Okara's brow furrowed. He would listen, his anger quelling at her words. She was....right, of course. As always. He didn't say anything throughout, until she mentioned the icejin being weak. He felt a volatile protectiveness crash through him, fists clenching again, but he remained reserved. He cleared his throat and spoke softly to his mother, trying to appear….culled, as it were. She’d made her point but….she didn’t know Aisu enough to speak of her in such a way. Not in Okara’s book.
“She’s not weak. You…don’t know what happened. She clearly cares for me more than I thought. And I…care about her more than I thought too, mother.”
It was like…admitting the most disgusting thing you could to a parent. Perhaps she knew they’d had sex, but perhaps she thought they were just kids settling urges. Not to Okara. He would lift his chin again.
“If you got to know her you would change your mind. She’s stronger than she might seem to you now. She’s...even beaten me before.”
That was….crushing to admit to her. But he was speaking loud enough for Aisu to hear but not making it obvious that he was doing so.
"I would like her to come with us. If…if she’d be willing. And we could even use her ship."
Okara was playing the role of the child that had been taught a lesson with the words, the explanation that Kyrie had given. But he wasn't lying when he said he had feelings for Aisu.

They were young. Maybe they'd grow out of it. Keerie didn't vocalize that thought. It was stifling and restricting and she had faced it, herself, before. Maybe they wouldn't, and she wasn't sure how she felt about that. She kept quiet as he spoke, and she thought there was...something a bit off with his explanation.
"If you feel she would be an asset, I will agree."
Something in her tone said she wasn't going to be responsible if the Jin couldn't keep up.
"You can ask her, yourself."
She rolled her shoulders, her power level finally ebbing to its normal resting spot, just around the 800 marker. She wasn't speaking loudly enough for the girl to hear and apparently the two of them needed to have some sort of interaction to work their shit out. She, however, was done with this. She had stuff to get out of the ship. She turned and got to work.

Aisuko stood, still, her foot cocked as if to take another step back and turn away. Her jaw pressed together as Okara spoke. She stilled, flinching a little as he mentioned feeling. She stood quietly, watching. Waiting. She didn't know what his mother said, as she turned away.
Her stomach clenched uncomfortably. But she didn't walk away.

Okara would stand and let out a slow breath. Standing up to his mother was....scary as fuck. He'd turn back to Aisu and walk over to her, bringing up a hand and pointing a finger at her.
"I'm not letting what you did earlier go. We'll revisit it....but for now, we need your help."
He lowered his hand and pointed with his chin off behind her.
"Your ship....you know how to fly it, obviously. Come with us."
He was going out on a limb again, here. Not enough to appear weak, he didn't think. But enough that she might have reason to actually....make up for the humiliation she'd made him suffer earlier.

Aisuko managed to stand, steady, as he pointed his finger at her.
Her chin lifted just a little but she didn't lift it too high. Her jaw worked a little and she felt a surge of resistance. She didn't want this.
"...you really think you need me? A distraction..? Someone that lashes out for no reason?"
She wasn't looking for flattery. Despite the truth of what he'd said to his mom, she felt it was flattery, in a sense. But she was, apparently, something and someone that diverted him from somewhere, some place, he needed to be.

He would let his hands relaxed as she spoke, his eyes drifting down her form before looking off to the side. He would stare at the ruined ship- something his childishness had caused. She was exactly right. He would look back at her, his anger now on a tight leash.
"I do need to...stop being childish and grow up. But I'm not the only one."
He would turn his back on her and wave her forward as he walked back toward the ship, and his mother, to help unload.
"C'mon. Help us get this stuff to your ship. You'll want some of this too. Then we'll see about....getting you clothes."
He'd start helping his mother silently with the rubble. Moving it aside, getting food and the ilk. He didn't want to tell Aisu this yet but....going to Vegeta, she would have to play the part of a slave. Of a mewling little animal that did whatever he ordered.
Best to tell her on the way.

Her tail tip twitched as he rubbed the snub in but she stood still, looking at the ship his mother destroyed without effort. Ignoring the rub of being gestured forward, Aisuko let out a sigh and padded along with to go...help. She wasn't sure about how she felt about using her ship. Hell, the Icejin wasn't even sure she wanted to go along with them. Clothes. She had liked the dress she'd borrowed - the pretty blue sundress - but clothes had a particularly sour taste for her, now. Still, she didn't say a peep, instead electing to just go and move the stuff.
Maybe she could just remain on the ship. The prospect of going out and about on Vegeta as an Icejin wasn't that appealing.
Hi-ho, hi-ho, it's movin' rubble we go~

Once the area was cleared, he'd turn to his mother.
"Before we go...I want to apologize for what I said about...about dad. I know what happened, and I'm proud he did what he did. I just wanted...you to know."
He would pick stuff up and turn to Aisu.
"Lead the way."
Since she was the only one who knew where the ship was.

Keerie had worked in silence, her aura and power level having fully settled with the physical labour. She turned towards her son and blinked, slowly, as he made to apologise. A half-smile curved her lips and she nodded.
"Apology accepted." She figured he may or may not apologise to her as well, but, he might not. Either way, she didn't press. She just accepted it and moved on, hoisting the items she had gathered. To be honest, she looked quite comical. Tiny blonde with a small mountain of supplies balanced overhead.
She turned to the Icejin, studying her with those blue eyes of hers.

Said Icejin looked between them. Then, clearly not sold on the idea, she picked up a fair portion of the supplies herself and took to the air, heading back to her ship. Honestly, she probably should have went and gotten it, but, who knew if they figured she would ditch them. Best, then, she decided...to just take them along with her.
Off to Never Neverland!
