Since her own goals didn't focus strictly follow the peace summit, Berri found herself left to her own devices. She wasn't sure how long she'd be on the planet, but secondhand data only did so much. Her focus was currently on the site where the earthquakes had taken place shortly before she had arrived on Namek, comparing the damage to the power levels that had been recorded. No one would really care if she was out and about in her suit out in the wastelands, anyway. At least, no one worth her time.
Or so she thought.

Brocc had heard from the locals about the events over the last few days. Great power surges and the ground shaking across the planet, threatening to tear the ground asunder. At first he dismissed it as nothing. Whimsical fantasies at best. Yet the days he had spent here they kept coming up from source after source. Puny race after puny race.
And as much as he hated to admit it. He knew the Blaze family was on world. And one thing he could not deny them was that the family was full of strong fighters. Everything else about them was questionable, but not their strength. So it was with that he decided to investigate this on his own. Suspecting to find the Blaze family training or doing whatever it was that they did.
What he ended up finding was someone in a suit. No power level that he could sense. Well, there was only one race that he knew that was that pathetically weak, wore crap like that, and would be poking around a source of previous power like carrion on a corpse.
"Well if it isn't a little baby Tuffle far from home."
He said, sneering as he floated down to the ground. Arms folded over his chest and tail wrapped tightly around his waist.

This is why she can't have nice things.
The dramatic change in power level spiked the sensors on her scanner, causing Berri's interest to catch as she finished her current reading. When the person began to approach and slow, she pivoted to face them without expecting trouble. Other people still talked about it, and as dull as the planet was in some ways, curiosity was still a thing.
Her lips pressed into a tight line the moment the dirty monkey was in sight, and though he wouldn't be able to see her stony expression, the silence that hung around her wasn't hidden in the slightest. She wouldn't be surprised if it was a Sayain that did this in teh first place. The idiots only knew how to think with their fists.
"Oh goodie," she retorted with a flat voice. "One of you that knows how to do more than point and grunt."

His smirk never changed as he slowly lifted a hand out toward the young Tuffle with the smart mouth. His fist opening just enough for one finger to point at her. Energy gathered quickly at the point before firing outward, if the Tuffle stood her ground she'd find the beam would zip right over her shoulder, next to her helmet and crash into the mountain behind her with a large explosion.
He'd just grunt.

She tensed as he pointed at her, one foot sliding back to make an escape and dodge the attack. How wonderful to see she was proven wrong. But would this fool really attack her in the middle of peace talks? Or was she on to something? Maybe, but this was a Saiyan.
The beam went off right beside her, rubble falling form the mountain in a roar behind her as she had a moment of panic that her pride may end up making her nothing but a scorch mark on the ground.
"I didn't think you'd understand the word 'Neanderthal.' Guess I was right." She shifted her weight, just short of going invisible. There'd be no point, given the readings she was getting. She'd rather keep that secret for now.
Was this one going to toy with her then? Too bad she didn't feel like playing. Her suit's jets propelled her upward so that she was above the monkey. Of the two, she was the one who had would recognize the other's face. It would be enough for now.

"Oh I understand you just fine."
He said flying up after her. Or more flying up to overtake her. Zooming in front of her to bar her path. A Tuffle all the way out here. How quaint.
"What I don't understand is why you are here."
He'd jam a finger for her chest. He wasn't afraid of whatever little gizmos she had on to make her feel safe. In fact, let her use them. That would be just perfect.
"You aren't one of the envoys. And judging on your location..."
The source of a major power spike.
"I think you might be a little rat looking to scurry away with something that isn't yours."
Information most likely.

She came to a halt as quickly as she could with the Saiyan racing ahead of her, irritation flaring at his persistence.
"I have yet to see any worthwhile reason why what I do concerns you." Aside from being the dregs of the universe who were more than happy to stomp you back into place until your spine broke. Berri hovered back a pace as she spoke. Filling empty space and time wasn't going to do her much good: he could outfly her to the point she'd nearly collided with him. She half expected another beam to come from the gesture when she pointed at him. If nothing else, the data records from her suit would include this. She just had no interest in telling him that.

"Because little Tuffle. I'm here to make you an offer."
The smirk remained etched in stone. He had no way of knowing how strong her suit was. But he'd crushed many of these tin cans before. All part of the job when you were the First Knight of Vegeta.
"I'm going to give you the opportunity to reclaim the honor of your little Tuffle friends that I've killed." He spread his arms out for her to make himself as big a target as possible. "What do you say little soldier. I'll even give you the first shot. Strike down the big bad Saiyan and avenge your people. Show me your pride."

She snorted at the mention of an offer. Never make a deal with a Saiyan unless you like wasted breath or action. She didn't roll her eyes, stance shifting as she waited. She knew who this was, even if she didn't call him by name, just as she knew how likely it was she would be getting out of this.
The first strike with loaded bait. Her lips curled in a sneer as he goaded her into making the same foolish mistake he assumed he wasn't dense enough to make. Still, what if she could do something with the first shot? What if she could knock this idiot down a peg or two, make him realize his mistake?
Then again, what if the sky turned purple and he suddenly grew foot-long nose hairs?
But this could be the only chance she had. It wouldn't be forgotten, but if she could destroy him, what then? She'd elevate her family and, just as important, rise above her siblings. No more of this childish baby sister nonsense.
The blade was in her hand as she realized her decision, propelling forward to strike the monkey, slashing the blade across his chest.

The blade came down unimpeded as Brocc was a Saiyan of his word. His pride demanded it. The blade was able to slice through part of his armor, though the attack was far to weak to do any real lasting damage to him. Typical of a Tuffle he supposed. Still, he couldn't help but show just a flicker of disappointment across his features. A flicker that was quickly masked by his pride. There would be no good sporting fight here today it seemed. It was best to do what he came here for and be done with it.
"My turn little baby Tuffle."
His palm shot outward toward her as he flew back several feet. The energy ball of Ki that shot out of his palm would explode into a spread of mini Ki balls once they neared her. Similar to a shot from a shotgun, the young Tuffle would be hard pressed to escape unscathed.

You know that feeling you get when you've made a mistake even while you're making it? That sense of the world slowing as you internalize your repeated cursing and see the backlash coming even though you can't stop it?
Berri does.
Little baby Tuffle goes soaring through the sky, the curses alternating between her foolishness, the idiot Saiyan, and the fact that she knows she heard circuits snapping along with the materials of her suit. The fact that it might be - was - more than just the suit that was broken didn't sink in until after she'd hit the ground.
At least the display was something. Dust rose from the ground in a wave, preventing her from seeing him. But that wasn't the problem. Berri grit her teeth, but it didn't fully mask the cry of pain that she gagged on. Breathing hurt. Everything did.
She'd try to get up, but it woudln't amount to more than limb twitching.

When the Saiyan came down, he came down hard. His boot planting into the downed Tuffle. His heel grinding where the blasts had struck her suit. Just for good measure as he sneered down at her. The smug look replaced by one of furious disdain. Once again he was disappointed by these weak insects that go scuttling about in their shell. For all their mighty talk of reclaiming their planet. Of defeating the mighty Saiyan race, they were nothing but weaklings.
"How disappointing. Is that the best you can muster for your people? Truly a pathetic race."
He'd lift his leg up just to slam it down again. Having her scream and squirm would pick his spirits up a little at least. He had to get something out of this after all.

Pain blasted through Berri's chest and down her spin as the Saiyan came down with his heel to her chest, stars and dark spots exploding across her vision as she was reminded again how this was a bad choice. she tried to reach up, grab his foot, do something to take him off balance and let her get away, but the heel came down again at the parts of her armor that had been weakened with teh explosive chain blasts, parts of it already gone.
She coughed with the second blow, rage giving her the ability to let her speak as its heat spread through her limbs.
"Stupid monkey."

"Excuse me."
A voice would ring out near by.
"That seems to be enough."
Leon would speak with a calm smile and his hands folded behind his back.

"Sticks and stones baby Tuffle. Sticks and stones."
He said, grinding his heel into her wound again. Putting more pressure on that leg as he bent down, his hands reaching for her helmet to rip it off. He didn't know exactly what the little Tuffle had stored in here. But he'd just as soon destroy it as let anything potentially useful go to an enemy.
And so if he was able to get the helmet he'd toss it to the side and blast it with another Ki blast to blow it to dust.
"That's fine. I've finished what I came for anyways."
