Older sister: Frig
*Advisory: torture and humiliation
She was woken not with an open door but with the shrill sharpening of knives. She must have been too tired from the blood loss to have heard Frig enter. There was even a full set up for her preparation. A beast lit up a standing lamp blinding the younger Jin and displaying the putrid and gored horror she has become.
The scraping and clanking of clean sharpening blades was not the most pleasant experience. But the hands of the woman that was setting up her table with nothing but peace in her eyes was the most beautiful of them all.
She had many husbands and wives like her father and has them spread across her own planet of the Viscount’s control. She was also the most Gentle, but she had a carefree and unfeeling mentality. Certainly she did not love them she only wanted to spread her hands so she had more time to work on her hobbies.
However she was known for her forge work. She made all kinds of tools and mastered an understanding of many trades to better her work. The potential talent of this sister was her genius in craft and trades.
To Glace, Frig was the next elder. We seemed to have skipped over the twins who were born so soon after Glace was. That bloated woman that bore them was finally able to produce a pair of absolute maniacs. Unlike Frig, there was a lot that Glace saw in Frig which she wanted. Beauty, skill, power, adoration… even her skin was effortlessly managed. Compared to what Glace lathered herself up with every day before all of this to come close. She was Hypor’s full blood both were tall and slender and marked iconically with the single elegant horn adorned on their foreheads.
Her blade skills were her finest skill. In both making them and using them. Glace really learned a lot from Frig in the training sessions they had to share. FRig hated them but they gave Glace inspiration on her iconic sharp Ki abilities. And with all of that, Glace knew what she was in for today.
“..ig…” she managed to exhale. She tried to say her name but her flayed mouth and throat would not allow that.
The tall and slender jin looked at her younger sister with Gentle cold eyes. Eyes that grew sadness… it was a farce. Which she obviously could not hold for long before a gentle smile inched on her thin lips.
“Glace…” she walked over looking at the younger Jin up and down with a restraining grimace. “You are in absolute shambles, I’ve seen better treatment for far worse examples of treason. Father really must be making and example of you.”
She exhaled a sad sigh and looked with Pity on the shredded body that Breez gave her. “Beg for mercy and we don’t have to do this. Beg me… you know I won’t look down on you for doing so. There is no reason to be embarrassed or feel shame, don’t put yourself through this anymore. I’ll take a non-verbal acceptance… anything will do.”
Again they were going to ask. She shook her head. Her throat was still exposed so she could not talk well. Her cheeks were also flayed open everything was against her.
A heavy sigh escaped Frig’s lips again. And she brought up two hooks on some wire. Strong wire and terrible hooks.
“Then I have to mark you.” She looked upon Glace with pity. Frigs smooth voice and pristine soft fingers caressed the side of her half-bloods face. “You’re a snake.”
Glace’s eyes widened again. Of course it was true but to full on mark her and not exhile her. They meant to lower her worth and degrade her. She was to be shamed by this from everyone.
Frig’s hands forced open Glace’s mouth, a pair of tongs clipped the tongue, and pulled it out. The weight of them were great and they were positioned so Glace could not retract it back into the safety behind her now black stained teeth from the black blood.
There were the wire loops which were fastened under each of Glace’s arms curving around her shoulders. The hooks went swiftly into the tongue widening it. Pulling them was futile for it would rip them further or cut her under arms.
The tongs came off and a blade came swift to split that tongue down the middle. Each hook held each split. And it forced them to remain apart until they would heal separately. Especially as Frig heated a sheet of metal with her Ki and slipped each side of the split onto the burning sheet. Cauterizing the wound swiftly and carefully.
Facing this it would become evident she was a traitor. The Viscount was at this point with her stubbornness. She was now a snake and can’t be trusted. Imagine however any one of her kind is trusted with anything without gain? It’s a weak and vulnerable Jin. Much like Snu he trusted too much in others even with a fair agreement it will be the death of him. Everyone is just waiting on the spectacle.
Glace’s eyes twitched from the pain and blood fell from her new wounds. She was drooling already from having her mouth remain open. Frig would pour scalding liquid over the wound. Just to see its clean cut and admire her handy work without all the blood in the way.
“The line is straight… the blade wasn’t sharp enough yet.” She looked at the knife she used and sadness fell on her face. Her eyes looked at Glace. “Oh well… best to continue.”
She walked over to her table set up and grabbed a couple more tools. Her Ki lit up filling the whole room with heat. And she placed a hand full of minerals in it. She watched them bubble and combine in seconds. It was shaped and formed into a molten needle which she approached Glace with.
“Father wondered about how we can permanently mark one’s skin. Our kind survives near obliteration, can be rivaled by few because of that. You can practically mince our forms and we can still come together.” She ranted. “So even that split in your tongue will not be permanent. So I’ve been working on methods which are long lasting.
“I’ve not succeeded… but I’ve found some methods which look really pretty and are pretty painful… do you have a design preference?”
Glace would not utter anything.
“I’ve got something in mind. I know we don’t spend much time with each other so we are not very close, even if we are near the same in age, merely months apart… after today at least, you can’t say I never got you anything.” And her Ki began to hover over Glace’s skin. “You are a beautiful jin… even by my standards and you took such good care of your skin. It’s so sad to see it in this condition. I almost feel pained looking at it.”
She oozed molten metal delicately across her body and it melted into her skin as it burned and bubbles. It was like acid and she would twitch and grunt which would spread the wounds unintentionally. She manipulated the chains to get nice angles but she used all her metal across the back and down Glace’s tail.
The smell alone was horrible but the fact her tongue was also being bound by chains wrapping her arms removed the temptation to talk or exclaim her discomfort.
When she was done Glace had a Snake branded into her skin with flowers. the snake had blades ripped through it in many directions. And the flowers were tangled and thorny, binding the snake in its last moments.
“Yes it represents this moment in your life. I’m time this mark will be forgotten… but remember this time in your life and carry it for eternity… knowing you and I will always remember this is enough for me.” Frig wrapped an arm around Glace’s shoulders and kissed her forehead. After that she took her leave.

Elder sister Chi
*Advisory: brutality and violence.
Wrapping her hand there was a face of absolute disappointment. Glace was fading in and out every movement would send nerves into a flame. She was delirious with weakness. She tried to pull herself awake enough to be physically present. Chi’s voice sounded like it was behind thick glass.
“Getting their sloppy seconds is the worst. You’ll probably not hold up well.” Chi was in her mood she towered above her younger sister chained and shredded to bits. Chi was unbelievably big closing in on seven feet tall she was often mistaken for a masculine jin. She was also mistaken for remaining in a secondary transformation. Didn’t help she was as broad as double doors. When she can control her energies to transform her power with in her body there will certainly need to be a height clearance limit. Rumors say she is getting close to it.
And by towered she nearly scraped horns to the roof. She certainly had to duck in the doorway side ways. I could only imagine what she had to do to get so much bigger than all the children. Of course what she had to deal with when facing Burr, Glace suspected it was some kind of drug as well. However there was just a feeling that Glace had by knowing Chi well enough that she’d never take such a cheap shot.
Chi was strong enough to match the elder siblings even if she was more middling by age. The fact the Viscount was letting them come in order by age made this the peak of what will mess up Glace before the others and until the Eldest. However the siblings after Chi will have their own creative methods of brutality than the previous broods.
Chi was a martial artist that would rival many. But training with her was probably the most fun. Chi fought dirty. She still was the fastest to call a duel to show off her talents and win favors. It’s right for her blood line; Breez, Chi, and Burr, were the most Warforged bodied children. Their mother was brutal with giving them the most combatant experiences of them all. That whole bloodline was best on the frontline. well that was until Glace found out what Breez was doing. She could only guess that living up to a sibling like Chi or Burr got to his head. Chi had a good fair amount of weaknesses she was a charge ahead with the shortest route and Bull headed to boot. She also had a gambling problem.
“Bet…” Glace managed to utter. Body still darkened from the blood.
Chi paused in the middle of stretching and was surprised to see her younger half blood was able to make any noise at all.
“Ah… you think you will hold up?” She confirmed. “Fine… if you can’t then I win and you will say Mercy. I’ll take you under my wing and you can be my beast, a pet snake.”
She chuckled at the idea while Glace just hung there preparing for the blows. The black blood would react to her Ki and it will tear her apart but it might also hurt Chi on occasion. The double edge sword she hoped would help.
Glace’s aura was dark but weak, she hadn’t calculated the fact she hasn’t eaten anything in gods know how many days she was down here. No way to calculate the time and some amount of time passed longer than the rest between siblings so it wasn’t like a day to day difference. She might have been down here for weeks. Hunger was definitely one of the minor annoyances she was experiencing in comparison to the other pains she was forced to face.
“Ugh… you can’t even give me your full resistance.” Chi noted with the click of her tongue. “Icee really pulled the fun out of this and Burr really put too much emotion in his blows. He’s been acting off, I think I’ll delve into why that is. He acts like he has a hidden power but he reeks of weakness and sickness.”
She looked at Glace up and down more studying the blows. Glace would have loved to tell her half blood exactly what has happening to Burr if she had the use of her voice. She clicked her tongue. “I should have petitioned for Hypor to heal you… he’s apparently resting.”
She shrugged. “Forget the bet, this was a waste of my time. I’m going to blow a few pieces away and bother Frore Jr. to make up for this. You won’t come close to being any fun.”
She’s in charge of two planets which she alone brought down strong hold walls with her bare hands to conquer. She is the embodiment of “if you want something done right, do it yourself.” She was building a name for herself; The Demon Bull. Once she starts a charge she was not going to be stopped by anyone.
Her hand reared back and her fist stretched her wraps making an audible adjustment around her knuckles and she went right for Glace’s gut which blew a hole right through and out the back was a blackened fist.
From all sides of Glace’s mouth and the wounds from her lack of cheeks poured a fountain of blood. So much blood that a second cough shot some into her nasal passages and out her nose.
The fist retracted with the most slick noise. The black blood was useless and so was her current capability.
“Hm yeah… too much for you. I’ll ease up and make this last a bit longer.”
The hate that grew in Glace’s eyes said it all. The language was pure murder. Chi noticed it and a vile grin creased her cheeks. A chuckle came up the much stronger Jin’s throat as she took a step Closer to the defenseless half-blood.
“You got a long way to go before you can earn the right to look at me like that.” A hand from the half blood came up and back handed Glace making her completely blind.
She felt the next few blows but her body was no longer connected to herself. Chi might have completely disconnected her neck for all Glace knew.
Even more time flew by unknowing how much of that time it was. But in darkness she went dormant and had a moment of peace without pain.
In some distant echo was a growing scream. It reminded her of some long forgotten memory and would infuriate her until she couldn’t think.

Hypor returns
The peace she felt was over seemingly in a blink. When she woke up with renewed anger and pain, the violent nature of her fury and fear came out her immediate response to kill. It came at such a shock to her she let out a feral blood curdling scream while she thrashed around trying to act like she was frantically climbing from the pits of hell. She’d attack anyone near by, chains at her arms broke in response.
She was getting put back together and healed by Hypor who pressed foot on her chest to pin her still. The force he placed cracked ribs and he would not apologize for them. She grabbed some cloth and began to tear into it but she was coming to her senses in moments. Chi put something in her that sank down to her bones that was colder than anything she ever knew. She realizes the powers behind the faces of the siblings that were left; of the half bloods and full bloods both. Knowing what they could do to her… she began to drown in her head.
It took a few moments for her to remember her composure and regain her sense of self. Before she clenched her jaw over her screaming urge. The black blood was rampaging less than before. Its power was weakening as she lost more and more blood. She shuddered her breath and choked her mind breaking down. She would let out a wailing cry… the feeling of defeat would shatter her will.
Tears flowed from her eyes. She was breaking mentally and physically from all this abuse. She felt so weak. Feeling Chi’s power and knowing that some of them still wait in line who are worth almost double that. It would send a terror through her mentality. It would send a whole new feeling of impending ideas that would measure worse than death. Worse was the Hell she saw that awaited for her.
Cold hands hovered over the gaps in her body. Hypor’s power stitched her back together and even growing parts back where she was missing a few.
“Glace… you should call Mercy right now.” Hypor said.
“I c-can’t!” She choked as she sobbed. Of course that was the worst part. She could never walk out of here without killing a piece of her self that was the most true.
“Why not?” He sounded frustrated.
“Because then… I’ll be no more than this!” She opened her eyes and with a hand she grabbed his leg to raise herself so he could look at her gaze.
“How is this any better than a beast?” She asked him with a sob, the sadness and agony that plagued her very existence. “How… H-how is this good enough for you?”
He exhaled a growl with a snarl scrunching his otherwise pristine and smooth face. All before he kicked her right in the chin with great force that her grip came off his leg. “Don’t touch me with your Filthy body.”
He understood what she was saying and why she was saying it. She let go and just laid on the moist and cold ground.
“It’s not…” he answered. “But Father is too strong for me and Junior is not ready to fight him yet either… I’ve tried, in my own way. I’ve seen my limits and have Decided to bide my time little longer. It’s a smart move… one you should consider.”
“You don’t have the Spine to fight him!” She corrected accusingly. Both hands covered her eyes to wipe away the over flow of tears.
“You’ve lost your spine… twice Little Imp! You’ve got to be asking if it’s worth it right now!” He argued shaking his head. “How is this going to help you? I’ve heard what the others are saying… they are bragging about what they plan on doing with you. I’m going to come back more often. You know they are only getting stronger from here.”
“I don’t need you to tell me what to do. You’re only here to heal me because he keeps demanding you do so and you won’t refuse. You must be getting so tired of this, not to mention it takes you away from your own life.” She relaxed her body on the dirty floor sticky with her own blood and fluids. She was wiping her tears, the growing relief of his power lead her mind to come a bit more clear and her composure returned. “Why do you think he even goes through the trouble of all this?”
“Well this has opened his eyes to the fact this is the first time everyone has accepted a summons from him and it’s to beat you to a pulp than feed into his whims.” Hypor pointed out. “He noted at dinner last night how jealous he was that they’d all rather tear you apart than pay him a humble visit for whatever reason.”
“That doesn’t make me feel better.” She snipped.
Hypor looked at her and grinned wickedly it was the most emotion she had ever seen him give. “It means he is slipping on our loyalty. You’ve made him realize his foundations are crumbling. It has him itching.”
She almost twitched a smile to him, because that was amusing and it would cheer her up just a little.
“Maybe I don’t have the spine… if you do. I don’t mind healing you… and I don’t mind waiting for the day you tear down his reign and raise your own. If it means I get to have mine as well?” He bargained.
“Hm… then I might not kill you unless you truly intend to get in my way. But know that if you betray me I’ll expose you for the snake you are too." She relaxed a little more. Peace washed over her mind.
“You’re still not going to call Mercy?” He exhaled.
“Never…” she said with renewed determination.
She was so close to calling mercy today. In his own way Hypor was mending more than just her mind. Her will would continue this long and tedious journey in the cold and putrid dark corner of a place she called home.

***Advisory: Cannibalism and Gore Hypor could not heal the wound in her tongue that was against code and the metal Frig sunk into her skin remained mostly intact. Sadly it was going to be very tedious to remove so it remained for now. She was grey hued in her paler areas but still dark in others. Icee’s blood was wavering and starved. It graved Ki and while it wasn’t strong enough to eat away at Glace’s every move it laid in wait. Glacé could instinctively feel it reserving itself for a feast. When the door opened she got a look at someone she didn’t recognize. She glared at him violently. He puts a hand over his mouth and looks around with the most disgusted face. He coughed to clear his throat and kept to the far edges of the cell away from her. “My name is Bannerman Park and I’ve petitioned the Viscount for support and trade. He is offering Glace for me to marry in exchange for resources on my conquered planet and protection against rivaling families.” Oh the poor stupid lad. They sent her a lamb who thinks he’s made a name for himself. “She is I.” She chuckled. But there was a scent on him she caught a whiff of. One that she knew all too well. Her mother practically bathed in the formula. It was smothered all over this would-be-bannerman. Glace’s eyes widened and her smile dropped. Brisk, the one Glace calls the Woman who bore her, also known to everyone of her full bloods as Mother, must be behind this farce. Brisk was not one to shy away from spending money maybe she gave enough for this Bannerman to get his own planet. And now she was sending this young and tender jin to his death. “OH… this must be a mistake.” He looked down on her. That was his mistake and her anger grew with her contorting expression. “Why?” She asked her eyes mad with fury and her tone with venomous sarcasm. “Surely the Offspring of a Viscount was more than you thought you were going to get out of this offer. Are you going to dare say I’m not worth a Bannerman?” “Because you’re… well hear… and oh goodness.” He turned to walk out when suddenly her chains went slack and the door closed him into the cell with her. The loud mechanism of total lockdown clanked on the other side. “Looks like they want me to kill you Bannerman Park.” She stood for the first time. The energy she spent being healed and being tortured have left her absolutely weakened. Her knees shook trying to support herself and the weights of the chains. She hasn’t eaten in so long, she was so weak. No matter what she felt the weakness take over her sanity. “I think… I dare to think, they mean for me to full on devour you. They’ll force me to leave nothing behind to save you from damnation.” “But I have my own forces! My own resources which are rare and highly valuable!” He called out the door as if someone would listen. “You already lost your planet and we probably already had a foothold in your trust that probably sent you here thinking you could be given a daughter that secured your safety in power.” Glace would surmise. “No! This is not what I was promised!” He’d bang on the door and he’d blast it with Ki, he’d full on try and destroy the room to escape. She would lean against the far wall and save her energy until he was done. Honestly she remembers when her own feats didn’t open a door. How in the hell did this fool conquer a planet and become a bannerman? He aimed his blast at her head. “You’re no more than a Savage! A Rat in a Cage! A Beast bathed in Blood and filth!” She lazily looked at him she twitched feeling the blood react to his Ki when he got close enough it leaped after lying in wait long enough. It pierced him in many places and fanned out ripping him apart. She didn’t even have to move a finger. Icee really had some Viciously greedy influence in her power. It was admirable even for her. His head rolled by her and he stared at her with unhinged hate in his eyes. She would take it in her hands. His jaw moved to swear her into oblivion. But her strength clamped it shut, she gave his head a tight squeeze and the fear in his eyes began to overcome his anger. “Do you feel the power behind my fingers? Your weakness and stupidity is what cost you your life. Even I… am fighting… I am gaining strength… I wait in this darkness so that my assent will be the most vibrant.”
She’d crush him with great force feeling his skull crack and snap. It collapsed and the skin twisted the eyes popped out or were crushed altogether. As all his fluids washed over her arms after the bones finally gave with crunching pop where his skull gave into her strength and her hands slipped through his brain tissues. Letting his consciousness grow dark. He’d see hell today… and stay there.
She looked at his still body, flicking what was left of him off her arms and understood what they dared her to do. This will bring her to such a low point in this life. If Hypor was correct she will need the strength to continue.
So tonight she would drink blood and feast on raw meat. The sounds of tearing into raw slick flesh would fill the silence and darkness as a true monster would be born.

*Advisory Blood
Brisk; Mother of Icee, Glace, Borean, And Fract.
Her body was receiving a break from the visits. She wouldn’t know for how long but she ate and dozed off regularly in this putrid cell. Even her discarded flesh and the flesh of the corpse she consumed was beginning to rot and fill the room with poison.
When the door finally opened she saw a very familiar face this time. In her allure, with blackened arms and legs with dark eyes and only white skin elsewhere she looked at her daughter.
Her head held high tilted slightly and a silk fan unfolded. “Did you enjoy the meal I prepared? Seemed like he was good enough for a daughter of mine in one way or another.”
That made Glace leap and charge only to be stopped by her chains.
“I’ll eat you next if you don’t get out!” Glace snarled. “You’re covering your ass! Hiding an affair with a weasel of a Bannerman of all things, and you used me to do it! Is there anything you are good at? That bloody trick up your sleeves only gets you so far! You worthless, filthy, bitch!”
In a blur her mother had her by the jaw and she tightened her grip until the faint sounds of cracking were heard at various points. The black in her eyes burned holes in Glace’s soul. “You…embarrassed me… I made you and this is how you repay me? His conquests will bring us to raise an empire and you are bringing us low! Tell me Mercy and you can begin to repent for your mistakes, disrespect, and our pride. Say Mercy, say it Now! Our patience is wearing thin!”
Glace made good on her promise by slipping out of her mothers claw and taking a sharp bite out of their palm. Which the black blood in her hand flowed into Glace’s mouth and grew like an urchin in her throat on her mothers command, renewing the power with a much stronger Ki force that was her Mother’s power. It bulged in her neck and skin ripped with thin blood needles exploding from every direction.
“How dare you, you are MY daughter!” She hissed.
“I never… claimed…you!” She erupted her Ki which would take the weaker blood of Icee and absorb it and she would take her hands to her throat and break off the needles of her mothers blood and force it down her throat she forced it all the way down putting her fingers down the new hole of her neck it made and bled. It would mix with hers and her sisters blood diluting it.
“No!” Her mother would point her finger and a needle of blood would extend from the wound and stab her daughter in the chest. She would try and reclaim what Glace took. “You cannot have my power!”
“I… will… take EVERYTHING from you!” She flared her power to its limits and burned the blood with her cold cut power. “I will take it all… I will make it MINE!”
She would learn about her mothers Ki and it will course throughout her body she would create a torrent in her that the blood will have no choice but to be sliced and be destroyed and remade.
Like her mother and her sister poison affected her less and her blood would turn black. Her hands would turn black, the tip of her tail and feet up to her knees would do the same. Until it began to change further!
Her mother retracted her blood and would recoil in disgust. “You’re a Monstrous Beast! Only one of the wives or I will be claimed when Frore gain’s Emperor I will not allow anyone else to have that right! You are trying to ruin it all! All of my hard work!”
“Kill me now or get out, you’ll never see the inside of a Palace much less be apart of some great Empire.” Glace would tell her. “Simply because you were stupid enough to believe you needed that Jin to be worth anything, it’s a horrible mistake that has ruined your Youth and made you an embarrassing disappointment to our kind and to me.”
Her skin whitened and returned to its beautiful complexion aside from her limbs. They grew further more into a pure color. The blood Ki was directly influenced by her own Ki. It changed completely and her limbs bled from black hues into Blue. Aegean of blue so vibrant and bold, it was regal and Glace would smile in approval.
Glace was betting that woman was under the same orders as the rest. Even as strong as she could be she couldn’t use her full power against Glace or it would have killed her. So Glace took advantage of this and even with the amount of blood she consumed she had to take it into herself and awaken that dormant power to continue her fight. But she was making it her own, it no longer belonged to anyone else.
Brisk and her fury grew and twisted her beautiful face into insane ferocity. “So that’s how it’s going to be? Fine stay down here in this filth and rot! I no longer claim you!”
She stormed out but not before she pressed a button that pulled Glace’s chains taught once more and yanked her into the original position she was meant to be in.
Glace learned Noble Blood: Glace can manipulate Ki in her blue hued blood to do as she pleases. All uses with this Ki equals her PL+15%. Damage with this ability continues for 5 posts equaling her PL+5% as long as the infected is a Ki user. Using Ki while infected creates and immediate stat that is Glace’s PL+10% will reduce the effect duration of the blood by one post per use.

Advisory: Violence and Gore
Younger Siblings Celsi and Fahren
Glace had a lot of time to think where time wasn’t seemingly a concept to measure the darkness in her cell. Sometime she thought she could make out shapes or figures maybe even details in the walls themselves but without much else to go on it was just in her head.
So as she thought on some things. Such as why they were taking their time with this?
The Viscount was usually not a patient man and yet while she understood her actions must have caused some great about of hilarious embarrassment, there must be more to this plot. Which she would not yet have the moment to continue this thought process.
The walls exploded and two bright and burning hooks wrapped and punctured Glace in the chest. Clear through from her front they wedged their thick teeth and out the back where they would leave fist sized holes through her entire torso. She was pulled from the crumbling cell the wall behind her buckled under the power and debris exploded with her. Into the icy snow she would be buried as she was pulled through the powdered ground. She was dragged at a fierce speed. Giggles roared over the noise of the rest of it.
The twins.
Celsi and Fahren were the most unhinged of the family. Celsi had her powerful Ki hooked right in the chest of Glace and Fahren would be pulling them on an ornate chariot Glace didn’t recognize. The chariot sparkled with jewels and embellishments as well as Fahren’s power making it incredibly fast.
Glace held on for dear life and was thrashed out wildly trying to do so.
She was thrusted up in the air and whipped to slam back down. She was yanked to the side where all Glace saw was a cliff of ice; sharp cold and frozen solid. She was slammed into it and dragged until the momentum of the chariot wouldn’t carry and she was yanked to the opposite direction she saw much of the royalty and a roar of noise from them.
This was a show.
She was thrown around and around holding onto the hooks she was trying to decide if she should pull them out, tear them out, or let them split her chest out the shoulders. She would be brought down into the snow in front of the Chariot just to be run absolutely over by its heavy powered wheels. Under the vehicle she went and there was a rise in cheering.
Celsi would yank her older half blood again up, over, and in front. Where Glace would rise, fall, and go under. This repeated a couple of times not giving Glace a chance or a choice to do much more than take the beating.
The chains finally ripped through her shoulders and she rolled and tumbled bleeding and broken. No functionality in her arms as the sides of her body were flayed and slackened. Her dark blood gushed from her insides and onto the snow. She would use her power over its control to bring it back into herself and halt herself from bleeding out.
There was cheering and roaring.
“We thought you could use some fresh air!” Fahren smiled as he grabbed the back of Glace’s neck and lifted her up. “Sorry it took us so long to get our turn, you should see the Size of our new home! It’s the biggest! It forced Celsi and I to Divide and Conquer. It might have been too much for a single Jin like yourself, since it was one that you were going to be sent to.”
Glace worked on using her blood to stitch back her upper body so she could slap the shit out of the brats.
Celsi grabbed both of Glace’s slack hands and swung them back and forth with the biggest smile. This halted Glace from using her blood power to continue mending her torso. An earring dangled from her ear one that matches with Fahren as well, they were new. She didn’t think they were one for wearing jewelry but there was a glow to them that Glace felt she had never seen before. They were probably trophies from a fight.
That’s something these two enjoyed. Collecting body parts and trinkets after claiming them. The little murder goblins were vile and disgusting. Amongst their trophies was a horn that once belonged to Subzro, even blood members were not free of their grabby hands.
As Celsi played with Glace’s arms and part of her ripped torso like thick ropes it made Glace winced even if she tried to hold back the pain. “Did you like our new wheels? It belonged to some kinda creature that tried to be a hero of the world we just re-conquered! He rode it across the sky with his Ki! When Father passed on his control the people tried to pick on us kids. What bullies they were!”
“It’s gaudy…” Glace smirked. “The polished metal is thin across it… it’s cheap.”
“Oooh!” The twins mirrored a little surprised by her insult but the mischievous grin that grew wide up their cheeks with mouths full of fangs exposed their vile faces.
“As someone who got close enough to look—“ Fahren started.
“—someone with pieces of it still stuck to their skull.” Celsi finished.
“Thanks!” They cackled echoing one another.
“Suppose we should trash the foil junk!” Celsi yelled and sent forth two massive glowing purple Ki hooks to the vehicle and yanked it.
Fahren held onto Glace by the neck until the last possible second. Because the next would find the chariot slam into Glace with all of Celsi’s power. It shattered with wood, crystal, and foiled metal exploding everywhere. Glace was sent in a tumbling force across the yard. Broken, buckled, and cracked. From her skull to her chest and even to the tips of her limbs.
There were pleasant words exchanged to celebrate the new vile conquering twins Glace pitied the Beasts that they now governed. Their mother was a fat and soft Jin living the dream of Luxury and now that her children were making their moves that blood line was finally contributing to the conquest. It took the woman long enough to conceive she was an arranged marriage with a higher ranked Jin for the Viscount to be sponsored by, personally he didn’t favor her but she promised a child and she gave the Viscount two.
She had an unfortunate run-in with a rogue saiyan which took her head recently. Hypor managed to answer Glace’s summons and found her body but not Glace’s. Both women would decide to keep that instance a secret from the Viscount. The pudgy cow was horribly embarrassed she was offed by the loud mouthed Monkey so easily handed to them by Glace. There was a whole story to that but this was not the time for it.
“Glace!” A voice boomed across the yard. Approaching her was Hypor but it was the Viscount who called after. “Would you like to join us? Celebrate as a family.”
Hypor began stitching her chest back together with his power. Her face half buried in the blue blood stained snow.
“What kind of game is he playing now?” She asked.
“Probably going to rub it in your face that you’re going to be the last one without a planet, whether it’s one the Viscount gives you or one you have of your own under our flag.” Hypor smirked.
Her eyes narrowed and searched the silent face which began to eat. There was a bunch of new faces, new beasts.
“I see we replaced the staff.” She pointed. “They look like they take more comfortably to our home than the last.”
“A gift from the twins. Apparently they were well hidden on that planet. Not even Father knew about them.” He answered. “By the way, it’s been almost three months since your fiasco… incase you wanted some perspective.”
Three months?
She clicked her tongue.
“Hypor!” The Viscount called to his second born. A wave of a hand signaled for him to bring them both over.
He looked down at Glace. “Can you stand on your own? To be honest I really don’t want to lift you, you’re filthy.”
He offered a hand none the less but she swatted it away with her arms functioning again. “If I couldn’t then your reputation will be the one to suffer.”
She would stand on her own. Everyone was dressed in ornate garbs which were nothing but for show and she was as bare as they’d naturally came. Other than the filth that was far more obvious against the white snowed landscape in the broad daylight. It’s a rarely bright day on Arkosia. Seems fair they would set a meal up for this kind of evening. Not even a bluster of wind to be felt.
“Glace…” the Viscount grinned with a smug smile. “You’ve gotten a visit from a good number of your siblings and even your mother… it’s been many months and honestly I’ve really enjoyed having us all get along like this. But we all have a lot to do in our own domains.”
He turned to face her a smug look to his face as he stared at his abused and starved child who does not claim Him as a father figure. “So… are you finished? have you gotten it all out of your system?”

“No…” Glace hunkered over still not quite healed fully. To answer the Viscount who was having a turn at offering Mercy in his own snide way.
It made the “One that Bore” her exhale a dramatic heavy sigh of disappointment. He pointedly tossed a napkin he was using to wipe his chin on the well dressed table.
“Now you’ve put us through a lot of trouble; cleaning up your mess, replacing what you broke, wasting our time. We come here to relax and find a reprieve from our busy schedules.” He looked her up and down. “What do you have to say for yourself?”
Glace looked down and poked out her lip looking real guilty. Which wouldn’t stick for long when a wide fanged grin stretched her lips and creased her cheeks.
“How many times did you have to draw your own bath or cook yourself dinner? Did you fumble about and burn yourselves trying to remember how? Was it really such an awful amount of effort? Or did you realize how weak you’ve become?” She brought a blue hand to her lips and chuckled as a rise of anger lifted from the table. That only made her laugh more. The mothers, the sons, and daughters that wanted to have their turn at her again.
Where the rest began to curse her name. With a raised hand of the Viscount even she slowed her proud laugh to a silent smile.
“Did you want to stay here and paint? Is that what this is about? I will say your works are growing famous I get asked about them on occasion. Maybe you can be the lady of this castle while everyone is away. You can paint and keep everything organized.” He was bargaining.
That was entertaining, he was throwing a bargain on the table to coerce her. But she already made up her mind. Her smile and the light in her eyes did not falter.
“Hm… it started off being what this was about… but, now I realize what was really important to me.” She sighed. “You see Viscount, I was going soft, and being soft means I will not be free. What you want from us all I will refuse to give… I feel no better than a beast when I know I am more. I can not do that under your flag.”
“In a way, that required less effort, I was simply…. Showing more of your blood in my veins. I was going soft like you… soft and lazy. Content with luxury while minions of your own blood did all the work. So I’ll be further detaching myself from your name and going on my own.“
Now she expected her insults to rise some anger. Most get a firm back hand and others lesser get executed. But his next reaction surprised her.
“Oh!” He began to chuckle and a smile grew wide across his deviously vile face. His gaze turned downwind of the table. He locked eyes on a specific Jin. “Is that all it is!?”
Some of the older siblings began to jeer at Shiv. She got the immediate feeling she was on the outside of some inside joke. Doesn’t seem like she was alone some of the younger ones like Snu and the twins looked at each other like they were looking for an answer.
“I believe your older brother remembers what happened when he said something like that to me.” The Viscount pointed out. “It was just after you were opening your eyes to this world… I’m surprised you don’t remember, it seems like I’ll need to refresh the lesson. It will be good for the younger ones as well… just incase they be inspired to do the same.”
“Brisk your Sons are a fine make but it seems like your Daughters have a strong sense of Rebelliousness.” He would point out to add to the Bloodlines embarrassment. I would almost Guess that even something Icee had done caused a remark like that which Glace was not aware of. That was going to have to be unearthed later.
Shiv looked at Glace with absolute fear. Beside him was Breez who looked equally as fearful but didn’t seem to want to move much and he looked smaller. Not as small as Shiv who shrunk himself in some manner of shame.
Shiv rarely talked and he shaped a piece of his exoskin to close over his mouth. If he muffled a whisper it was always behind that piece of him. He always ate on his own time as well, never did he open it in public.
However it opened today it retracted halfway and bloomed the rest in individual parts attached to his cheeks. Glace felt her body grow cold when he too stuck out his tongue and it was forked like a snake. There was mocking and jeering and he closed his mask and looked down swiftly when her face was made.
“Yes, you’ll face Borean, Fract, Shiv, Subzro, Burr, and Junior… then me.” He shrugged. “Mercy is no longer an option, so to my eldest boys you will not offer it. Or the consequences will affect you or your bloodlines.”
“I tried to give you a chance Glace.” Brisk sighed. Now something glimmered in the back of her disappointed facade… it was fear.
The fury that grew on Glace’s struck her mother cold. Her voice a venomous growl as her fangs bared and her nose scrunched in a fierce snarl. Her body leaned forward and her fingers clawed as if ready to tear the woman’s eyes out! “You only tried to save yourself!”
A guard near by lowered his weapon to stop Glace in her path. Now this was amongst fathers Elite guard they were rather stronger than most of the siblings. Certainly they were stronger than Glace. As far as Glace knew… they were fully robotic. Made by Subzro as well as Frig. Their collaborations on the mechanical workings were something of a large influence in Frore’s status. They would be a great and powerful business if they would continue this path.
She would turn and head back to the prison quarters. Hypor apparently felt he needed to follow.
“You knew about Shiv?” She hissed venomously. Her fury burns so hot her hands were shaking. Mercy was no longer an option she could choose. Her heart thumped in her chest so loudly and violently.
“We are not allowed to talk about what happened to Shiv. Frankly those of us who witnessed it all made a promise not to speak of it. It broke Shiv… they laughed about it at the table but it was a great humiliation on that blood line; Snu and Subzro and their mother are facing these hardships from the Viscount.” He shrugged again. “As a matter of fact when Snu was announced the others swore she cheated and he was a bastard. He had to come forth and let it be known he did in fact let her back into his bed. She is an incredible beauty after all.”
Now Glace did remember that whole debacle of the accused affair. “What did the Viscount do to Shiv?”
Hypor was silent for a moment. Considering if he should say. He took too long and Glace turned dead in her tracks and looked at him like she was about to murder.
He huffed tilting his head back and narrowed his eyes. “I know you’re upset but remember who is healing you. I can also wound you viciously with little effort.”
She huffed and crossed her arms. Sharply turning her head to face the wall. Fuming… pouting.
“I don’t know if Shiv wants you to know.” Hypor shook his head. “He didn’t want to list himself to participate in this. He’s being forced… he could go after Snu or their Mother. Of us all Father has him absolutely on a leash and he is putty in the Viscount’s grip. That blood line has the most… compassionate hearts. As you know it’s a terrible and dangerous weakness. Terrified to a crippling degree… he…”
Hypor’s silence caught Glace’s eye. She watched and studied his expression. Hypor caught a glimpse of it.
“I wouldn’t call Shiv a coward or spineless like you do the rest of us… not until you know his pain. Or can even face it without your own fear.” He pointed a finger to her chest.
She huffed, but he was making a point. That absolutely spooked her.
“It makes no difference… I am in over my head I’ll have to take every chance to survive.” She admitted.
“That’s the spirit.” He opened a cell door and she was situated back in her chains to wait for the next brother.
“Hypor…” she paused him for one more moment. “I need you to do something for me…”
His reluctance was noted with a heavy sigh but she gave him a frequency and asked for his utmost secrecy. She would trust him with this alone. Miracles do happen; for when desperate times called for desperate measures. She must have trust in someone.

Elder full blood, Borean.
Borean was a full blood and so was Fract. When he finally decided to grace her cell with his presence. He had his Instrument on his back. He never went anywhere without his strings. Like Glace he was an Artist but for the musical talent. His idea of fun was going to his planet and airing live shows world wide which notate songs and messages inspired by his rule. Propaganda which would further his influence and presence over the masses.
He comes in and immediately opens his mouth.
“You really know how to make a scene don’t you?” He groaned. “We shouldn’t be treating our Blood like this!”
“You didn’t have to be here.” Glace retorted.
He stomped a foot before him and brought a fist forward. “The hell I did! After that idiot Bannerman went missing mother called both Me and Fract from our work. Sure the Viscount gave us an option but she didn’t!”
She smiled tauntingly. “Momma‘s boy.”
He exhaled a growl of frustration throwing a pair of clench fists down at some invisible table. “Glace! This is serious!”
“I was fed that damn Bannerman, I literally ate him, don’t dare consider I’m not taking this seriously.” She snarled.
“Y-you… what!?” Borean leapt back far enough to press his back against the door he turned a few shades paler, believe it or not that’s possible for Ice-jin. “That’s disgusting! Why didn’t you just take the Mercy!? Why did mother allow that?!”
“Why don’t you ask her? Or you can just fuck off?” She snapped.
For some reason Borean and Fract talked way too much. Borean however constantly got Glacé to behave a certain way, she was always drawn to talk around him. He just had this air about him that people opened up to. It was like a weird power Glacé could almost swear was from an outside source, but it was proven time and time again he was just loud and to be louder meant you had to combat that. Which meant most likely fights without force were going to be verbal.
“What are you saying?!” He threw flat hands out in exaggerated fashion in her direction. He was so damn loud and overly expressive with his body compared to the others.
“Why are you yelling at me your hypocrisy!” She practically screamed and she tugged on her chains to rush him but they didn’t quite get her the two inches she wanted to butt him in the head with her foremost horn. “I can not fail this any more than you can think for yourself and stop being scared of that man you call father!”
He met her in the middle and they bumped skulls, he avoided her foremost horn. He didn’t want to hurt her initially… he was too soft, arguably the softest of the four in this line of full bloods. Her eyes twitched from the glaring pain of his force but she felt he wasn’t putting for the full of his effort. Even so maybe it was just for show but His fire flared and so did hers. Actually she was creeping up on level with his power. That was actually the case. She was getting caught up with her siblings.
“You never considered us family!” He accused.
“Never!” She claimed. “Because of this! That damn Flag, his flag! You are all just fucking ok with being forgotten to build his Empire! That is not the Spirit of our People! You’re a bunch of Beasts!”
“We could have been better if we fought together against this!” He retorted.
“Time and time again you had your chances! You’re all too scared! How many more of us will be born to the thrown into his cause Borean?! HOW MANY??!!” She accused back.
“You don’t know what he is capable of!” He retorted again. “You’re playing this all wrong! I promise we are so close…”
He started by shoving her back from their frontal assault. He blasted a powerful Ki at the wall and Glace’s chains to go slack the frosty air blew in cooling the room down more. She paused almost thinking as she watched him with an almost assumption he meant to throw it in her face and just missed.
“Just leave! Run away! If you want to keep going just grow strong else where and face everyone prepared!” He demanded.
Glace inhaled deep and stomped a foot she would. Push off with her feet and dart at Borean. She exhaled a furious roar of anger she was so sick and pissed her wide eyed rage would be a big indicator that she snapped. How dare he suggest she run away?
Her chained Hands came together and swung up at the taller Jin. She would connect with his face to send him stunned and stumbling back.
“Spineless!” She couldn’t tolerate it.
She swung her tail and struck him in the face and again with a foot into his neck that came around in full twirl there after.
“Weak!” She growled.
She swung her chains to smack him across the chest.
He grabbed those and pulled her close.
“Coward!” She spat in his face. Her eyes wide and furious as she screamed all her rage and hate.
“I will not run! I will not Submit! I will not roll over for the likes of you, her, him or anyone like them!” She vowed her will. “I’m better than that! You’re better than that! You and every member of this Family is an Embarrassment to our kind to kneel even just to get by is lowering us to simply becoming Beasts!”
Fury exploded in his face as his snarl was bared. He was nearly about to snap as his rage exhaled growls and blood veins popped tense across his body. His other hand snatched her at the jaw, shoved her to the extent of his arms length and he squeezed.
“You don’t get it.” Borean squeezed until her jaw cracked a fracture. She was still fighting but he was indeed a much stronger brother. As she about utilized her feet and her tail to gain leverage she heard him say one more thing. “Your hopeless…”
And the world went dark with the snap of the neck.

Hypor returns:
The world came back but it was still dark when Hypor arrived. She spent another long age in a room of screaming maws that threatened to melt her soul and rid it of its last moments of sanity.
Her vision came back and he was yawning like he had just woken up. “I sent your message… how you got such a powerful connection is beyond me. The security of that frequency hones on the elites. I was almost surprise that our middle of the line equipment made a connection at all. I was told my quality was poor however, I was embarrassed to say the least.”
No words were said for a moments As her head was being adjusted better to heal properly. She had asked Hypor to message an incredible jin for sure. She realized that after the number of months this was taking Glace was testing this fragile relationship between her and the empress. She needed to reach out and Hypor was tasked with a simple message that Glace was still holding on and will arrive when her family matters are resolved. With a great apology that it was taking some time.
“Borean was pretty angry after his visit.” Hypor finally mentioned. “Other than your head… your body was unharmed… I expected more to be honest.”
“He was projecting his desires… when i refused them I’m sure he was just pissed that I was being stubborn and not allowing him to see someone live his ambition.” She finally was able to scratch an itch on her nose. Her senses and functions were returning with her healed nervous system.
“Oh ho… that was some deep reflection. I had no idea you were capable of such a diagnosis.” Hypor chuckled. It was rare he expressed any emotion other than stoic.
She looked at him and rolled her eyes.
“I’m sure he walked out of here realizing he had to sort out his own problems than impress them on me.” She closed her eyes and rested where she laid.
She was bound by new chains and in a new cell.
“I’m growing tired of these visits, I’m sure you are too.” She rolled over feeling the pain ease with Hypor’s cold Ki mending the last of her wounds.
“Too late to quit them now. After all that bravado?” His smile dropped. “Or did Borean make a point?”
“Hypor…” her voice was a warning she’d hope he would respect.
She didn’t see it but he remained a moment. She heard what might have been him considering words to say but decided not to do so. Maybe he knew she couldn’t be consoled right now and stood to leave her again in the dark.
Now that mercy was off the table Borean’s logic was not far off the mark it was true he got into her head and she was kind of regretting she didn’t take that chance to run. She could rise higher by leaving and come back to tear this damn castle to pieces just to leave it behind forever.
She planned on just causing a scene and grabbing some paintings before leaving. A hand covered her face when she realized this deep dark hole she dug for herself has gone way too far. She was in way too deep.
She can’t back out now, when it was still optional she felt she could go on forever not accepting it. But now she can’t invoke the right of Mercy she realizes her only other lifeline was gone and it puts into view just how dark and cold this cell really was.
Borean offering his turn at Mercy was her last and it was the most Bitter.

Elder brother Shiv, The Cold Shoulder.
She thought her next visit was Fract but when it was Shiv who opened the door she opened her eyes wide.
“Shiv…”
He sighed he didn’t make much eye contact with her. He paused at the door seemingly sorting himself out to muster up the nerve.
She hadn’t heard him speak much, in no way could someone have a long conversation with him. It didn’t look like he was going to start now. He was a broad Jin and taller than most. His exoskin was tight around his face. His horns like the rest of his Bloodline were curlier that most. The went slightly up and started to turn inward over his head they might continue to corkscrew up if he would choose it. His eyes were Darker than most. The skin around his eyes always looked sunken as if he cried them dry on a regular basis or slept very little. He had regular nightmares she had witnessed.
He circled around where Glace was chained. He took the time to adjust the chains as the inter working of the cogs would move her around to where he saw fit she needed to be. She didn’t seem to fight him she was not sure what to say. But she was more so curious.
Eventually all points of her chains grounded her on her knees and to the floor. He posted behind her. She tried to look at him but the back of his hand stopped her at the cheek and nudged her firmly to look forward.
A single fingertip pressed against the back of her head and she felt it was time for him to start. She didn’t really fight it. However the anticipation on what he might do or what things needed to be said would burn in her mind and throat. However she felt it would be a waste of breath. It didn’t make her feel better, maybe that’s the point? She didn’t feel a murderous aura from him, he didn’t want to hurt her.
He started to shake. The nail that pressed against her head shook inconsistently in pressure where it made contact. He took a couple of calming breaths and her vision blinded and pain spiked through her head and down her body. She tenses up and her jaw clamps up as a pulse of lightning popped and shot through her.
It was Shiv’s Ki.
Something made sense to her when he stopped for a moment. She remembers something deeply hidden in her mind.
Her head fell and her body faltered when he stopped. She pulsed and twitched uncontrollably filled with pain as waves of aftershocks lingered. Her stomach wretched with her heaving body.
He sent another more powerful pulse of electric Ki into the back of her head and got much of the same reaction from Glace as before.
A full palm gripped the back of her head to hold her up and send an even more powerful shock through her body. He held her there as she wanted to fall and the paces between pulses got shorter and shorter as the pulse got more powerful.
She couldn’t scream but she heard screams over the sound of lightning pop and crack within her. Shiv might have felt the pain just as much as she and the screaming she heard was his deep muffled cries of his own heart ache and terror. She could not tell but he didn’t want her to see his face. That was for certain.
This Ki was not like most and it certainly wasn’t inherited practice. This was learned. Glace made another string of guesses with the mystery that surrounded Shiv.
One… Shiv had to do this to someone.
Two… he probably killed them in the process.
Three… it tore him to pieces and he adapted it to how he uses Ki.
Finally… he would swear not to use it very often. This was a Viscount personal request.
That last bit of guesswork was in the fact she had never seen him use it and she had never heard anyone mention it. He was a brawler as far as she knew. But this was energy unlike anyone else in the family. He had to have the most potential for mastering Ki than most of them.
He went up to his full power and he was cooking Glace from the inside. She could hardly move any more.
He would let go of her head and she fell to the ground. Her skin bubbled and her body twitched. She earned oddly shaped branching burn marks across her flesh.
He would look at her as fury burned in her gaze.
“Shi…” she tried to speak. Her body pulses with the left over shock. “F-fuck your sssecrets!”
She thrashed her head side to side trying to shake the burning of her nerve endings. But it only caused pain and she exhaled a growl.
“Whatever bbbroke you…” she shook. “I don’t… ccccare! Yyyou’re too weeeak, you Failed… you died then. So just Die if you want! Fuck… I’ll kill you myself one day just to put… you out of your misery.”
Suddenly there was a softening look to his eyes. She had not expected the look of hope he saw in her suddenly. He nodded to her, she had no idea what he was thinking. But he sauntered out feeling his own trauma beat him and weaken his knees.
He was absolutely a broken Beast, truly his purpose and will screamed he wanted to just curl up and die. So why didn’t he?

Elder brother, Fract. Eldest of Brisk.
The door opens this time but it is not Hypor instead it was Fract her oldest full blood.
He walks in hands on his hips. He walked with a lazy gait.
“It stinks of burnt flesh… what a bummer.” He sighed deeply.
“So get this, Shiv had a plea with dad about getting you next. And what do ya know, he was agreeable to it. Now I’ve got you to deal with after you’ve become bacon. Because our blood line is not in high favor and in turn he denied my request to let Hypor heal you fresh before I can have mine.” He spat at his younger sibling and it slid down her cheek. His face twisted into a mad smile. “This is all your fault.”
“What the cosmos did I ever do to you that wanted me to hurt after being freshly healed Fract?” Glace looked at him tired to seem unfazed.
“Icee has mothers poison, now so do you so thanks for rubbing that in my face too. Borean is useless so whatever he isn’t an issue. But I’m the first born of this blood line and yet I’m being treated like I’m nothing. It’s stressful Enough I have to complete against the elders and Chi… fucking Chi of all Jin.” He rolled his eyes. A foot wrapped Glacé left face and he ground his heel into her cheek. “I’d be next in line of succession if mother is favored!”
“Now you’re making this scene and it’s put us all on the chopping block.” He got to the point finally. She could see his true colors coming through his restraint. He forced her head to crane itself against her shoulder.
“Ugh…” she exhaled disgusted by this noise it hurt to speak and her voice was like a veteran smoker’s who gargled nails with Acid. “You want to tell me you enjoy playing this game by his rules? You never played any game by the rules, why start now? Did you think you had a chance to take down the Viscount and Jr. to take the house?”
He stopped and looked at her silent and shaken by what she said. But apparently she was right. He had a terrible poker face.
“For a Jin as smart as you are; You’re stupid and hopeless.” She shook her head hard enough to slip from his grip on her face. “Even if you could take it, which you couldn’t, you’ll never keep it. Just like the Viscount won’t Keep his. Just because you get called on for advice on occasion… doesn’t mean you have any merit. He is just using you like a Beast!”
Fract was a good strategist. The viscount often would refer to him for advice on certain practices. Games were his thing. On his Viscount owned planet he played with his Beasts in a field while hosting other Noble names. It was equally like Networking as well as fun. He and Chi used to be quite close when they would find underground fight rings and cheat on the bets making many houses lose a lot of money. But when Chi became more favored than he then their partnership had ended when she took her own planet. She used a lot of Fract’s strategies to do it too. You can imagine the salt that was produced between the two after that. It was a hard slap in the face.
A square of Ki formed around Glace and lit up the room from below her cooked and blistered skin. It broke her chains. Four other walls of Ki would rise around her and one more would seal a full cube. This was like what her bubble power was like. She wouldn’t admit it but she had it inspired by Fracts cubesque Ki. Debuting that power in front of him would definitely be another hard slap in the face. If she ever got the chance.
With his full force he shrunk the walls around her collapsing her body. Things broke and crumbled. She was condensed unable to stretch out for any reason. She didn’t need to breathe but she did need her insides to stop forcing their way out of her throat.
Apparently he didn’t like the Truth she told in the slightest.
With the flip of a finger he sent it in a spin. Being trapped in a vacuum sealed sack and spinning in whatever direction he deemed appropriate was maybe the most looney process to torture someone. But what Glace was feeling in her softening insides and the trouble she was going to have gaining her ground, would be a testament to all the torture she was experiencing.
He expanded his Ki and from within the entrapment Glace felt many spikes enter some breaking the remaining structure points and it caused her to buckle more and the bubble to condense. She would fill the access space with blood and she would react her blood Ki and fight back. The bubble would ripple and rebel.
This was no longer a test of strength but a test of energy. She would remain calm despite the pins that would pierce her again and again. She would muster a will and a desire from deep within. A demon was ready to demonstrate its presence. Cold and unloving she would be ready to amass enough power to overcome his. He might be a little more powerful than she but she was going to flare up what little bit of power she could muster. They were getting closer to equivalency she could see it. And if she was at full power she would be barely trying.
She started to focus on one point and she pushed, his Ki gave to her power. She forced in and in a swipe she felt it make contact. The bubble broke and she saw her blood dig into his gut.
She retracted her power and he clutched his wound while she would support her broken pieces with her own blood. Her jaw was slack and an eye was hanging loose part of her skull was caved in. The rest of her was a mangled and twisted mess.
She was still piecing herself together but the horror in her elder full blood. Brought a slack tongue smile to her face. Her right arm bubbled blood and shaped her nails into sharpened claws as she lunged forward and swiped his face scratching him with quite a bit of resistance. He was a stronger brother but she realized… she really was catching up.
So did he…
Then he would bring shame to the bloodline further and would trip over himself and fumble at the cell door to scurry out like a rat from a cat.
She wasn’t healing herself but she was being held together like glue. She would remain like that until Hypor was allowed to come in and heal her again. Which would drain her Ki almost completely beforehand. She prayed Hypor arrived before she had to visit dormancy again. She might not come out of it if she let it take her this time.
When he arrived she was coming apart like a broken doll and, like when he came into the cell on his first day, nearly lost his breakfast. Maybe it was her going mad from all the abuse and trauma but she laughed as best she could with the scene of having the stoic and straightforward Jin lose his composure at the amount of Gore she was going through. Simply watching his face contort and his body convulse and heave with the panic to instinctually cover his mouth and hold his hand against the doorway was absolutely hysterical.

Elder brother, Subzro.
She was removed from the cell by the Viscount Frore’s Elite Guard. She decided it was smarter not to fight them.
Now fathers Elite were supposed to be non-sentient robotic warriors. Sometimes they had malfunctions but Frore never seemed to mind and would often tell their creator, Subzro, that it was a delicate balance surely room for error was bound to happen. As if he understood all the cogs and whirls that went into making them.
But she was stronger now she began to play in her mind if she was nearly as strong as they? For the younger and weaker Jin’s of this family they are a constant reason to be afraid. Which always brought up some type of lesson as well.
She would see a growing number of cords which hummed power and it filled the air with an energy that was palpable. She began to turn her curiosity towards whatever Subzro has in store. She heard voices from the Hall that echoed and overlapped. She heard Subzro, Viscount Frore, and the orders to other beasts which could be a combination of directions, telling them to Hurry, and the sound of discipline when they slowed.
“It would be just a simple redirection.” Subzro would explain in fuller detail. “Instead of like with Shiv it will pullout and go back into her.”
When this was said Glacé would enter Subzro’s room and look up at a circle with five inner points.
“Ah! Sissy!” An electric voice would tap on a wrist panel and a sudden stream of floral solution would encapsulate Glacé as she was forced in the room. “Don’t worry it’s a cleanser and moisturizer I thought I’d give you a Hug!”
“Ugh…” she griped.
Frore was suddenly leaving without saying a word.
“Please save it for a more gullible Jin. I’ll not be casually letting you put your hands on me so. You and I both know we’ve never claimed each other, calling me “Sissy” in front of the Viscount is laying the acting on too thick. That’s horribly below your caliber.” She sneered.
His arms, which had been raised and approaching her, dropped and his lit up gaze unnerved her.
“Yes quite right… you were always my favorite critic. You liked to say what not many would dare. Sometimes I would think you never understood my art but when I found out you were true I feel it made me so much stronger!” He smiled. “Now I can’t blame the younger, but the elder broodings… they are too dense to understand. It’s a horrible crime really.”
“I’m grateful for that Snake tongue of yours, in a poetic sense, it’s venomous spirit really washed with how much you actually cared… about yourself. The standard you hold is how everyone should hold themselves, including me.” He approached her as he spoke and just booped her nose before turning away.
She grunted a protest at being touched and was shoved forward with a firm hand at the back of her neck. The power behind that big hand lead her to note that the Guard that held her was indeed powerful. More powerful than she is now. They being more powerful still was the equivalent of her having to sit at the kids table. Only the few elder brood and Chi could be counted as the Elite of them.
Subzro would control dominion over his planet with a moving tank of a fortress. A powerful looming reminder of his presence. He also had to be the most wealthy of them all for he enjoyed prized metals and stones and spent them heavily to create his power and mechanical toys with the finest of craft material. He made every Cell she was placed in since this punishment started.
He was also a cyborg of his own making. Before Hypor became the Jin he was today Subzro became quite injured and his next thought was to replace his missing pieces with cybernetic attachments. He refuses to fix them and has recommended others to do as he did instead of regenerating or healing in a pod. Of course then he would make you pay for it. He charges more for family.
Oh yes, he was quite famous for his theater works as well combined with his engineering he performed a revolutionary theater and propaganda for his dominion.
She didn’t like the grip on her neck and would lash out. She would fight and even power herself into her defense but as expected she came up short.
“What are you going to do to me Subzro!?” Glacé managed to speak as she tried to keep her balance and fight the teeth of the claws that wrapped her neck. The stamina she had been saving for some time had been wanning for a while now. She was not at her utmost potential.
“Oh this is old thing? It’s just something like what we did to Shiv.” He waved a hand to the circle. “Except it has been tweaked to better suit your needs. The whole… heartless loner drama you have made it unnecessary to have a sacrifice. So I’ll just be using your power… well against yourself. That seems to be all you care about anyway.”
She was lifted despite her efforts and from under His cloak came more robotic appendages which forced her body into shackles on each point inside the circle. Finally her head was released but her arms feet and tail were all clasped with razor sharp points inside of the shackles which crushed her to pin her where she was. She no longer had movement available in the ends of her limbs not her hands or her feet.
“Now…” the mechanical voice sounded like it was smiling while Glacé fought back the pain. “This machine is going to loop your Ki and build it and build it then shove it back into you until…”
He made a Pop sound effect.
“It’s quite exciting you’ll have so much of your own Ki pulsing through you, your body won’t be able to contain it! You might literally die.” He Cackled. “Oh man the Beasts I tested this on it made some fun results but to test it on one of us… we are superior beings… oh I’m excited.”
He laughed and flipped a switch which sent the machine into motion. And a surge of power came into her and it was remade to match her Ki and it took all of it, forced it to flow out with the rest of the current. The colors on the machine changed to match her aura and she would feel it pass through her again as her own.
It was a different kind of pain and she would feel it in her very spirit.
If you could imagine a drinking straw, with the gentle lips of a woman taking a sip. The purpose does its job. But forcing the power of a Garden hose through its small flimsy access and it will break. Glacé was not made of fragile plastic or Glass… but she was feeling the force of the pressured flow threatening to tear her limbs and head right off her body every connection was forced to allow this tremendous amount of energy flow through her very existence. If she didn’t do something soon she might actually come undone and die.
She was mentally sent into the room she had seen a few times now. The pain was gone but the mouths that surrounded her were quiet for the moment.
“… No…” she would look around and behind her was the man who had been playing with her all this time.
“I was requested not to give you a quiet moment… you were to get no relief from the cusp of death and dormancy.” His voice would ring in her mind.
Subzro pointed to Glace’s head and it smiled wide the pity tone he took made her limbs grow cold. “I’ve been here the whole time… none of this is real but it’s been very real to you, hasn’t it? You thought you’d get the pleasure of believing we had some kind of hell for you to escape to? You conjured your own philosophy and belief to keep going. How tortured… how tragic.”
He would laugh and she was just stunned. She was frozen with fear and disbelief. He laughed so loud and it vibrated her very existence.
The room would collapse and course with the flow of power that surged into her bringing her back to reality.
She let out a scream that would be both her heart breaking and her mind for a bit.
She should have…, She could have…, She would have…
It’s too late for any regrets now.
It’s far too late and now there is nothing left.
But herself.
Verses a Jin who is in her head somehow, a Jin who isn’t even all himself. He is no longer whole and true…? Unlike her.
She relaxed suddenly. The power flowed through her it threatened to take her with it but she didn’t fight it. Let it take her, it was all her own power. She wouldn’t fight it. Not because she was an icejin worth her salt but because she was Glacé. Whole and true. Like this Half blood said, she was the truest. So she should be that way with herself right?
“It’s… my power… right?”
Oh her sanity was thin, but she felt really nice and filled to the brim with her power. And compared to the infinite potential she did have… it was but a speck of dust to her. Or a single life in the whole galaxy. Or a single planet in a whole universe. But it was in her mind right now and it was obtainable.
It took shape as she flexed her body, it was sharp and it exploded powerful blades from the currents that it took. It would utterly ruin the machine. The whole thing crumbled, destroyed, and set her loose. The excess of power shot free and blew away with her will.
Her eyes opened and her gaze locked onto her Android like brother. “You clunky piece of junk. How much of you is alive and how much have you discarded for rubbish? Do you know how much you’ve limited yourself? Can you even call yourself an Icejin?”
With all of that stored up power she summoned blade after blade all about three feet long and aimed at Subzro.
“What a disrespectful mouth you have to you older brother!” He shouted and prepared an attack but she was already ahead and he can see it. Even with a mechanical face he was panicked.
Blades came from behind and sliced some fragile connections which were exposed in his joints. Just a graze but an eye flickered on his face. He didn’t feel pain there but he was affected.
She also felt something.
“Ah….” With the air electrified by her own Ki she felt the odds and ends which didn’t feel like herself. The pieces of metal from frig and what ever other toxins that laid in her. And a little bug that made a nest in the back of her throat. “Did Icee put that in for you?”
A blade came up and she eased it down past her teeth, over her tongue and down her throat. It stabbed the delicate mechanical bug swift and dug it out. She coughed a bit after removing the blade and found it the size of a fingernail land on her palm. The anger in her eyes.
Her own blood was commanded to force the rest of the foreign pieces from her body they ripped skin and she bled from the small holes just a bit. Her body otherwise had minimal damage to it.
He would go to fire a blast but she launched a thousand blades into him. Some broke and some only grazed him but enough grazing and breaking and she found all the weaknesses in his form. She hit critical pieces to his machine body and he faltered a bit.
She realized really quick.
There was not a piece of him on this body that was his. It was a fake.
“You wretched fool. I’ve got a lot more in store than you could know. Come to my Planet and you’ll have the time of your life. But watch your back or else you’ll become apart of it.” It would spit fading away all its power in its last moments.
Of course all her extra energy was being dispersed. If she had given the machine a few moments more it would have taken her body with her.
She thought it would be smarter now to get away from here. But she felt the taxing effect on her body for the overuse of her life-force and she could collapse. Conscious, but her muscles ripped and tore repeatedly as they expanded and contracted. Eventually she would be found and carried back to her cell unwilling to protest.
There was little to heal and little to do for Hypor so she didn’t need his service. But the rest she finally got then was her victory for this day. For the next while she would not have a lot of power to make a difference. She was crippled by over taxing her Ki. Maybe that was the ultimate goal here or not… it didn’t matter.

Elder brother, Burr.
The Viscount, in name only, has about twenty planets under his control but he only conquered about ten or eleven of them himself. Since then he has spread his command by placing his children on one to keep management over his rule. However keeping his flag some of his children have outgrown their one planet and have requested the title of Bannerman where they have spread the flag but conquered planets of their own without the Viscounts aid. Chi and Burr both had Two under their own control flying the Viscounts legacy. Hypor actually has one of his own as well.
Burr has the blood of a leader. He is probably the greatest general of their family. He is masterful in organizing and intimidating. He basically sets up and runs the forces at home and the worlds that need or request his services.
He also likes to take prisoners.
Many of the family members are actually pretty good at interrogating the masses. Finding out where rebellions are is a crucial and constant fight when you dominate a dictatorship over an entire domain. However I would say unlike most the other bloods Burr has the most patience. He outlasts most of his more stubborn nuts to crack. He turns these situations into a full blown art form.
It’s quite Dangerous for Glace because she is one of the most stubborn from all the bloodlines. As is proven with these trials. She is also one of the least patient of them and grows frustrated and tired rather swiftly.
They had to come in and replace her chains with a stronger material recently. Which meant she was already outlasting the feeble weakness she came into this with. All this work was leaving Hypor exhausted.
She understands why… but his work is getting sloppy. Which was good she didn’t need it after what happened with Subzro but she was not going to be much more than exhausted for the eldest of the Viscount’s brood. She toyed with running away but as she was not getting far having little access to her powers now she opted to stay. She banked on Burr not having a huge plan to rough her up. He wasn’t one to do hands on torture.
So as burr enters he has the most calm feeling to his power. The silence that filled the already quiet room could not be penetrated. He was unpredictable and unreadable. A shiver ran down Glace’s back.
He comes close, very close, she backs up her chains rattle across the floor and against her body where they dangled. He gets so close he closes in on her personal space and looms over her with a firm but stoic expression.
Suddenly he speaks. “You’ve lasted this long you must be seeing the light at the end of the tunnel am I right? You’ve already been through hell, are you expecting that what I have for you will be worse than the previous or will you expect no change and think you can take this all the same?”
Glace stood firm. “Do your worst Burr… I’m not broken yet and I won’t break even if there were twenty more of you to go through.”
He rubbed a spike that protrudes from his chin in thought. “Yes, you think I’ll brute force this?”
She stiffened unsure how to answer that question. Her eyes widened and her hands came up to a more defensive posture.
He noticed. “Im already in your head. Are you overthinking what I’ll do? There is a little panic in your gaze… next you’ll have it laced with anger and false Bravado… impatience.”
“Your breath stinks.” She hissed.
“Exactly, insults.” He nodded and got closer. Hands placed themselves in either side of the younger half-blooded sibling. “What’s next you’ll strike or recoil? I’d love to see either one.”
Her teeth clenched as her heart quaked. Yeah her next instinct was to strike him but as he expected that she was about to feel the hopelessness of what he also expected.
She would take her moment to consider, unsure of what this game was she could react like she would normally but something tells her he was expecting that and it was the wrong answer.
“Do you expect me to act like your captives?” She looked him dead in the eye. “You think you can treat me like a beast or a slave?”
Her hands raised and gripped his wrists the chains rattled. “I still have my pride as an Ice-Jin, I’m more than your savage rats, and you will not get the same satisfaction from breaking me!”
“Good… You’ll prove more a sport!” His hands would come off the wall and fight Glace’s force. He yanked her to the ground making her lose her grip. Of these last three Jin she knew they’d be more than Double her current abilities. Burr is one of the most battle hardened of them all. Chi being his younger Full Blood will attest to their power and ability. This bloodline was the most violent and cruel.
He stepped on her back and grinned his heel into her shoulders. He was a much stronger half-blooded sibling and she exhaled a grunt in response to his force. Her nails dug deep lines in the ground when they clenched.
“Pride… gets you nowhere if you are no better than a bug under my foot.” He pressed and she felt her spine cave in. But he also stabbed her with something sharp and swiftly took something from her.
She got her hands under herself anyway pushing him up with her advance.
“A bug is forever a bug, a beast is forever a beast, I am changing, I am Infinite!” She wrapped her tail around his ankle to pull it off. “What did you do?!”
He suddenly lifted off her kicking her tail way. Entered a couple of beasts pulling in a large contraption. He uncovered the silly bloated looking thing that was rather doll like. Its wide and metallic eyes were more than off putting but the wide mouth that had creases which suggested it opened. It had a crease down the front, also suggested it opened there too.
“You like it? I had help from Frig and Subzro to make it… they took artistic liberties with my blue prints however. I think it’s rather ugly but then again many cry looking at it so it’s acceptable.” He shrugged and placed a vial of her blood atop the head.
As the machine clicked and hummed to life Glace stood and would take steps back dragging the heavy chains with her the sound of metal drag across the cobblestone.
“Burr what the fuck is it?” She growled.
He looked at the younger half blood with a narrowed gaze in all seriousness. “I know something about you, something you might not know about yourself. A great weakness… You inspired me to make it and for many years this machine has aided me in many conquests and take overs.”
A dial began to turn at the back of the machine and the lips opened making the machine whine. A shrill voice quakes her guts from the inside.
She gripped her chest and stomach and hunkered over. “Turn it off!”
He turned it up and the mouth expanded to the chin and neck which made a scream she heard in her ears and head from the very back of her eyes. She began to convulse.
“BURR!” She shook her head to try and move away as she back herself against the wall and clawed at its stone her fingers scrapped claws into its surface. “WHAT… IS IT DOING??!”
“It’s creating a frequency that will agitate your very existence. You feel it inside because it’s honing in on your Ki. Funny thing is I don’t hear a thing.” He turned it up all the way and the neck lead into the belly which bloomed like a flower and exploded int the most blood curdling screech Glace has ever heard, it was unbearable!
She brought hands to her ears but it was in her head. She clawed at skin until it bled from her face to her arms, down her chest and thighs. It was vibrating her bones and chafing her insides.
Her teeth chattered and her mouth drooled, her eyes rolled to the back of her head. She could not even hear her own scream over the noise. She had no coherent thought to be heard. It would bring her to complete and utter madness to live in this moment.
Her body no longer obeyed and she jerked her way from one end of the room to the other. Chaos woke to replace her fading sanity. Her chains didn’t stand a chance. Everyone was underestimating her growth and will to live.
The noise, the screaming, the hate, the murderous will that took over. It needed to go away! She wanted to kill it! She flung her Ki in all directions. Her blood took a life of its own and her skin spiked and retracted as she wanted to kill the noise within her. She lunged for the machine but Burr defended it. So she lunged for Burr.
Burr was enough to handle her but she reached deep within and felt all of her force to bare! He would feel the full of her strength and come out of the room more injured than any of the trials before him. She ripped and bit chunks from him like a feral mauling. Her head smashed into his many times as her nails dug into his cheeks and her feet gripped his arms for dear life.
She became a violent monster and it continued until she finally tired out Burr enough for him to make a mistake. The moment he failed to hold her back she made her move. The machine would be no match for her as she ripped it asunder.
When she finished her body froze with her feet and tail balancing her against the table that held it and her hands bloodied with the damage they faced in her careless slaughter. She froze in silence eyes wide and teeth in a snarl.
“You’re a savage…” Burr exhaled breathlessly. He was in near shambles with missing chunks of flesh and slashed scratches like he went through a garbage disposal and his disheveled appearance froze shocked at the woman that was half his blood.
She turned to see him licking her lips of the sticky blood, she was getting real familiar with the taste of flesh that shared her race. From her hands released the scraps of metal which would clatter to the floor. “I…”
She was regaining her senses and recovered herself enough to blink her eyes and create an expression towards her elder half blood of hate and danger. “I’ll not yet be broken, I will not ever beg for mercy.”
The mess was cleaned by fearful beasts long after Burr made his exit. They both had a lot to think about after seeing Glace and her demonic display.
She exhorted herself and ended up slipping on the ground to deal with the damage she self inflicted. She was certain she had a concussion and her muscles in her back and thighs were torn. Her hands and feed were bruised and sprained. Burr forced her to fight and her mind forgot her limits.
Hypor even though she was conscious and mostly just sore would come to heal her. Extra measures were made by others as well. Obviously with Frore Junior next he got the special privileges and she was going to be near prime to face his wrath.
Glace in some deep dark part of her memory tries to remember something. And something comes to mind. She remembered it was cold and she’d take her first steps. The room was empty and those steps were exhausting. A face of her own kind appeared and moments later it was warm. The voice was kind and it had no intention of cruelty. Her first memory was loving and she’d know no peace like it ever again.
Such a thing she would push away again. Such a thought was useless to her. In no way was it going to weaken her. She won’t allow it.
It was quiet and she was alone in the dark and cold. Her steps were exhausting.
There was no warmth. She would have nothing here. Nothing in this palace, nothing on this planet, nothing to claim. Her bloodline, her history, her race, her origin… she didn’t want any of it! Not a single flake of snow!
It would not be silent for a while there after. For if she couldn’t have warmth she will no longer be silent. She would sing a horrific scream that would echo through the basement cells. She would sing and sing the glass breaking soprano notes all night. She would wail the shrieking cries through the dark. Until she fell asleep and made her throat horse. Without breath she went on for hours.
No other screams rang in her mind but her own. The past was useless to her, right now she only needed herself. So if there was going to be a chorus of screams to plague her dreams then she was damn sure going to make it her own battle cry.

Frore Jr. The blizzard of conquest.
Chi, Burr, and Hypor have their planets they control under the Viscounts flag but Junior has five.
Five planets and he has yet to stop while he is working on strategic plans to continue his growth in power. As first born and most powerful of the Brood he is a kin to the Viscount himself.
There is a story to the man, one which has long been passed through the wives and the children as well.
Junior Killed the Viscounts first Wife, his very own mother. He did so to show his Loyalty to the Viscount alone. He is the only birth of his bloodline.
As you might understand by now it’s very hard to Kill an Ice Demon. In pieces they may live. In parts they may bite still. They are not even afraid to resort to technology to fill in the gaps that go missing. That can mean healing pods or cyber attachments. Through and through they were noted as beings higher on the scale of Evolution than most of not all known races.
A gift like Hypor’s you can imagine is not common. He has his own story where he learned to practically regenerate whole body parts from very little remains, but this is Junior’s story.
And since it’s his turn to walk through the door there was a heavyweight in the air as their power difference was evident. She forced herself not to fall to her knees.
“Glace… good to see you.” He smiled he was always polite and cordial. she never could understand why he always felt like a liar and the most honest person she’s ever known. Like he was faking it but she could tell his smile was genuine. He had never used an aura of malice or murder in anyone’s presence. As an icejin there always was an air of malice and mistrust everyone was out to get you. Either he didn’t see her a threat or he really had no ill intent. She just couldn’t believe that.
She didn’t say anything. She watched waiting to see what he was going to do. No matter how terrible it be she wanted to see the true him in this dark cell. But he brought in a chair for them both and a table was brought in by a beast as well as servings of food instead.
“What is all this?” She hissed heavily guarded with her arms raised in their chains and close to her chest.
He smiled again. It was that exact smile that was cheerful and it hid a certain amount of darkness behind his eyes. It was fake and he was playing a game.
She didn’t trust him, never had.
“I know it’s been a while since you were fed.” He lit a candle for some lighting in the dark cell. “Certainly I didn’t want to risk you taking a bite out of me. Not after I saw Burr and heard the rumors of that Bannerman, Brisk has covered it up and silenced what she could but she can’t control whatever Borean does. Not like too many people take him seriously anyway, which I’m sure she is banking on.”
“As if it would bother you… my jaw would more than likely break.” She threw his logic out the window.
“But you are too strong for chains, I don’t know why they were bothering with them now.” He shrugged as he came close and hands came to her wrists which he broke the shackles with out using much force. He could have used a key. She felt the power in his grip and it stung her heart a bit of fear. Which might have been his intention.
She paused watching them fall and clatter on the floor. “Honestly you are strong enough to take down that wall and leave. I’ve been rooting for you… sit and eat.”
His hand extended to the chair after he placed it in front of Glace. Big hands pulled it out for her in a gentleman courtesy.
She eyed it but decided to see where this game would go. A beast made and served her a plate of her favorite morsels. It was all the flavors she preferred now she got a look at it. Junior got eyes from her that were like daggers. Her throat felt the sting of thirst and her tongue ached for the tastes she hadn’t even seen in ages. The smells almost made her dizzy with how good they were. A change of pace from the musty and filthy dungeons.
“What is this, a final meal before my execution?” She asked half serious.
He started to take a bite but paused and looked real embarrassed he chuckled. “Well no… but I guess it could be?”
He sighed still grinning now more amused. “It was not my intention. But I suppose if you don’t bend the knee to the Viscount after this… he may end you and your bloodline.”
“The whole Bloodline?” She asked making sure she heard him right.
“Yes,” he chewed and swallowed swiftly. “Brisk, Fract, Borean, Icee, and you all will be dismembered and disintegrated.”
She picked up a fork and picked at the plate. Really weighing if she should take a bite. Wanting but refrained.
“I know mercy is off the table… but we can flip the table on its head if you want to join me.” He brought up between bites.
“Join you in what?” She raised a brow.
“Eat…” he urged her. “Might as well… we’ve got a lot to talk about.”
She grumbled and decided to do as he said for the moment.
“What if I told you, I’m a bastard.” He blurted out with a wide grinned

She paused and stared at him with widening eyes. What is the nonsense claim about Frore Jr. the favored son of the Viscount is a Bastard?
“It’s true… so you know the story? I killed my mother… well I didn’t. She is on a planet of mine well hidden. But she fucked a Duke while betrothed to the Viscount during his Bannerman age under that Duke’s rule. She never wanted a child with him… the choice was easy. But she was a favorite of his. So even after I was born when she fought his advance for more. He didn’t care for that one bit.” He chuckled.
“When I presented proof of my mother’s death he simply accepted a bucket of ashes from the fireplace with her jewelry dumped into it. He’ll be an unimaginative and droll fool until his end… it’s so pathetic for one of our kind. Worse is the ones willing to desperately cling to his knees, like the wives.“ he looked at Glacé. “But that’s exactly what you’ve been saying isn’t it?”
“I really am going to be killed am I?” Glace frowned it was all she could muster the energy to say. She really couldn’t believe this was not a joke. It’s almost torture in itself to wait for the death blow.
“What gave you that idea?” He dropped his smile a bit and looked a little confused.
“You can’t be telling me this and expect me to keep it a secret unless I am taken to my grave before I get the chance to say something.” She gripped her chair ready to leap whenever she felt he was going to strike.
“No… I’m telling you so you’ll know we are not even half bloods… so I can ask for your hand in marriage.” He finally got to the point.
Needless to say, forgetting her initial thought, she stood up quick. Quick enough that her chair fell with a clatter on the floor.
“Are you sick? Junior—“ she stuttered but he raised a hand before she could get another word out. There was a level of knowing any impact he could make would hurt her incredibly. Fast and sudden movements from he and the rest of the elders tend to make her react and not in the best of ways. There was the level of instinct that if she fell here she was going to be buried here without hope or help of revival.
“You can call me Froze in the quiet places we may acquire. It’s the name my mother preferred and honestly… me too. To be named after that man I’ve been calling father… it doesn’t suit me.” He grinned that proud smug grin.
He stood up, walked to her end of the table, and picked up her chair while he drove on. A hand gestures her back into the seat. “I’ve been telling mother about your time down here and she and I both agree we like your point of view. Not facing our most hated kind to their faces with how we feel is cowardice and easy gains are below our kind. It’s no way to gain respect or power and expect to keep it.”
Glace was reluctant to move and he grabs her gently by the arm and urges her in to the seat himself. She thought about resisting but his strength was nothing she personally could hold a candle to. She wished he wailed on her a few minutes then left her, this was the most fearsome feeling. All these secrets coming to light and uncertainty if it’s even real. The lies and webs he could be spinning to gain her trust, truly could undo her faster than the abuse she’s been forced to endure all this time.
“So why then? Well, Frore is a joke, eventually his broodlings will be doing all the hard work and it will just be a farce. What he doesn’t realize is that the higher families will absolutely crush him if he stagnates in a seat… many are already looking at this castle to take it for giggles; just to put the Viscount in his place. For of his audacious claims to his title.” He noticed the smudging in his palm from the grime that was caked to Glace. She expected him to clean his hands with a napkin or something with a disgusting expression. But when he didn’t she noted the behavior of him simply grabbing the silver tableware and continue eating. As if he didn’t care? Hypor would have demanded an immediate wash of his hand before he considered cutting it off himself and regrowing the flesh after.
She would have to find a calm thought and begin to eat. Everything was prepared perfectly to her pallet. Not a beat missed from crispy edges to velvety centers. She watched him with absolute interest with thoughts racing a million miles an hour.
“I’m going to be the first, before they get the chance, I’ll take his seat and you can have one next to me. It will be public and my power will be known.” He wiped his mouth with the back of his hand. Not with a napkin. She had never seen him behave like that. Was he that comfortable?
“Could you give me time… to consider?” She would request.
“This is only a limited opportunity… but yes I figured you’d need time to consider. After all you’ve only ever thought of me as a half blooded kin until now. This was going to happen whether you accept or not. Marrying someone in the family might just appease the mothers and decide well for the younger siblings that our… your brothers wish to look after. We can all continue our lives as comfortable as we have been no one has to lose anything… except a false Viscount. No need to have anyone consider this is a bad deal all around and cause a fuss or rebellion.” He was quite the talker as it turned out. Probably to prolong his time down here to seem like he was thorough in his game with Glacé.
He nodded. “If it’s any consolation, most of the elder siblings are in favor of this arrangement. We’ve had a little pact after what happened to Shiv.“
“Ok… what happened to Shiv.” She was tired of that secrecy.
“He was forced to turn his little sister to ash.” He lost his smile his expression had eyes that broke away from looking at Glace and staring at the memory as if it displayed on the table cloth. “After we all had the opportunity to do as you are going through now he spent four days forced to electrocute a sister until she crumbled apart like coal.”
“We had another that was never spoken about?” Glace stopped eating as a matter of fact she was feeling sick. Those memories from before hazed to the front of her mind in the clarity equivalent to a midnight fog.
“Yes, you really don’t remember? It was your first death.” He said and leaned back in his seat.
As a tradition in the Frees family, the young already born evolutionary ready to walk and picking up talking in moments, are met with a moment to view Death. Already taught to kill and watch the life fade from one’s eyes. Some of them are told to Kill a Beast. Others are told to launch an attack on a force that will end a waging rebellion. Finally others sometimes are to watch an execution.
Glace didn’t remember what hers were. Which she was told was normal. Especially since there after their lives are nothing but trails of blood shed most don’t remember their first death. Like they also don’t remember their first meal or first steps. It’s a lesson to degrade the meaning of life and enhance how fragile everyone else was. To relish in the power they have and know those fragile lives mean absolutely nothing in comparison to their superior existence.
His feet sprawled and arms crossed. The only unrelated feature was a furrowed brow and a small frown. “She was weak and Shiv protected her with all his power. He had a lot of it… so when he wanted a place of his own to keep her safe… he was hooked to a contraption that used his Ki to create chaotic strikes of Ki as it was forced out of him. He had no choice but to watch her burn.”
Glacé suddenly remembered something more. Something that shook her to the core. A scream that pierced her to the very soul, the seed of terror that she buried in her mind. One of her first memories, and the horrible feeling after the good memory. She hated the sound that rang in her mind all the sudden. The lights that she remembered would burn her sight. Even that was hazy and muted. She realized why she would choose to forget such a thing. It was useless to her now.
Even as she thought that it dawned on her that if it was true she wouldn’t be haunted by it now. This loop of memories contorted her expression into a fierce rage.
Glacé was swimming in the scandals and the twisted memories which don’t seem to want to end. Now this fool wants to discuss with her what is next to come. To frighten her? To ease her mind? She could not tell.
“What he has for you… is far different. But honestly… I don’t think it will hurt you or even break your spirit.” He leaned forward and looked at her with a slight and excited smile.
Glace felt a little bit reluctant and turned her head and huffed a little.
“Are you finished eating or do you have any more questions?” Froze would ask. “We are running low on time and… I have to rough you up some.”
She was indeed pleasantly filled from the meal. It would revive her power and mind. With a heavy sigh she would answer “Let’s get this over with then.”
She stood and everything in the room lit up in flames from the power that exploded from Froze she was launched back to the far wall chair exploding beneath her. The impact of the power was incredible and it turned her into a blaze.
That was just a simple Ki blast from the most powerful Jin in this family.
It would quit and calm down before another wave would force her back into the wall. It would crack but not cave under his power. He was absolutely holding back. He was just giving her few scorch marks and pinning her down.
When flesh began to peel back off her bones he would stop.
“You’ll have until the end of your trial to give me an answer. We move on the Viscount with or without you.” He would say and leave her with much to think about.
