Okara hit roughly, feed skidding across the ground as he made an incredibly rough and impossibly uncontrolled Terran-side landing. He coughed, his aura shutting down though his golden hair remained. He coughed blood, grimacing. He'd stopped at a home, stealing a few pieces of cloth and clothes before he approached the side of that mountain in front of him. He approached the great gaping hole, the cavern opening into a maw.
He stepped inside, limping and gasping. Walking down the long tunnel and breathing heavily, Okara dripped blood on the dirt left behind. He ignored the aching, crimping pain as he walked, the mile....the two....disappearing as he continues on the constant path down into the ground. He couldn't help but remember the events of the day. He had awoken in utter, uncompromising pain. Arm useless. Burned. Thankfully the burns were all gone for the most part, but his eye....it was an empty hole. A glaring reminder that he was weak.
He reached the cavern he hoped would be there, a cave large enough for him to stay but small enough to remain mostly unnoticed. He would sit in a corner, letting his aura shift around him enough to give light. He would start to rip up the bandages, gutting them to replace what he had lost. His thoughts swirled.
He'd lost to his parents in a manner deserving of his weakness.
Aisu had wrecked his body.
Then, she saved his honor at the sacrifice of her own.
His pride was in tatters.
He winced, wrapping himself continually. Fixing it. He blinked. He felt horribly for the pain he'd caused. The doctor. Terrifying the patients. He was causing problems for his race. He was undeserving of all of this. He stared down at the cloth, hands pausing.
"RAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAH-!"
He stood suddenly, screaming. His aura erupted as he shattered through clean to Legendary, lightning erupting around his body. He hated himself in that moment. In his weakness. He was so proud, his immaturity caused him to act without thought. It wasn't who he was. He was intelligent, strong, patient. He was letting his emotion for Aisuko and his pride for his parents interfere with his own growth, his own ability to see beyond what was right in front of him. And because of that, he'd hurt others. He was hurting his race.
No more.
He had to evolve.
His aura would quake the earth, tears in his eyes as he screamed, lightning jumping over his body as emotion rushed through him.
