“GRAHHH!”Haru blinked his eyes open. He was still in the same stance that he had remembered being in, arms up in an x to block a hit to his face. However, the world around him was very different. He seemed to be in some kind of waiting room, and if he was looking around correctly a bunch of wispy white clouds seemed to be waiting around. Haru looked around his body for any sign of damage but couldn’t find that either. “Shounen yo kiite. Himitsu o oshiemasu. Me o akete ireba kaihi shi yasuidesu.”Haru looked over to where he had the Japanese from. It hadn't been since he was on earth since he heard Japanese. There sat a man not too far from him, dressed in an odd mask. Haru approached him before speaking. "Doko wa desu ka?"—Moments Earlier—-“Well I beat your hundred man challenge. You ready to honor the agreement?”Haru stood in the training arena, barely able to contain his ki. It flared with his breathing, spiking around him wildly as he inhaled, and then escaping his body with his breath as he exhaled. He stared down his opponent with a grin. He could feel his ki conflicting inside of him like that old Earth meme about there being two wolves inside of you. One of which was frightened to the bone by fighting a presence known as a living deity. It was as if it was a manifestation of his survival instinct. The other was excited. There was a thrill to this fight unlike any other, and it hadn’t even begun yet. Haru had no idea where this notion came from, or why he couldn’t be bothered to question it despite his survival instinct. One punch from the god of death could be the end of him. But that wolf just kept on telling him one thing. This was going to be fun.

Hades was overlooking the training of some of the newer prospects for the Knights of his domain, when that upstart Haru appeared again. He seemed to take the challenge seriously... Well enough to cause a bit of a rush with the infirmary for the Knights, so much so that they needed to borrow part of a local hospital.
His pale blue eyes watched the man seemingly vibrating in place, barely able to contain himself. That just wouldn't do at all, so Hades would leave his perch and walk calmly down to the actual training arena, waving off the others for now.
"Very well. In celebration of your achievement, I'll let you get off a single attack against me."

"I guess I should feel honored... but part of would just feel insulted you'd let me do that."
Haru's ki flared for a moment as he spoke, but even as the flames of his ki danced around him, his power level remained a consistent 2812. That was hardly enough to be a threat to Lord Hades, but this was about being more than a threat. This was about learning. How does one go about attacking someone they are so woefully undermatched against? Especially when one can't even shoot energy blasts or fly?
"Just so you know Lord Hades, I won't think any less of you if you decide you have to dodge this."
Haru took his Mythrosian weapon, transforming it into a gauntlet. It was a pretty common move for Haru, getting in up close & personal. Quite a few of the guardsman he sparred with had actually fallen to a single gauntlet haymaker to the face. But as Haru ran at Hades, the Gauntlet shifted form once more into a round disk shield much like a buckler. Haru pulled his arm backwards across his body. Throwing his arm forward toward Hades, Haru launched the shield. He followed closely behind, his right fist held up in preparation with his deadly haymaker. Haru hoped he could entice Hades to dodge both attacks by moving to his own right, or Haru's left. He had thrown the shield in such a way that it would ricochet and hit Hades in the back of the head if he did, but only if he dodged in the intended direction. If he didn't, then Haru's shield was likely to slam into his face. It was what you called a high risk, high reward maneuver.

Hades nodded after Haru's warning and declaration, awaiting what his attack would be. Though not a bad idea when it comes to an attack option most Myhtrosians would choose. The weapons forged for the Knights, the Saints was an important piece of culture and power. So having it be the first strike made sense. So, Hades would let the shield slam right into his face! It would bounce off not even really leaving more than small mark where it had indented his skin a bit. It wasn't red or anything, and was already going away as Haru's haymaker came in.
The Lord of the Dead would raise his right finger and intercept Haru's fist, infusing Ki into the point of contact to halt Haru in place before hitting Haru in the chest with a palm strike. (PL: 50,000)

Haru’s eyes squeezed shut as the palm strike came at him. It was the only thing he had the reaction time to do before there was a gaping hole in his chest. In an instant, the cosmos that lit Haru’s ki, burnt out.
---In the Other World—
“Koko wa enma kai desu, shounen.” The masked man responded
“Yemma’s realm… that doesn’t make any sense.” Haru began racking his brain trying to figure out how he got here. He just couldn’t put two and two together. But there was one thing for sure.
“Kimi ga tadashidesu. Mienai tokorode wa kaihi ga muzukashī. Shikashi do yatte?” Haru responded back to the masked man. He let out a hardy laugh, shaking his head.
“You not look smart with words.” The old man stood up, speaking english. It seemed he took pity on Haru’s poor pronunciation of his native tongue. “Learn with fight.” The old man took a stance. That Haru could understand. So the boy took his stance, as the two began bouncing off the floors and walls of the check in station, trading blows. Haru began to realize how much lighter his body was feeling already.

"Oops."
Hades said before leaning down and pumping energy into Haru's body causing it to completely heal before reaching his other hand into some dark portal rummaging around a bit he would pull out some random objects, a red glowing pyramid speaking some lost language promising knowledge, a mirror trying to grant a wish at the cost of the life of the person who makes the wish, an old rusted blade that transformed into a large curved broadsword as he pulled it from the portal. Finally gripping what he was looking for he would pull Haru's soul from other world and slap it back into his body.
He would then toss the objects back in and let the portal vanish.

Haru had been watching the old man, he wasn't quite as fast as Hades. That made it easier. He caught onto some of the old man's tricks, like charging his cosmos, or rather ki, to one part of his body. Haru did so on his eyes, to shield them from wind pressure of attacks. He decided that this needed to be something he did innately which would take a lot of practice. Especially because right now, he kind of looked like he was both glaring while trying to keep his eye lids as wide open as possible. A goofy look, but one could see the ki dripping from his eyes. Haru blasted off toward the old man.
But then he wasn't in that world anymore, he was back in the training room. His body in motion, hurtling towards Hades once more. Haru decided to continue his otherworldly momentum and keep the fight going. He focused his ki on his right hand as he pulled it back before throwing it forward in repeated jabs as quickly at Hades as he could. Haru shouted over himself.
"YOU'RE STILL GOOD TO KEEP GOING RIGHT?!"
