Okara walked out his front door. His armor was on, the weight heavy. Aisu was probably in the spare room and he'd been quiet in flying out so there wouldn't be any creaking. Last night was....a mistake. Clearly. He locked the door and stuck the keys in his pocket before walking over to the barn. His brow furrowed, however, when he saw the door was already open. Stepping inside, his eyes looked upon the already started ship, and most of the food having been loaded. The walkway had been lowered, giving them an in to the ship.
"Tch. Mother."
He'd start inside, dropping his duffle next to hers and standing, his arms folded, eyes....half lidded. Angry. Resentful.
Agressive.

The blonde Saiyan had been at work for some time, already. As mothers were, she'd heard the crackle of wall, but hadn't investigated, instead favouring packing. And leaving enough food for her son, in the house. It'd last him...a few meals. But he'd been taught how to cook. Hunt. Live. She wasn't concerned about any of that. What she was concerned of...was something she would realize a while later, as the thud of a duffle and his footsteps and angry yet...tinged aura hit her.
Keerie blinked, her eyes narrowing slightly.
"Okara. I thought you were asleep." Best to play clueless.
At least, for the moment.
She wasn't pleased, as a protective mother, that he was here. She had a combat suit on, and Okara would be able to see a small collection of weapons in storage as she closed the door. But she knew, as a Saiyan mother, that he would be. Despite her mild distaste for the Icejin's potential with her son (so ingrained by her race), she thought maybe they'd distract one another for a while and she could make a clean start.
Nope. Not so lucky.

"Ruined your getaway, did I? Guess like mother like son. You ruined mine. I'm going too."
He wore his armor as well, and judging by the look on his face and the angry aura rolling off his body....the young Saiyan wasn't fucking around. He would bend and grab his duffle before opening the ships doors.
He wasn't asking her permission.

"Yes, I figured as much."
She could either bitch about it and throw her son off - and he'd be more pissed and still follow her - or let him come along and hope he was strong enough...
"You follow orders, though, Okara. That is non-negotiable."
It wasn't just her mom's voice...it was a tone that Okara would be exceedingly familiar with, through training.

"Yeah yeah."
As the ramp lowered he'd walk up it.....assuming his mother would move over to grab her duffle and food bag, he'd pull the lever inside the ship to raise the bridge while also pulling the emergency lockdown switch so it couldn't be opened from the outside. He was young and small- the food on board was more than enough. Once the door was closed, he'd promptly make for the bridge and start launch procedure, the red lights coming on outside the ship to signal she should clear the area. His eyes were on the console.
He'd ignore any sign from outside for him to stop.

She seemed satisfied with his answer, and moved to grab the last of the things...
Only to freeze as the hairs on her body stood up as she heard some very particular sounds from behind her. Sounds of the beast being started.
She turned on her heel. Keerie mentally kicked herself, even as her anger towards her foolish son spiked. Here he was, standing in the way of her getting to her husband. Her son, her dear, dear son...just made a very fatal mistake. Given their hard-headedness, she didn't try to signal him to stop. She simply lifted herself off the ground and fired a ball of ki straight at the engines with a wordless scream!
Oh. Shit.

Okara, as his ship was blasted could only have a moment of shock before the thing shuddered and fell, topping onto the ground and sending him smashing around inside it. As the ship hit the ground and became still, he’d come to his hands and knees. His toes curled in his boots.
“Okay. Enough.”
He’d stand and push the rubble off him, using one arm to throw it aside as purple smoke curled up around his body.
“Okara is too young. Okara can’t handle it. Do what I order you to do, Okara. Lay down and fucking take it, Okara.”
Energy and aura blasted up around his form- such as that he had never shown his mother before. His Power Level skyrocketed, breaking two thousand in a heartbeat, hundreds beyond what she’d ever seen before.
“You….I’m done following your orders. You’ve left me a weak shell of a Saiyan. I’ll rescue dad alone….even if I have to go through you first.”
He prepared himself to take on his mother fully.

If she had hackles, they'd be standing on end. And as surprised and appreciative as she was that her son's power had far surpassed where it had previously been, his words, his disrespect... Well, the boy's mother was seriously considering leaving him behind for this display, no matter how much his power had grown. Her own aura crackled, in response to her son's as her own anger, and she set her feet firmly upon the ground.
She might have said something in response, but honestly, she didn't think her hotheaded son would hear her.
And she, herself, wasn't in the mood to try.
She'd. Waited. Eighteen. Years. To go and get her husband. She would have taken her son along with her, but he had it in his head she would have said he was too young and couldn't handle it. While it was true her actions did confirm some of that, it was also an assurance to her, that if she didn't come back alive...some part of their line would continue on. So she waited, her eyes luminous and bright, her posture tense. Her son would thwart her attempt to go get her husband, and that...was something she wouldn't stand for.

"Stop acting like such a child, Okara."
A voice cut through the silence. Aisuko landed, her body dripping with some last beads of moisture. Cold. She'd gone and submerged herself in the nearest body of clean water and scrubbed her skin, but the pull of auras had driven her back faster than she had anticipated being. She braced herself. He'd gotten stronger...and she hadn't grown nearly as fast. But it was obviously a fight he was itching for.
"You're pissed at me and taking it out on your mom? Really?"

She just didn’t understand- Okaru may be lashing out out of anger but….he never really wanted his mother to go. He didn’t want her to….he didn’t want to risk losing the only parent he had for maybe getting his other parent back. Now he was pissed off- but his words weren’t about what she might say in the future. It was how he felt everyone saw him. Childish. Weak. Needing to be coddled or played with or toughened up.
Well. He got the message.
He kept his power up, but looked over at Aisu. His face was pained, for a moment, before he would walk over to the debris and grab his pack. He walked back out and spoke to her, his voice rather calm despite his anger.
“Right. Stop being angry. Stop being childish. Because why would anyone give the noble stick-up-her-ass a reason to lose her cool? Nobody has ever given you a reason to be angry- wait, I take that back. I think we both know how irrationally angry you can be, don’t we? How childish? How you can take your anger out on someone even if they don't deserve it, because you're afraid? Don't play those cards when you keep them in your own deck.”
He’d turn and lift himself into the air.
“You want me to stop being childish? Fine. Both of you can piss off. I don’t need either of you anymore.” Turning back, he glanced at the ship. “And you know what? I don’t need the traitor either. I’m outta here.”
He’d rocket off toward the palace of the Guardian….where he would now be staying. He put the thoughts of his family as far back into his mind as he could as his blood boiled with Saiyan rage. How dare they? How dare they pretend he was just some…little boy who was acting out of immaturity? Why was it, when he tried to leave his mother behind it was childish, but her leaving him without a word is somehow acceptable?
He was done. With this place, and with them.

Okara's mother watched as the jin made her appearance, and felt a surge of anger at it. Oh yes. Momma Keerie knew one of the reasons her son was pissed off was because something had happened between the two. She ground her teeth and held still, watching her son do as he would. Pick up his pack. He was obviously leaving. To what end?
She winced at his words about not needing her any more. It was true. He could be self-sufficient and not need her to survive.
But it was the words that came out of his mouth about Dahveid--it seemed like a bubble burst around her as her energy surged and - to the younger two - she seemed to disappear and resurge into being in front of her son, her hand landing upon his shoulder. If he ran into her, he'd find she was something of an immovable force. She paid no heed to the Icejin, but only had eyes for her son.
"Okara." Though there was an undertone of danger, there was something her son would never have heard from her before. Pleading. "Please."

It was hard to stand.
Their powers were...overwhelming.
She seemed to jerk back at his look, and twitch again and again and again at his words as they stung into her, but the movements were small. It was her expression, though, that crumpled as he tore shreds into her.
"I'm sor--"
Like a dam bursting, the blonde's power rocketed up and bowled the Jin over. Unceremoniously. She was flung backwards, rolling, and made her way to to ungainly feet after tumbling several times. Her tail whipped back, then curled in, close to her legs. She swallowed, dryly, and wrapped her arms around herself. She was several dozen yards away, unable to draw closer at the moment, be it by her own power level or the sheer weakness she was feeling.

Okara, stopped at turned as Aisu started to apologize, a little bit caught off guard. Okay, a lot a bit. His fists clenched and he would turn around, eyes down as his mother appeared in front of him. He wasn't surprised. His mother was one of the most powerful people in the universe too. That's truly how he viewed her. Stronger even, perhaps, than the guardian. The shoulder she held sagged, and he would just stare into his eyes.
"Mom...I...don't know what you want from me."
He would glance back at Aisu, having seen the look his mother gave her and understanding what she was feeling. He turned his gaze back on Kyrie and would lower his pack, holding it at his side as he waited for a moment.
"Just....do what you have to do."
His power dissipated, fizzled.....then vanished back down to around 500. He would shake his head, his anger still flooding his body. He wasn't able to control it. He couldn't go and comfort her, right? She'd just mock him and think him weak. That's what she'd done so far, every time. He would just raise his chin and stare at the blonde in front of him.
"But...I'm not afraid anymore."

He'd find his mother working her jaw back and forth. Internally, she felt the urge to lob off a ki blast at the Icejin but smothered it, instead looking down at Okara.
"I have always done what I have to, Okara, you know that." She cleared her throat, her focus now back onto her son. "Sometimes with the best of intentions, though the method may not have been."
She landed if he did, but kept her hand upon his shoulder. She considered just knocking him out and taking him with, now, but that wouldn't prove any point.
"I knew you would go to, and if I left you would follow. Because I certainly did not raise a weak son. I just wanted my son safe. You can say what you want about me, though, but never badmouth Dahveid again, Okara. I will not stand for it."
Her tail flicked, quivering at the tip in restraint.
"I never thought you afraid or incapable. When I said you follow orders, it's because we were not going somewhere fun, but somewhere where I could lose you, and survival depended on every single move we make or didn't make."
Her hand lifted, slowly, and hung it by her side after giving a reassuring squeeze.
Her eyes lifted, her own aura having only tapered off a little bit.
"Where we go is no place for a weak Icejin." She saw what happened when she cranked her power up. If she couldn't stand up to that, she couldn't be of any help on Vegeta, in a den of wolves to her kind. "This is where we part ways with her."
There was an obvious emphasis on we, and her. Clearly, she figured Okara would be coming with her, anyway.

The Jin frowned, stepping backwards at the glances. At the words.
She swallowed and tipped her chin up, stung, but unwilling to...appear weak and cowed. She straightened and relaxed her tail, heavy as it was, and looked at them. She wasn't about to beg to come. Clearly she wouldn't be of use. And he wasn't too happy with her. In fact, he seemed rather disgusted despite his pain.
