn that attack, where you shot my attack back at me? It's...devastating."
The severe ache in his chest was proof of that.

She seemed to accept the lie, but it was only when he mentioned the attack being devastating that her gaze became a little more critical. She observed him for a moment.
Then.
"My father." She paused. "Though, my brother and I mostly practiced with it."

He chuckled, then grunted in pain, taking a few deep breaths.
"I see. It is one to rival my fathers. If I had been a little weaker, and not pulling my Ki to my chest and hand, it might have killed me. You play for keeps."
He would reach forward and take a berry, popping it in his mouth and chewing.
"Your brother....is he as strong as you?"

Aisuko's eyes tracked as he brought the berry to his mouth, but stubbornly resolved to not ask. She could go gather things herself, probably.
Right?
Okay. No, maybe not. But she wasn't going to ask—her stomach growled, and she tried to mask it.
"Stronger."

He cocked an eyebrow. He wasn't going to offer this time- she had been very proud leading up to now. He had done a lot to put himself out there- or so he felt. He shared food, gave her the option to leave, showed her his hidden cave...she chose to attack him rather than ask him to stop, and talk. She was very proud indeed. But, as he heard the stomach growl through her attempt to mask it, he chewed his lip, deciding not to ask about her brother for now.
"Are all your people....like you?"
He rolled his eyes and gently pushed the bag toward her.
"Eat."

Well that brought her back up. She stared a moment and turned her gaze away, from the food and from him.
"What do you mean? Of course not every one is like me."
Her tail lifted to push them back, as gentle as he had been.
"No, thank you."
Aisuko pushed to her feet, tail moving to keep her balance so she didn't sway or move her hands out. She placidly walked towards the crawl space used as an entrance and exit and proceeded to do the latter.

He stood, walking over to take her elbow gently with a groan.
"Wait...I meant you are very....proud. I can tell you want to be kind, at times. Others I can't even tell what you are thinking. You just seem standoffish. Very proud. I didn't mean to...ugh...make you go. Please stay and eat, otherwise I'm going to throw half of this out, at least. I ate a ton while I picked..."
There were a few apples there too...

Her muscles tensed as he gripped her arm, her tail even reflecting the tension; though she didn't hit him with it. She simply slowly pulled her arm forwards as she spoke, neutral but entirely decisive.
"Let go, please." she paused to listen and took a couple moments to deliberate. "...fine."
She would slowly turn back, assuming that he had already let go and she wouldn't have to extract her arm abruptly. She slid down into a sitting position and slowly picked up what seemed to be a spaceapple and a few of the berries he had been eating earlier. For now she was silent, but her posture wasn't that of someone brooding.

He winced, sweat breaking out. As soon as she pulled, even just a little, it was taken out of his grasp. He let the arm drop back down to his side before moving back into the cave, coming over to sit back down and put a hand on his wounds.
'She's like a big block of ice. I have no idea how to melt it. Perhaps....giving her something I can assume to be more comfortable would be appropriate.'
He would sit in silence.

It seemed...like she would be left to blissful silence for the moment. That was pleasing to her; the lines of her shoulders softened a little as she relaxed in the quiet.
It would be a few minutes while she ate, but she turned her eyes back to him.
"I can help you feel better as repayment of the food."

He shook his head.
"I'm fine. Mother says Saiyan's grow more from these experiences. I'll heal on my own. Thank you though."
He would readjust the straps in the silence, listening to the rain as started outside.
'Great...guess we're stuck here.'

Hmmm. Her brow furrowed at that. She couldn't just leave, then. Her head quirked to the side at the sound...but she continued to eat.
"You should have more, then."
