The elite would flout over and take a knee, Vegeta would fold his arms and turn his head to Dahveid. Flouting over Vegeta would speak.
"Rise, prisoner..." Vegeta would look around at the other two, remembering Keerie from the recordings. Though not the other male, however he would keep his eye's on Keerie as her words did reach him. "You are correct."
Vegeta had been observing since the ground had begun shaking and split open to reveal the escaped leaders, all four Elite level Saiyan prisoners having apparently joined forces to escape. Caulo, and Ilago had taken their knee, but Moon Barren stood there, pissed. Vegeta ignored them and looked to Dahveid, who made Vegeta look like a smaller child than he was.
"I was coming to the prison to see you, The Albino, and Ilago... I have questions."
Vegeta spoke, as if something pained him, though his eyes kept looking to the dead Saiyans.

Blood didn't need to be shed, no. Not if he let them go. For now Keerie held her tongue. Questions for the prisoners...and he seemed...
Distracted and slightly distraught. Maybe it was the fresh death.
Maybe it was more.
The blonde remained relaxed, seemingly, but there was the tension of a finely-ravelled coil within. The blonde Saiyan was biding her time...

Dahveid would nod and stand.
"I wish we met under better circumstances, my King. It was never my intention to shed the blood of my brothers."
He would furrow his brow, slightly confused. Questions....? He would nod.
"Of course. What ails you?"
Okara remained where he was, just coming to his feet.

Vegeta would look away from the bodies best he could and focus on Dahveid.
"Precautions had to be taken, it was unknown the temperament of those below."
Vegeta explained the hostility at least.
"My father, and the Emperor of Arkosia met to discuss a final truce of sorts. The Emperor is missing and my father is dead. War with Arkosia seems... Imminent. Nothing can be said to keep the Arkosians at bay, nor the cry for revenge from Saiyans. I do not wish to see Vegeta destroyed, or Saiyans needlessly killed... I also do not wish to hate Arkosia or it's people, even though it is difficult... You knew my father longer than me... What would he do?"

Dahveid stared at him for several moments, taking a long and keep breath. He'd wondered whether the young King would come with intent to force him to to kneel. To show the world the strength of the new King. But in this instant, he was forced to restructure the entirety of his outlook on the holder of the new throne. Perhaps....Perhaps....
Perhaps the King was more like his father than Dahveid could have imagined. He would give the smallest of smiles.
"I must admit...though your father and I were good friends, I did not spend enough time with you as a child, and became uncertain of your drive as a King. I can see now that I had nothing to fear."
Dahveid would look at the battlefield, and the broken earth where countless Saiyans were buried. Then he would speak quietly- so nobody (including and especially that Elite) would hear.
"You are filling the shoes of a King loved by his people- so too you must become loved. When he died, there were so many questions and so much finger pointing that the people, mired by grief, looked to the only enemy they could. That enemy has bred the same hatred for a similar reason. Your father was not weak- but he knew how to play to politics. How to show strength when necessary, and how to sue for peace when it wasn't. Your counterpart on the Arkosian home world must be just as wary, else he would already be on the doorsteps of the worlds we currently rule. I am not...fit to advise the King, lest he ask so....I would Reach out to him- inform him that, as a King, you must take a strong stance for the people, but only within our local clusters. Nothing beyond the display of saber rattling, army building. In secret, you might tell him you will aid in the search of their missing Emperor and assist in whatever capacity there that you can, while you work to get to the bottom of your fathers death. Inform him you understand that he too must show strength, but that you would not see our great worlds to war with unjust cause. Offer time- time to find their emperor, time to let the dust settle....time to find the truth, for both of you."
He would take a knee.
"Whatever you do...Look for the faithful among you- those you would trust to sit at your bedside as you sleep. Keep them close, for there are other hands at work among us here. I have...been away so long, that keeping track of what goes on with my people has been hard but I believe that your hands are capable, strong hands. The hands of a King. Your father would be proud that you are searching for answers. For a right path."
He would stand and look to Keerie and stare for a long time....then the Elite. He'd take a slow and deep breath.
"I will not shed blood in the face of my King. I suppose you will be the one taking me to a new cell?"

The blonde froze at the new King's query to her husband, who had been so long without honour in the face of their people that the King requestingg advice from him was like launching a craft into space.
She receded and strained to listen, but could hear nothing.
Keerie straightened, knowing he would respond to his King, and slowly cricked her head to the side...then back. Blue eyes, intent and intense, never wavered from what she could see of Dahveid's form. Though she couldn't hear him, she felt no shortage of pride and pleasure in Dahveid... When he straightened and stared at her for a long time–her heart sank, as she knew it was a sign they would be delayed and a warning against her going on the attack.
His words were the confirmation of that. Her shoulders tensed and even though her gaze hardened - or maybe especially because - her inner screeching wasn't displayed.

The King would pause for a long time, looking down in thought, his jaw visibly clenching from time to time. Though what Dahveid said made sense, he wondered if the inner warring noble families had someone taking temporary charge of the Emperor's vanished position... Then came Dahveid's question which brought him out of thought. Vegeta stared in silence for some time.
"As you were imprisoned by my father for treason, I can not release you..."
He'd let that hang in the air slightly. Before a smirk crossed his face.
"I can however, re purpose your sentence. Dahveid Blaze, I sentence you to life in servitude to your people. Keerie Blaze, for the murder and aiding Dahveid Blaze, I sentence you the same. Young Blaze, I sentence you to guard the King of planet Vegeta for no less than five years. Dahveid, Keerie. You may decide what serving the people of Vegeta means to you, however I request your aid as trainers and ambassadors."

Dahveid nodded- he expected as much, and would respect that King’s word. When he said he was repurposing his sentence, David’s lips parted a little as clear shock came across his face. That was….it was the same thing. Allowing him to choose the way he serves the planet…which could be just living out his life on another planet in a way deemed most honorable. He felt a rush of pride and loyalty to this new King, and would kneel after he asked that he serve as a trainer and ambassador.
“My King I…I will do whatever pleases you most. I would ask, however….to serve as your personal guard. To repay your generosity with the protection my life can offer.”
His honor, his pride, demanded he make such a request. To serve even a child-King, who clearly processed things as a leader. A Captain. A King. Dahveid would remain kneeling as Okara blinked, returning to his feet. He blinked again. The only thing Dahveid heard and knew….was that with this, they could be free. Truly free.

Keerie went motionless - the true kind, not the kind she'd thus far displayed - and slowly exhaled through the slight part of her lips. She would take this...punishment, as it seemed. But it was more gift than that, and she waited for Dahveid to lead the way, and she wasn't disappointed. There was a particular easing in her centre as Dahveid made his bid, and the blonde dipped her head in a slight and respectful nod...but wasn't decided on her own way to serve. Not just yet.
She also wanted to see and hear this young King's response to Dahveid's offer.
The blonde had done plenty of waiting throughout the last eighteen years, but these past few days had been. by far, the hardest.

Vegeta was not taken off guard by the offer, or request as it were. Raising an eye brow he would look to the others present.
"Very well. However, you must take a few weeks to re acclimate yourself to being out of prison."
Vegeta would look to Keerie with a nod.
Vegeta's scouter along with the Elite's scouter would go off into the distance. Vegeta would nod and the Elite would take off.
"As for the rest of you... Ilago you are assigned to the front lines to maintain our border planets. Caulo... You are sentenced to strategy. However."
Moon Barren grinned wide. Vegeta frowned.
"You, are not to be released. The massacre you caused and the things you did, can never be forgiven."
"That's fine with me, twerp!"
Barren would put his fingers to his head and laugh as he vanished. Vegeta would grunt a bit not pleased.

Dahveid would glance at the Elite who left, then back to Vegeta.
"That is generous your Majesty....but unnecessary. We both know I was always a prisoner of my own volition. Serving you would be a pleasure."
He'd glance at the Moon Barren, who vanished. Dahveid scowled.
"He was nothing more than a tool...I should have destroyed him when i had the chance. Filthy prideless killer."

Okara would step forward and drop to a knee, swallowing. He was....versed in the royalty of his home world, he'd just never thought he'd actually be in front of them. This was supposed to be a snatch and grab after all.
"Y-your majesty. The...the ship we came here in. Has a....person of value to me inside. A slave. I would ask to...to save my property, if I could."
He swallowed again.

Keerie hovered in place, watching the prisoners and bristling slightly at the callousness of the one. She turned her attention, however, to her son, then looked back at the young King.
"And I request to accompany my son."
If there were Saiyans...well. Even though she was still likely regarded as an outcast by most Saiyans...she could provide some muscle. She didn't think Dahveid would be along for the ride, at this point. He would be dedicated to the King.

Vegeta would look to the two and then out to the distance of the crash.
"When I gave the order to stop, it went out over the scouter, though high power levels were detected... Higher than should of been. I sent Karo to make sure there is no more fighting, but if you wish to double check that is fine."
He would look to Dahveid as well.
"My father will miss the rest of my life... You have missed the beginning of your sons. Two weeks, that is an order."

Keerie would nod at the Prince's words - and followed it up with a bow of appreciation - and hiked her power level back up, in slow-ish increments.
She looked to Dahveid, staring a moment to let him decide. But if Okara left she would be right behind him, trusting that - by King's orders - Dahveid would be with them.
Fwoooooosh!
