History: Evactuated from Vegeta by their scientist father before its destruction in his own timeline, Cale and his brother Rek were sent through space towards another Saiyan safe planet that was also doomed to be destroyed after Frieza's attack. When their pods reached what was left of it, the auto navigation deactivated and the two young Saiyans continued flying through space in stasis for several decades. It wasn't until they entered Yardrat's atmosphere thirty years later that they awoke from their long sleep, both of them having barely aged as a result of the stasis.
Cale, age 4, and Rek, age 16, began new lives for themselves with the Yardratians, swearing off of the old ways of the Saiyans. The brothers vowed to train until they were strong enough to bring together the remnants of their race, spread across the galaxy. Growing up, Cale learned the Yardratian fighting style, much of which required heavy use of Instant Transmission, and to use a blade made of a unique ore that could store and amplify ki while learning very little of his brother's Elite fighting style. Twelve years later, Rek ascended and, mastering the form, left to find the Saiyans. One year after that, in spite of not yet having ascended himself, Cale left for Earth to track down the hero Goku, tales of whom he'd grown up with, in a bid to find the secret to unlocking Super Saiyan himself and in the hopes that Rek would one day find his way there for the two of them to reunite. Gifted with a Yardratian blade he dubbed Edge, and wearing old armor that his brother had left him, Cale ventured into the blackness of space.
Arriving on Earth several years after the final battle with Kid Buu, Cale was just in time for the next great crisis: the Shadow Dragons had awoken, freed from the Dragon Balls, at the same time as the barriers sealing HFIL were weakening and allowing the strongest of its offenders to escape. Cell and Frieza, returned to Earth, allied themselves with the Shadow Dragons to have their powers increased and the young Saiyan found himself quickly thrown into the fold defending Earth alongside its Special Forces. While some initially distrusted him, Tien, Krillin, and Goku, his childhood hero, took a liking to the boy and allowed him to work with them. Vegeta, who had left Bulma and his children in an effort to return to his old ways and the power he sought there, did not however, and Yamcha hated him even more so.
He killed Oceanus Shenron with Tien, and faced down Eis Shenron with Gohan, Goten, and Trunks, ascending after being continually rebuffed by the Dragon as a weakling while the three Super Saiyans struggled and were defeated one by one. When at last the Shadow Dragons were vanquished, Goku and Vegeta having to fuse into Gogeta while the rest of them bought time, he was the only one to seek out Vegeta and offer a terse thanks for his assistance. Cale left to train his new abilities in the safety of space only to meet with his brother once again. However, Rek had changed; an unexpected ascension to the second level had driven his brother insane, and Rek had quickly returned to the old ways. With an army at his back, Rek was on a warpath through the galaxy reclaiming planets for him to rebuild a new Saiyan Empire, and had either subjugated or convinced several other warrior races to join his forces. Cale, seeing the madness in his brother, refused the offer to join him.
Rek promised that he would come to Earth next.
Distraught at these events, Cale raced back to Earth and sought out Tien, who suggested that Cale learn new techniques to aid him against his brother. However, in their ensuing training session Cale's fragile emotional state caused him to lose control of his Super Saiyan abilities and accidentally kill Tien. Yamcha, seeing this as Cale showing his true colors, chased Cale as he flew to Capsule Corp to ask Bulma for her Dragon Radar and a ship suitable for a trip to Namek. Understanding of his position, and having gotten used to Saiyans' general issues with power control in their youths, Bulma was sympathetic and gave him what he needed. Krillin offered to join as someone the Namekians already knew, and Yamcha forced himself on the pair to watch over Cale. Vegeta, at the last moment, appeared and used the ruse of needing a truly powerful fighter should anyone else from HFIL show up looking for the Balls to hide his true motive: finally granting his own wish for immortality. Cale sensed something amiss about the Prince but felt it best to allow him along and the four of them made their way to Namek.
But it seemed that Vegeta's offer to join them had come at an appropriate time; Babidi and his minions had come to Namek not days before to find the Balls and wish for another Majin Buu, one who could be controlled. Fending off Yakon and Pui Pui while Babidi and Dabura ignored Vegeta, the Prince leapt into the fight to face off against the Demon King until it became clear that Cale's suspicions were correct. Vegeta was far weaker now than he had been before, the abandonment of his family weighing him down and putting him at odds with himself, and Cale had to step in to face down Dabura sword to sword. Fortunately, Babidi called for an end to the fight when he sensed a new arrival on the planet before the two could begin dueling seriously, Dabura promising to see Cale in a true duel someday.
Krain Nightspier, the son of Saiyan refugees, had come to Namek by pure chance and quickly befriended the group. Cale took it upon himself to protect the fifteen year old, but failed when Krain was taken in by Babidi and branded as a Majin, pitting the two against one another. It took Cale allowing Krain to expend his energy while appealing to his Saiyan nature to finally allow the younger fighter to break free of the curse, but Cale was no longer in any shape to fight. As the skies darkened, Babidi summoning Porunga, Krain took Cale back to the latter's ship where he met Krillin and a fleeing Yamcha, revealing that a new Majin Buu had been created. Downing one of their Senzu Beans Cale ordered the three of them to find Vegeta and left to face the creature down himself. A losing battle, Cale only survived when Vegeta arrived and, seeing Cale willing to sacrifice himself to allow the rest of them to escape, ordered Cale himself to leave and not look back.
They left the planet just as the explosion pierced the skies. Cale, laid up in his own ship, searched the planet with his senses but could no sign of the Prince and so the four of them returned to Earth. Bulma, on a whim, had left for Namek not long after the original group had, and arrived in time to see what had happened and find the Prince on death's door, not enough power for anyone to have sensed. She returned him to Earth and began nursing him back to health while Cale tried to rebuild his relationship with Tien, understandably sore after having been killed.
Cale took Krain in, helping to train the younger Saiyan while simultaneously training himself to better handle Super Saiyan's abilities, dedicated to never losing control in such a way again. Seeking out Goku and Vegeta, Cale asked the two of them not to interfere in his coming fight with Rek in spite of either one of them being able to easily take his brother down. With Rek ignorant of the higher forms of Super Saiyan, he would not be a lasting threat but Cale made the argument that this was a fight he needed to endure first. Goku agreed to allow Cale to fight so long as he agreed to give his brother one more chance should he win, but when he spoke to Vegeta the Prince scoffed off his request as a death sentence and offered to train Cale so he would at least stand something of a chance.
Leaving Krain to train on his own, Cale and Vegeta spent the next few months training together out in the wastes; a brutal regiment of Vegeta abusing their racial zenkais to artificially boost Cale's power level higher than simple training could accomplish while teaching him a deeper understanding of the Elite fighting style. The two of them began to form an unlikely bond as mentor and student, Vegeta eventually helping Cale to both fully master Super Saiyan, and to learn to tap into the advanced form of Ascended Saiyan. Without the necessary emotional trigger, Cale could not learn Super Saiyan 2 but the two of them planned to use Rek's madness-fueled egotism against him when Cale revealed not only that he could ascend, but reach a higher half state.
On the day Rek finally arrived on Earth, Cale left to face his brother. Coming down with just his second in command, another orphaned Saiyan he'd found on an outer world named Samatura Graay, Tien stepped in to fight Sammi elsewhere while Cale fought his own brother, many of the Earth's Special Forces standing by to watch. Continuously surprising Rek with his knowledge of the Elite fighting style first, and then showcasing his newfound Super Saiyan abilities, Cale forced his brother to ascend to Super Saiyan 2 while already in a weakened state, but the elevated Reigo began getting the upper hand on the younger of the two. However, Rek bringing up their parents' supposed shame in Cale's weakness as a child was the final piece to allowing Cale to ascend to Super Saiyan 2, and he proved victorious over his brother while Tien, convincing Sammi elsewhere that Rek had merely been manipulating her and that, like he had, she could start a new life for herself on the right side, finished his battle with Sammi.
Cale held to his promise to Goku and allowed Rek one more chance, knowing that his true brother was long dead but allowing the Rek that remained to leave, disband his army, and never return. The moment he turned his back, Rek attempted one last attack and Cale, half out of instinct and half out of betrayal and rage, vaporized his brother on the spot. As rain began to fall on the smoldering battlefield, Cale transmitted away into a self imposed exile.
The Z-Fighter tried, separately, to appeal to Cale and assure him that what happened wasn't his fault, Cale even snapping at Goku when the older Saiyan tried to empathize with him for killing his own brother many years before. It became clear to everyone that Cale was now a changed man, coming into his own as a warrior, his preconcieved fantasies decaying rapidly in the span of only a year as his power skyrocketed. It finally took Vegeta bashing some sense into him to pull Cale from his depression, but upon returning to the ship Bulma had given him, which had become his and Krain's home, Cale found his brother's former second in command living with Krain.
Before he could kill her, Krain stepped in to explain what Tien had done, and that Sammi had sworn to turn over a new leaf and learn to live for the better. Distrustful, Cale warned her that if she did even one thing wrong he would not hesitate to kill her, and although tense the three of them began training together for the next several months in preparation for the upcoming Budokai Tenkaichi. During this time, Sammi would begin falling in love with Cale, but seeing her as nothing but a reminder of his brother Cale fought his own growing affections for her, further distancing himself and focusing on his own training.
When the tournament arrived, the Z-Fighters came together again for the first time since the battle against Rek, breezing through the preliminaries as per usual. Cale managed to defeat Piccolo by forcing the Namekian into a precarious spot blocking a hefty energy wave from the Saiyan shot towards the crowd, a pointedly Vegeta-esque move that initially brought him ire from the others until Piccolo revealed that he was certain Cale could have transmitted in front of it at the last second if he desired; it had only been a move to force Piccolo off his guard. Goten, who had gone missing until then, returned and began attacking the others where it was revealed that he had become infected with the Tuffle creation dubbed Bebi, who quickly jumped bodies to Vegeta while West City was attacked by Androids 19 and 20, who had escaped from HFIL following Cell, Frieza, and Babidi.
Leaving the rest of them to handle Bebi-Vegeta, Cale, Krain, and Sammi left for West City to fight Android 19, with Dr. Gero himself nowhere to be found. Initially restricting them to not using any ki based attacks to fight the army of androids, when 19 appeared Sammi lost her cool and fired a beam at it, which empowered the mechanical terror and quickly allowed it to trounce both Krain and Sammi. Seeing no other option, Cale ascended to Super Saiyan 2 and committed himself to forcing the Android to expend as much of its energy on him as possible, knowing that it had no way to replenish it. Allowing himself to be used as a punching bag, Cale was slowly beaten and crushed, much of the city destroyed by his body as 19 made him into a flailing toy. Forcing himself to keep fighting in spite of the left side of his body being crushed, Cale was sent hurtling by a taunt-provoked explosion directly into a stray piece of rebar from a destroyed building, impaling him in the chest.
Cutting himself free, Cale fell to the ground and passed out while trying to will himself to keep fighting, his energy fading down to nothing while Krain and Sammi watched on. The seeming loss of his mentor and friend pushed Krain to ascend, and allowed the Saiyan to defeat 19, severely weakened from giving in to Cale's taunts, Sammi crawling over to Cale and holding onto his body while his pulse began to fade, convinced that she had caused his death by acting rashly and giving the Android more power. Krain, victorious over 19, used Instant Transmission to take the three of them to Kami's Lookout, rebuilt after Omega Shenron's attack months before, to heal the dying Cale.
He awoke just in time to witness the final fight with Vegeta on the surface below, unable to leave to try and help but forcing his broken body to hover to the edge of the Lookout. Witnessing Vegeta's self-sacrifice, Cale once again passed out as the emotional turmoil rose his power level and opened his barely doctored wounds. Telling Dende not to heal him, so that he could feel the pain of his healing as a reminder of his failures, Cale spent the next several weeks recovering in their ship while Sammi, wracked with guilt, refused to leave his side. Cale began to see the truth in Sammi's attempt to change, and slowly allowed himself to fall in love with her, the two of them finally confessing to one another after Tien convinced the confused Cale to take Sammi on a date where she broke down.
Beginning a relationship at last, the three of them began training again harder than ever with Vegeta gone, determined to one day be able to defend Earth as the next generation of Special Forces. When Turles and the Crusher Corps attacks, Cale, Krain, and Sammi each fight one of them alongside the rest of the Special Forces, Sammi teaming up with Bra and both of them ascending at last.
Months after this event, two new Saiyans arrive on Earth: Araku and Kumiko, Saiyan Elite from the past who, like Cale and Rek, had been locked in stasis for many years and awoken to form the Galactic Defense Force, an organization dedicated to protecting the galaxy from any future threats on the same level as Frieza. The two of them befriend the denizens of Earth and begin living there as well, Cale and Araku realizing that they are linked through Rek, who as a youth had been part of Araku's Elite squad. Araku, admitting that he had come across Rek in space after they had all been reawoken, guilty over not having had the strength to kill his former ward and forcing Cale to eventually have to do it himself, the two of them begin to get closer and train together as they are the only two Saiyans on the planet of similar power.
Araku, adapting wonderfully to life on Earth, was also becoming slightly closer to Sammi, who was spending time with him in order to find a way to get closer to Cale and break through his shell. During a conversation, she revealed that she had never known her mother, and Araku confessed that he was sure he had a child, but it was a casual relation in the weeks before he was deployed just before Vegeta's destruction. As it turned out, that Saiyan woman was Sammi's mother who fled Vegeta during the attack due to her pregnancy, and the two of them agreed to hide this information from Cale for the time being.
Around this time, Cale received a special offer from the Grand Kai to leave for his planet in Other World and train there. Leaving against Sammi's wishes, who wanted to spend more time with him, he left her with his sword Edge to use as a beacon to call him back if necessary, as sending word to him there would be difficult. While he was gone, Rek escaped from HFIL and made his way to Babidi, who offered to bring him back to life on the condition that he use the Majin power to remove Goku's tail; after that he was free to do as he pleased. Agreeing to this, Rek wasted no time in surprising Goku and pulling his tail off, weakening the Earth's hitherto guardian warrior just before Babidi arrived with his minions and newly minted Majin Buu.
With Goku weakened, Vegeta dead, and Cale gone, Araku was forced to step up and fight Rek himself, finishing their fight from long before. Not allowing himself to let Rek go, and channeling his guilt at failing Rek by allowing him to become this and failing Cale by forcing him through the trauma of having to clean up Araku's mess, he ascended to Super Saiyan 3 for the first time and defeated Rek as he attempted to emotionally torture Sammi, forcing her to call Cale back from his training. Arriving as Rek died, Dabura challenged Cale to finish their fight from a year before and the two of them resumed their duel. When Dabura acknowledged that Cale's skills had grown to match his own, Cale showcased yet more swordsmanship, forcing the Demon King back until he offered to finish their fight with one final move each. The two of them faced each other and with one strike, Cale walked away as Dabura acknowledged Cale's full skill, offering to duel him again in the afterlife before he fell to pieces. With the threat of Majin Buu still looming, Cale and Araku joined together in a Fusion Dance directed by Goku, forming the fusion warrior Caraku and allowing them to defeat Majin Buu.
All known threats to the Earth now destroyed, the planet entered a period of peace that would go largely interrupted for many years. Cale would eventually see these, but through a different lens as partway through these peaceful years he was approached by a different Trunks from the one he knew, one from the far future who pleaded with him for aid; an organization named the Time Patrol was in need of powerful fighters, ones who could join in on the fight but were not targets themselves for the Time Breakers who sought to destabilize all of the timelines in existence. Agreeing to join the fight, Sammi and Krain insisted on joining him and the three of them left for over 200 years in the future, where they joined the Patrol as acting Commanders alongside Trunks. This world is technologically advanced, with Namekians and Yardratians living on the Earth after their planets were destroyed and a hybrid race of humans and Saiyans existing due to Goku, Vegeta, and Araku and Kumiko's lineage. This comprimises a small percentage of the human race, but those who possess it are much stronger than their brethren. There are no lineages tracing back to Cale, Sammi, or Krain as the three of them have left their native time.
Now in control of an entire army and well out of their element, the three of them struggled to adapt to their new roles, only finding real solace in the battles that ensued. Miira, a time traveling demon, continually tormented Cale by outmaneuvering him and showing that he was far from powerful enough to face him head on. Driving him to train harder than ever while also helping to run the Patrol, Cale's mental health began to slowly erode away as distance formed between him and Sammi, Krain attempting to keep everything working smoothly and coming into his own as a leader after many years watching Cale grow stronger.
Along with Bakara Tellra (an acolyte of the Crane School and the closest thing to Vegeta's true descendant), Lorelai Akimishi (a hybrid from a clan of ninja specializing in ki channeling weapons), and the inseparable pair of Ikki Myou and Togura Kenshin (hybrid students of the Kikoukenjutsu School founded long ago by Trunks and Goten), the four of them battle against the Time Breakers for a year. Enemies from the past brought back, going into other timelines to ensure that the natural flow is maintained, all while trying to figure out Miira's endgame but feeling inevitably trapped in the demon's plans.
It is during this time that Cale unlocks Super Saiyan 3, finding the personal reason necessary to use such power: the realization that he is the shield for all that he cares for. While his time in the final form is limited, he begins training to extend it's duration.
When a King Piccolo from another world, one who had won his fight with Goku and gone on to become incredibly powerful on that Earth, is brought in to battle the Patrol as a new conquest with his army of Demon Clan spawn, Cale and Trunks mobilize the entire Time Patrol to battle. While refusing to use the power himself, not wanting to lose control at his level of power, Cale helps Sammi and Krain learn to control their Great Ape forms, mastering the advanced Golden Great Ape transformation. However, the war against the Demon Clan proves to be nothing but another ruse; just as Cale is about to lose to King Piccolo, both Krain and Sammi's tails cut off and their powers diminished, the Demon Clan is called into retreat and in the aftermath of the battle it is revealed that the entire war was just a divertion to allow Miira to take the missing member of their team:
Trunks is gone. As all factions in the world come together, everyone from Time Patrol to the Red Pants army to the bandits in the wastes in order to rebuild their largely destroyed world, Cale retreats farther from those around him. Feeling personally guilty for Trunks' abduction, but with nothing happening for nearly a year as their planet is restored to its natural order, Cale leaves to traverse the timelines alone with the aim of finding the source of Miira's power, or perhaps his weakness.
Left without Cale, Sammi and Krain redouble their efforts to lead the Patrol with only half of the Commanders left. Relying more heavily on the friends they've made, the two of them battle against the small skirmishes that start popping up slowly until eventually a full attack commences: Androids from the past, 13 to 15, appear and begin to reap havok along with a first form Cell thought to have been defeated over a year before. As the Androids are defeated, combining into Super Android 13, Cell pounces and absorbs the powered up fighter to transform into his Perfect self, empowered both by Super Android 13's abilities and by Miira's Time Breaker energy. Cell begins searching for Cale, aiming to test his new perfect body against the man who had almost destroyed him before, but finds instead a parade of Time Patrollers throwing themselves at him, culminating in Sammi. Taking her last stand against him, her urge to prove her strength as her own fighter pushes Sammi to ascend to Super Saiyan 2, but the new form isn't enough to save her from Cell's wrath and she is slowly beaten down.
Lost in the timelines, his personal time device broken from being hunted continuously by Time Breakers, Cale receives a message from the Supreme Kai of Time: Return to his home before everyone he loves dies. Using that message as a means of locking onto his own native timeline, Cale's Instant Transmission breaks through the barriers between worlds and lets him arrive safely back on his own Earth. In a flash he travels to the battlefield and protects Sammi before she can be killed, ascending to Super Saiyan 3 and defeating Cell.
Taking Sammi back to the Patrol hospital, they start trying to work through Cale's issues when she wakes up, and sharing a tender moment in her room Cale admits that while only 6 months have passed for them here, he had been lost in timelines for over 18 months native to himself. Upon realizing just how hard Cale must have been working for all of them, Sammi forgives him for leaving in such a way, but makes him promise not to do something like that again. He agrees, and Sammi reveals how much she wants to start a family, an idea that Cale shoots down due to them currently still beeing embroiled in a war.
Over time, Cale realizes that while he cannot give her the family she desires, Cale can at least promise to one day do so, and takes Sammi out one night for the first time in much too long, only to have their dinner be ruined by an attack from a Saiyan Time Breaker, who quickly shows that he can ascend to Super Saiyan 2, taking Cale by surprise and breaking several of his ribs before becoming a Golden Ozaru. With Cale unable to fully ascend to Super Saiyan 3, both he and Sammi battle against the evil Saiyan and, at one point holding up the giant ape's boot before it could crush Sammi, Cale pulls a ring out of his pocket and reveals that he had been intending to propose to Sammi that night, but that it doesn't mean much if they can't win this fight. The two of them lift the Saiyan into the atmosphere and blast his body towards the sun, returning to their home and celebrating both the victory and their engagement.
Still tormented by Trunks' absence, Cale approaches both Kibitokai and the Supreme Kai of Time with a plan to formally disband the Time Patrol, positing that it is only due to the growth of their army that Miira's escalates as it does. And should Miira have agents working in their ranks, removing a command structure and simply making the Earth a planet of strong fighters who respond to distress calls on their own volition would eliminate Miira's chances of being able to predict their movements. However, the Kai of Time lets slip that she has seen children in Cale's future and the meeting is cut short as he quickly returns to Earth only to find Sammi, as the Kai predicted, suffering from the symptoms of an early pregnancy.
Now with more reason than ever to become stronger, Cale returns to his training while both he and Krain agree that Sammi needs to stay at home, and always with a guard; should Miira find out about her pregnancy it would only cause her to become a target. Ikki, Togura, and Lorelai are assigned to take shifts watching over her meanwhile Bakara returns from his own trip through time, unsuccesful in locating where Miira was holding Trunks. Also assigned to watch over Sammi, Cale takes on more work with the Patrol and leaves on a mission when he sees that Araku is going to be killed by a Time Breaker some years after when Cale and company had left their native timeline. Arriving in time to stop the assassination attempt, but unable to leave soon enough to hide his identity, Araku corners Cale into revealing as much as possible about where he's gone and what he's been doing. He mentions that he has become engaged to Sammi, and that they are now, unexpectedly, expecting twins and is smacked through a few rocks by Araku. Furious at Cale's carelessness in impregnating his daughter, he realizes too late that he has let slip who Sammi's father is, and trying to recover from the shock Cale offers to take Araku back for a short visit.
In this window of Cale's absence, the pudgy Janemba is sent to terrorize the Earth, the Time Patrol fighting the creature as Cale goes on his mission and sets about bringing Araku back. Due to Janemba's interdimensional tampering, Rek manages to escape from HFIL, sensing Cale and Sammi's presence in that year, and tracks down Sammi when she finds a way to escape from her constant guard and get some much needed space. Revealing that he had spent the last two hundred years training in HFIL and used his hatred of her, Araku, and Cale to reach Super Saiyan, Rek only stops himself from attacking her when he threatens to blow her stomach out but feels the twin energies growing in her womb. Finding a sick glee in leaving her alive and with the knowledge that Rek was both on the loose and aware of their coming children, he leaves Sammi alone just as her guard arrives to fend the ghast away.
Bringing Araku to the future, father and daughter are reunited and Sammi fruitlessly tries to play it off, finding relief from her run in with Rek in seeing Araku again and Cale happy, until Cale says that he already knows, at which point she begins apologizing until Araku cuts in to explain that he's happy to have Cale as his son-in-law. The family moment is cut short with the massive bulbous form of Janemba appears in East City, sending Araku and Cale scrambling to defend the planet. Forced to fuse once again, Caraku defeats the interdimensional monster and the two of them return to the Saiyan's erstwhile home to find that Bakara had been controlled by Miira for some time, likely taken over by surprise as he traversed the timelines, and has turned against them and taken Sammi back to Miira's hidden plane.
But not without leaving instructions of how to follow.
Cale tries to send Araku back, but the older Saiyan advises Cale to let him come along for the battle to come as it would likely require a full scale mobilization of their forces and while Cale had learned to lead an army, Araku had spent years doing so on a much larger scale. Begrudgingly agreeing, the Kais organize a large scale time jump, depositing the entirety of the Time Patrol's members on the outskirts of Miira's territory between worlds, and the three Saiyans immediately begin tearing through the Time Breaker Ranks; Krain leading the troops on the ground, Araku leading the troops in the air where he has oversight, and Cale charging ahead alone. Eventually breaking into Miira's fortress, Cale finds Miira waiting for him with an unconscious Sammi, revealing that this was all to get him right where the two of them could finally fight.
Furious, Cale rushes at Miira, finding a chance to transmit Sammi to Araku in the battle, and their battle begins to destroy the castle around them and threaten to destablizie the plane that Miira's hideout resides in as their powers clash. Eventually defeating Miira, pinning him to the ground, Cale gives in to the full weight of his anger at the demon and begins pounding him relentlessly for threatening his wife to be, and children to come. Arms blurring, his gloves igniting from the pure air friction, all the while Miira laughs, Cale doesn't stop punching downwards until all that's left of Miira's torso is a pulp of blood and flesh, Araku and Sammi coming to break him out of his exhausted rage.
Before they can all return however, two more enemies appear: Towa and Demigra, both of whom reveal that Miira was simply the first step and that they had collected all they needed to know from the Patrol for now. Souring their victory, the Patrol returns home and Araku is sent back to his time, promising not to divulge any information about where Cale, Krain, and Sammi had gone, or of the future, or the Time Patrol.
Now a father to twins Kole and Raba, Cale still resides in the period of Age 1000 fighting against the Time Breakers, who have had severely decreased activity. King Piccolo still has not resurfaced, although his Demon Clan have taken over a part of the Earth, and Rek is currently nowhere to be seen. However, Cale is, as always, vigilant.
Traits: A Saiyan can gain 8% instead of 5% from training.
Abilities: Kamehameha - (5-30%, variable by situation. Anything above 25% results in a drain on his ki.) Upon his arrival to Earth, Cale had never developed a technique of his own. Under the supervision of Gohan and Goten, Cale is taught the Kamehameha to increase his fighting capacity.
Pulse Flare - (25% increase in PL) After being taught the Solar Flare by Tien, Cale combines his knowledge of high powered wave attacks with the Solar Flare to create his own technique. A bright flash of light preceeds a beam that travels near the speed of light. It sacrifices a bit of power to move so quickly, allowing it to catch enemies offguard through the combination of a blinding flash and the abnormal speed of the attack.
Final Flare - (40% increase in PL, but a majority of ki is drained; Cale can no longer sustain SS3 or SS2) With Vegeta's death, Cale pours his all into developing a stronger technique, one that imitates Vegeta's Final Flash while adding his own abilities to create the Final Flare. A massive wave of energy punctuated by the same bright flash that precedes his Pulse Flare, the destructive power of the Final Flare proves to be inaccessible below Super Saiyan 2, and drains Cale of most of his ki reserves. Used as a last resort, usually to finish off a powerful enemy, the destruction it causes to the area around Cale is enormous.
? ? ? ? - Cale is continously trying to grow stronger, and has not yet developed further techniques of his own
While he does not regularly use them in fights, Cale has learned many of Vegeta's moves during their time training together.
