The Peace Summit and the planet were starting to grow on him. At least with the vendors from the tournament still around as shuttles to Earth and other planets came and go. For the time being Namek was still a hub, and that gave Bana a chance to try some cuisine from across the Galaxy. This time it was another delicacy from Earth. His interest still peaked in the planet as he enjoyed one of it's dishes. A parfait. The layers of fruit and iced cream was fantastic, and delectably sweet.
It was the perfect way to unwind. A sweet treat dazzling his taste buds as he sat in a padded chair outside of the vendor's stall, his eyes more or less glued to a data pad. This was the essence of relaxation.

"Oi, You again." Rhona walked down the street taking off her gloves. She was just making her way out of a training room. A bit soggy with sweat she'd take a seat across from Bana. "That looks good... You getting used to the Idea of Earth by trying out our homemades."

He glanced up briefly from the data pad to see that it was Rhona, the same Human he kept running into. The one who hadn't secured a way home yet. Friendly enough, stupidly strong as well. Rather impressive honestly, but eventually that natural strength would falter. Either through injury or age. Unlike his work.
"Something like that."
He said as he reached over to have another spoonful of his treat. An Earth treat that he could get used to eating, that was for sure.
"Have you managed to secure a ride home yet?"

She began to tie her hair up to get the strands off her neck. "Ah... yeah..." She almost forgot about the last time she spoke to him that was the topic of their conversation. "To be honest I am a bit nervous. Tournaments over and I am not sure what comes next. I don't even know if Earth saw any of the Tournament." Her smile was apparent as ever as she spoke.

"Why would that make you nervous?"
He asked, lowering his data pad, but not setting it down. That was a very curious response to have he felt. She was nervous about her planet not seeing how well she did. Considering that she made it to the tournament itself showed that she qualified and his own scans revealed that she was probably the strongest human alive. HE strongly doubted that his scans were wrong. That meant that she wanted to impress her planet. Specifically the planet as a whole since she said she didn't know if Earth saw the tournament. Not someone specific like friends or family.
Now there was a puzzle to figure out. She was trying to prove something to home, but what and why? If it was just the sentiment of wanting to be the best, he could understand that and leave it be. But she didn't seem sure enough in herself for that to be the case. No, there was something else.

She wanted to choose her words carefully when answering that question. "I am not sure what I will look like when I return home. It is not really about losing the first round... though while there was hope that I would win... the Galaxy was too big for me to expect much more than that."
"More so I think my nervousness lies in the idea that I still don't know what to do with myself. I feel like I am going back to square one..." She held out her hands. "In one hand, maybe I will join a tour with martial arts tournaments and make a name for myself... That is if the tournament hasn't done that already. In the other hand, maybe I will fly under the radar and teach... like my Father. Then... there is an open space... where maybe I will face my past and continue to find the strength inside me and improve myself." This got deep for Rhona really fast and it really has been what is on her mind since she figured out going home would be the best option for the time being.

"Oh..."
The answer was a bit disappointing and underwhelming. It sounded like it went back to her indecision or lack of conviction. That was a waste, so much talent and potential and she lacked the ability to be decisive in it's application.
"It sounds like you suffer from a chronic case of lacking goals."
It sounded like this was a condition that had been present for a very long time. To be so torn on so many paths it was no wonder she was faltering and nervous. She was trying to walk on six different tightropes at a time.

She laughed practically hearing the disappointment in his words. "Oi don't think you have me entirely figured out... for all you know I could walk out of the space ship and be arrested on the spot." She'd look at his face to see if he'd react. "I am kidding." she'd smiled... but maybe she really wasn't.
"Yeah maybe I do lack goals. I thought I'd live in my Father's shadow, take over the martial arts school, and live out my life keeping the doors open for young kids looking to spark a fire in their souls." she shrugged. "But now I am much more than I originally thought I ever could be... So many doors are open and I could take any of them... but really I could only take any ONE of them. I am afraid I don't know myself well enough to make that decision. Living under the fag my father waved... I just wanted to be like him."

Walking the streets could be as entertaining (or as likely to give her a headache) as it was useful sometimes. As distracting as it could be when surrounded by chatter all the time, Berri couldn't deny she enjoyed getting the end result. Usually.
Equipment on hand, she'd intended to gather data of her own to follow up what she'd already learned, but a slight detour was in order when she caught sight of her brother taking some down time with someone, something that caused Berri to raise a brow and saunter over to the pair. The other woman wasn't sitting down to join him, but Berri had heard the laugh if not the conversation itself.
"Making friends already?" Because that was clearly what was happening, given the expressions she'd seen on their faces. She stood a little closer to Bana than the stranger, though she faced the other woman more when she spoke.

"The possibility of being arrested has no bearing on your lack of goals." It sounded like a poor attempt to garner an air of mystery or danger. Either she was at risk of being arrested or not. Maybe didn't really enter the equation. And if she was at risk of being arrested than one would think her goals would be clear if she intended to return to Earth where that risk was present.
"Why would you want to settle to be just like your Father? You'd think he would have wanted you to surpass him."
Had she no pride at least? She was aspiring to settling. It frustrated him to see that much power just be squandered and wasted. She could easily kill dozens of Saiyans with her power and she was moping around because she has too many options she could do with her life? Because she hadn't given any thought about what to do with herself? Then what was the point in trying to become stronger if you didn't have anything you wanted to do with it.
And then Berri showed up. Because of course she did. He rolled his eyes at her approach and comment. Of course she also had to just poke her nose in because heaven forbid he just talk to someone. This wouldn't be happening he bet if he was recording this conversation. But he wasn't in the habit of recording his lunch breaks and downtime.
"Well you know how it is Berri. Aliens love me."
He grinned as he brought a hand up to flick his blonde bangs to the side before reaching once more for his parfait, he wanted to finish it before the harsh suns did away with it for him.

"I could surpass him in many ways, as far as I know... Maybe I already have. I new nothing about flying or Ki blasts. If my parents knew about what I know now... maybe..." No she wouldn't go there. "If I do nothing else it might be good to share what I have learned."
She did notice he got all worked up about it. Something drove him and obviously it was beyond what Rhona should but her nose in. "Of course all of that depends on what is in store for me. I am just nervous about what I might miss out and what awaits for me once I do make the choice. Have you ever not known where you are going? Ever not have something to stand up for?"
She would not get and answer before seeing a woman, Bana called her Berri, blonde hair, blue eyed, both names started with a B. The deduction came to them being siblings. She was not going to be quick to assume but instead Rhona would try to be as she normally would. Politely reaching out a hand. "Hi, I am Rhona, Rhona Hall. Human of Earth."

Berri mirrored Bana's action with her own eyeroll at his remark about aliens, a light smirk smirk on her face as she chuckled.
"One of your fangirls, then." Joking, though she didn't go out of her way to make it obvious to others. She accepted the other woman's handshake with one of her own, the firm grip confident without undue pressure. She acted as though it were natural for the other woman to introduce herself first. It was safe to say teh woman wasn't a Sayain if her brother was joking, even with her.
"Berri Smoothie. Not from Earth." Obviously. Though she didn't have a scanner out to prod further into the woman's physical details - not yet - she found it out that such a solid presence had such reluctant body language. It faded on their introduction, but it was interesting enough on its own.
"You know, I can always let you two be so you can finish your date. You've not even had a chance to sit down with him."

He smirked at Berri's words. Trying to embarrass him or make this awkward no doubt. Well he was game if she was. Rhona would get stuck in the crossfire, but that was a small price to pay when compared to the idea of letting Berri dictate how this was going to go down! Leaning forward he'd prop his head up with his free hand, and look over to Rhona with a smile.
"Berri is my baby sister. She hasn't learned how rude it is to interrupt two people when they are having a private discussion. But you know how children are."

She'd admire the firm hand shake from Berri but then once let go Rhona would try to hide a smile by placing her fingers over her lips while the two talked their banter.
Rhona was just thinking how this felt familiar. Then Bana created a serious burn... But Rhona would play along. "Ouch Bana... That hurt more than an Iblis Roar... Speaking of she has Wasabi's sense of humor. They might get along well." Rhona winked, obviously referring to Wasabi's habit to assuming everyone has to be in some relationship. But She too was guilty of it to make a joke a time or two, so might as well join in. She never had a sibling but some of Father's students might have felt like brothers.

So this human could keep up with banter. That was a good sign. She resisted the urge to make a face at her brother, barely. Instead, she planted her hands on her hips instead, addressing Rhona with her next words.
"Oh, don't let him fool you. You know what they say - age is different from maturity. We're still waiting for Bana to figures that out." Berri emphasized the word 'hope' by taking her thumb and index finger and reducing the distance between them. She gave her brother a mocking glance, daring him to try again. But her attention returned to Rhona when the woman spoke, cocking her head slightly to the side at the mention of a Wasabi, whoever that was. Given the attitude, she assumed that this Wasabi actually was a friend of Rhona's.
"Maybe." An indefinite answer, but one she could work with if Bana tried to throw the dating card at her this time. She was more interested in the woman's metaphor at the moment.
