Cale blinked, stepping back. A God, offering to work under him? "Rooting them out requires a little more finesse than you seem to have, given how often you seem to interact with us mortals," he said. "And there's no telling how powerful any potential Time Breakers here might be, especially when they can hide their power using the Demon God Demigra's powers. You might be a God of Law, but there's no telling how strong that really makes you."

There was something very wrong with what he said. It took him a second to really put it into the processes of understanding. Then it clicked, a Demon God. Makaioshin. Calling themselves a god? That didn't seem right, but now it made a whole lot of sense.
"There have been rumors with the mortals for some time now that the Demon King was taking orders from someone... Could it be this Demon God Demigra?"
The cogs were twisting in his mind trying to piece things together, but no matter how it worked it would link to the Demon Realm in one way shape or form. As for how powerful that made him he would scratch his right cheek with his right index finger.
"The power I sensed when you went super nova is maybe twenty percent of my power."

Cale had to resist showing further exasperation at Sojun's attempt to fit everything together. "The Demon King is, rather was, taking orders from someone," he explained. "But it isn't Demigra. A Wizard named Babidi had him under a spell, one he's been released from twice. Once by myself."
He listened as Sojun described his power, arching a brow. Cale hadn't fully pushed his forms for fear of doing damage to Namek, or broadcasting too broad a signal. But if the gap was as large as Sojun said, the God still held more power than Cale. There was only one way to find out for sure, though. "Prove it," he said, leaping forwards and drawing Edge, slashing towards the Kai's neck in one smooth motion.

Sojun was taken back by the statement. "Demon King Syfer was under a spell?"
Though he forgot the Saiyan's desire for combat would bring on some form of aggression once stating he was stronger. That was an oversight he would have to remember not to do again in the future. As Cale came at him Sojun grabbed the handle to his large sword and turned to block the slash with the blade over his back.
"Now, now. Not so fast."

A clang rang out as steel met steel, Edge humming against the flat of Sojun's greatsword. "You think the Time Breakers are going to announce if they show up?" he asked, pulling back a fist while their blades were still against each other, sending it hurtling towards Sojun's cheek.

Sojun would deflect the punch with his free hand with ease, pushing off with his left leg to slide into Cale, pushing with his blade and unsheathing to give some distance between them before side stepping, bringing the blade around, ignoring the ground entirely and swinging the blade from low to high in a diagonal slash for Cale's mid section. Sojun wasn't giving it everything, just enough to keep Cale on his toes. When Cale got serious, so would he.
Sojun didn't expect any of his moves would catch Cale off guard enough to land a hit. He didn't want to either, this was a spar, it was simply to see Cale's technique. If it came down to it, Sojun would disarm himself for Cale's safety.

Cale's was smacked away, and he got sent backwards, doing a small flip into the air a few feet above the ground. The ease that Sojun dragged the massive blade through the dirt, like it was just air, almost took Cale by surprise but he brought Edge up in time to stop the blow. His arm almost went numb from the force of the blow, a small shockwave of air ripping out from where the two swords met again. Cale brought his feet up and kicked off from the side of Sojun's sword, flipping upwards over the God and opening his palm downwards to blast a hefty ki wave at Sojun.

His reflexes, agility, and strength were very impressive for a mortal. This was however no where near the power he sensed before. He wondered if this Saiyan would even do it considering the circumstances. At this thought he sheathed his blade looking to the ki blast flying at him.
"HA!"
With a mighty shout the energy expelled from his form would destroy the ki blast. Once the explosion was over Sojun would be holding up a hand saying to wait.
"You won't use your full power due to the damage that might happen to Namek, not to mention the others around us being in danger, or finding out. So I will open my field."
Moving the right hand to hold it out in front of him at about waist level, palm facing up a small cylinder shaped energy would appear. Placing his left hand on his right fore arm he would grit his teeth and the shape would expand to around 500 acres around and miles up and down.
"In here we are the only things that exist. Any damage we do does not effect the outside world, and no power even one of my strongest attacks will escape it. Only those who know how to pass through can enter either."

Cale was sent flying upwards from the kiai Sojun unleashed, spinning through the air to catch himself. He was just about to dive back down when Sojun called for him to stop, causing the Saiyan instead to float down to the ground and watch as the God performed the field binding technique. "Guess that means I'm trapped in here with you," he smirked, getting into the Saiyan Elite stance, feet spread, leaning back on the left, right arm up in front of his head with a clawed fist outwards.
So he could safely go all out in this zone. Perfect, but he couldn't go straight into Super Saiyan 3. He didn't even know if it was wise to use, the power drain could leave him weakened, but it would be good to test the form's abilities where he knew it wouldn't do any damage. "In that case, I guess the warm up's over," he said, eyes growing sharp as his aura blew up around him, turning gold as he ascended straight into Super Saiyan 2. Lightning arced from his form, and Cale bent forwards before shooting himself at Sojun, spinning horizontally through the air and lashing his leg out at the God with a kick that would have split an Android in half.

Sojun nodded with a smile when he said they were trapped in here together. His eyes would open wider, eye brows arcing upwards as he opened his mouth with a sound of slight delight. The stance he knew even in this Universes Elite stances, some things seemed at least standard. At his words about the warm ups being over he would fold his arms, watching still the transformations glory. That's when Cale moved, it was a shock to see the huge jump more than twice his previous abilities at the very least. The leg would shoot out and Sojun's left hand stopping and catching the kick by the shin, the force exploding off the kick would burst past and destroy a chunk of the island from the left over kinetic energy, dust and water flying into the air.
Sojun would twist and hurl Cale away and fire a small green ki blast behind that. It should be just strong and fast enough to let Cale know Sojun was still keeping up in power. Though that was if it hit, he could only watch and see how that goes. Hand still extended with the open clawed hand.

The familiar sensation of pain shooting up his leg from the blow made Cale's blood start to boil as the fight truly began. It wasn't enough to break his bones, but rather just to let him savor the feeling of power behind it. Of unleashing more of his potential. He had striven his entire life not to descend into the same depths of brutality that plagued his race, but Cale was still Saiyan. To deny the thrill of battle was a handicap.
He felt his gravity shift as Sojun sent him flying with the one handed throw, stopping just in time to see the glowing green ki blast shooting towards him. Cale threw one hand outwards, lined with his own silver ki, and caught the blast, making it explode in his palm. As the smoke faded, Cale pulled back his glove and clenched it while the fabric, made to resist ki attacks, sizzled lightly. He darted back into the fight, opening his palms to either side as he flew and sending out two arcing shots, initially going away from them but circling back to close in on Sojun's position. As he came nearer, Cale cocked his fist and made to throw a straight punch at Sojun's chest only to use Instant Transmission at the last second, zapping above Sojun heading downwards with all his momentum intact.

Sojun flicked the ki blasts and moved to flick the punch to his chest when he teleported above him. Sojun was being too non-nonchalant about the spar and the punch hit him in the head. Bending his upper half back some, Sojun would push off the ground and throw his right foot straight up aimed for Cale's stomach.
It was a good hit, but still just a fraction of what Sojun could take. The force of the punch hitting him caused the ground he pushed off of to explode into a huge dust cloud of debris and rocks, the water flung into the air acting as a dirty rain mixing with the dust.

Cale had made a risky play by throwing a significant portion of his weight behind the punch, and needed just a bit of time to stop the inertia from the blow. Unfortunately, that was enough time for Sojun to smack him in the stomach. Cale's vision went white from the kick and he got sent hurtling away.
Cale tumbled upwards through the air, finally righting himself and shooting back around in a broad spiral. He went into a roll as he flew, palms open, raining ki blasts outwards that began to arc towards Sojun. With hundreds of blasts closing in, Cale stopped short near the ground and put his arms out in front of him, fingers together, crossed at the wrists.
Sojun resting in his vision where his hands met, Cale smirked and his power jumped. "Pulse Flare!!" he shouted, and a silver beam of ki erupted from his palms preceded by a bright flash; by the time the flash ended the attack was already halfway to Sojun.

The kick met solid contact hurtling Cale away, but he was not out of the fight and was constantly on the offensive. Reminded him of some of the Destruction Gods. Sojun dodged what ki blasts he could, swiping at others to destroy them without taking too much damage beyond the outer side of his hands as he slashed with knife hands. Thats when he looked up, Cale using an actual technique this time, his power level rising drastically. Covering his eyes for a moment the flash subsiding enough for him to see a fuzzy blur, and it was coming right at him. He couldn't effectively dodge it with his eyes like that and he didn't know if blasting back would be appropriate.
~Guess I gotta take it.~
Placing both hands out in front fo him the blast would make connection, hitting like a flat surface against his palms, the energy bent around his fingers before it's structural integrity broke and exploded. Once subsided Sojun would have a look of surprise on his face.
"Wow, that one hurt a little. Interesting technique. Here's one from when I was mortal."
He would stand up straight placing his hands together, fingers interlocked, static jumping around the fingers as they opened, tips of the fingers laying against each other, and thumbs straight creating a triangle. A glow came from his forehead as a third eye opened.
"Ki Senkakkei!"
A blast would shoot out with immense speed, but matching the power output of Cale's Pulse Flare.

A few years younger and Cale would have been too surprised by Sojun simply shrugging off one of his best attacks to formulate another plan, and while he was certainly perturbed at how easily Sojun had dismantled his Pulse Flare Cale was already trying to come up with a new strategy. What Sojun said caught him off guard, though. "When you were mortal? You mean the gods weren't alway--" his eyes widened when the familiar hand sign formed, the third eye opening on Sojun's head.
Was this guy from the same race as Tien? Was that the Tri-Beam?? Cale knew well enough what the destructive power of that technique could do, but before he had time to fully reel back from seeing such a familiar attack from an otherwise stranger, the blast was already most of the way to him. Cale had no time to build an offense to match it, opting instead to throw his hands out with a shield of ki between him and the oncoming attack. He grunted as it impacted, pushing him back in the air, struggling as much to break through his shielding as he was to keep that shield in place. One had to give eventually, and sadly it was Cale's barrier.
As the cracks began to grow, Cale detonated the ki shield, hoping it would at least take some of the blow away from that Ki Senkakkei, and in the ensuing explosion was sent shooting out of the smoke, multicolored wisps trailing from his body. He stopped himself before slamming against the edge of Sojun's nullifying field, landing against it with his boots and jumping back off to shoot towards the God. Cale stopped short, wiping some blood from his lip onto the back of his glove and spread his arms, lightning starting to crackle down his muscles.
"I'm not supposed to do this," he grinned, blue eyes alight with energy. "But how about I just show you everything I've got??" He'd have time to recover before the tournament if he didn't spend TOO long in Super Saiyan 3...
