"Soon."
He hadn't gotten the exact date from the Guardian yet. But time was moving along and he would be gone. He hadn't picked his destination for certain yet. But he had heard of a world that was home to two warrior races. Neither of which were at the peace summit. He thought that these unknown alien species could be a good start to his journey.
"Something worthy of coming home."
He didn't know how long it would take. He didn't know what it would take. But his honor demanded that he complete it before returning home. Even if it took three thousand years.

She fell silent at the deadline, vague but able to loom over them with a single word. From what she understood, Limax had never left Namek. Now he was about to leave, and though it was for his people, there was no way of knowing when he'd come back. She looked down, debating how to best approach the subject as he explained what he needed. More vague ideas, but that could be good or bad. What was worthy of coming home for? What if he though tit was, but someone else didn't, or the other way around?
Silence for another moment, and then the younger Namekian straightened and looked at him.
"If there was one thing you could do before leaving, what would it be?"

"There is nothing."
He said after a moment's consideration to her question. Thinking back over his time on Namek. There were things that he did not get to do that he would have liked to. But they were things that were now beyond him. Paths that were closed. And that was fine, he knew that the path he chose was not an easy one.
"I have no regrets."

"I'm glad." Her smile warmed as she nodded, happy to hear him say so. She didn't know if he'd want some reminder of home beyond his memories and his goal, though it seemed he didn't need one, or wasn't looking for one. She understood he wasn't overly sentimental, but at the same time, he was leaving his home.
"Is anyone going with you?" He had a goal, but he mentioned a pilgrimage. Not to mention that so much time out in space alone could make anyone lonely after a while.

"No."
Which was a mixed bag. It was his mission, and he couldn't expect anyone else to share the burden with him. But he'd be lying if he said he wasn't disappointed that all of those that he'd grown closest too opted to pursue other endeavors. It was selfish to expect otherwise, but all the same dwelling on it was enough to twist his heart.
"I have no one."

"Oh." Her words were faint at his response, and if Atlanit's antennae could have drooped along with her shoulders, then would have. She knew she hadn't grown up as he had, just as she knew he wasn't going on vacation or some great adventure. He had a mission, but who knew how long it would take until he found what he needed? And yet, she couldn't fault anyone else, either. They had their own lives, those caring for them and depending on them.
But she couldn't imagine not having anyone at all. There was always someone. Always.
"Well, if you want, I could go, too?" she offered, brushing some of her hair from her face and momentarily masking the slight flush to her cheeks. It was rude to just invite herself along, but Atlanti couldn't turn away the idea, either. She cleared her throat as her hand fell back to her side.
"If you want." She was repeating herself, wasn't she? Mentally kicking herself, she waited for his answer.

Her offer took him by surprise. Despite her age he had to admit he often saw her as a bit of a child. Likely because of her upbringing, she was a student of things that she should know to her core. He didn't expect her to know or understand everything. And he'd believed she'd stay on Namek or return home afterward. Her grand adventure done.
"You do know what it entails?"
He asked, unsure if she knew exactly what she was signing on for. But if she did then he'd not the heart to stop her.
"If you wish to go, then one of the spare quarters are yours."

Her hands clasped behind her back as she waited for his answer, nodding when Limax asked the question that cut to the heart of the matter. She knew it wasn't going to be easy; part of her believed he would find a way to decline so she wouldn't hold him back. Not to mention the wealth of things to learn on Namek still. She felt like she could be here for some time yet and not know everything that would satisfy her. Maybe she'd even have stayed here, visiting home to see her family and share her experiences.
Her family. A twinge clasped her heart at the thought. She was offering to go with someone she barely knew for who knew how long. Her family would grow and grow older. her mother might not even be there when she got back. The people she knew were already living their lives without, her friends waiting withing wasting away. She would be giving up the chance to spend more time with them.
But she had made the decision to come on Namek and learn - by herself - for herself, and she knew her family would not hold it against her to follow her intuition.
"I understand." Or maybe not. The way he phrased it made her wonder. "I know we'd be gone for as long as it takes. We won't know what we will run into. It's not a game or vacation. We might not even make it back." That was the part that made her wonder if she was making the right decision, even for a short time. What if her goodbyes were permanent?
But she wanted to. Atlanti nodded again, more confident this time as the strength returned to her voice, the warmth to her smile as it returned in full force to his consent.
"Thanks, Limax."
