Medea had heard of an ability to sense the aura of others. Their power, she believed it was. A skill like that would be beneficial in order to size up those she intends to deal swift justice to. Being hasty or cocky would only lead to failure one day.
As she sat about the compound, Medea would find herself really studying what the people were like. How they spoke, how they moved, their eyes, skin and hair colours. Every little thing.
It was at about that point she noticed something else about people...
It was strange. Like an aura. Something that had a feeling but also seemed to have a colour...and invisible numbers. It was difficult to describe.
Most if not all did not feel threatening. It didn't raise the hairs on her body like one would feel through genuine fear.
And...you know. Perhaps that's why it had felt that way not quite so long ago.
"At this point...he's too strong." she'd say, placing a hand over her heart as she clenched her teeth. She felt herself pale a bit at the memory.
She hadn't stood a chance.

With the ability to sense others, especially those who knew not how to conceal such things, Medea thought of the importance of being able to conceal herself until she learned how to control her ki better. She had no idea how to hide hers, so, she'd need a better method to hide in another way.
"Smoke and dust will not stop someone who can still sense me." she'd murmur.
"I cannot stop this. So the concealment must disorient as well."
She knew nothing more disorienting than being dizzy. Or a flash of bright light.
Since she wasn't confident in spinning someone...
Medea would place her hand on her chest, willing her ki to burst out as brightly as she could. She tried to imagine the sun...the brilliance of Krios....a light suddenly turning on when you're in a pitch black room. That's the level of brilliance she needed.
The energy around her would grow and gleam more and more as she pushed out her power, finally opening her eyes to see others from the cult taking notice of her and starting to shield their eyes.
This...this was the level she needed.
With sweat dripping down her forehead, Medea would extinguish her power, panting softly.
As long as she used that amount of power in a quick burst, it would be both a surprise as well as keep from being draining.

Veil- Medea creates a ki flash that explodes from her body, causing blindness for one post. Though disorienting, it does not affect someone's ability to sense PL.

She currently didn't have a weapon to call her own, but, Medea had already learned how to fight using a spear before. She still preferred it as her weapon of choice, but, until she had a new one, she'd have to make do with a regular stick. A really long one.
Medea would go through forms, stabbing, striking, and spinning the stick as though it were a spear. She'd move along to combining these strikes with movements of her body as she spun, jumped and ducked. Next, she'd practice the various ways she could block, deflect and counter, using the entirety of the pole.
It all felt familiar...like second nature. Somehow, when she shed her old life like a skin, part of her wondered how much would change.
"This is the one thing that shouldn't." she decided.
She could learn a new weapon and skills and finish her transformation, yes. Or she could keep this one thing and use it to add poetry to her revenge.
When she struck him down, the ghost of Andromeda should share in the moment...and then she could rest in peace.

She could have asked Krios how to do it, but, she didn't want to waste his time on something like this.
Medea had watched him fly before. Based on that, she could likely figure it out. Everything always came back down to channeling your energy in some way, fine tuning it to fit the result she wanted was the hardest part.
As Medea controlled her energy, always having had a rather innate talent for this control, she imagined things she connected with flight. Lightness, purity, clarity...anything that would make you feel airy.
Unfortunately, Medea didn't seem to find much inspiration from it. It seemed to work enough to lift her slightly above the ground, maybe an inch...but the stability was not there. What was the problem? Was it that she didn't connect with these things? If she didn't believe in it, she was likely not giving her utmost effort either.
What then, could lift her up? Take her to newer heights? Make her fly without scoffing at the very ideas behind what would cause it?
Her thoughts shifted as she considered this. What lifted her form death's grip was determination. A thirst for vengeance. The thought of taking back her power...that was uplifting. Being surrounded by those who shared her ideals...married to Krios. Those things kept her on her feet, and, inspired her to raise higher.
As her intense emotions filled her chest, she felt herself lift up higher. The power behind her feelings seemed to leak into her ki output. She raised up high, and, as she gazed back down at the world below her feet, she smiled.

While out patrolling, Medea had been notified of a suspicious person around the compound. No one recognized them and they seemed to be trying to stay out of sight.
Such a thing was a threat to the happiness of their people. Any danger needed to be dealt with...and she intended to prove she was diligent and proactive enough to have earned her place. It would also afford her bonus points with a certain someone.
She began by trying to sense an energy that was unfamiliar...but she couldn't find any. After some time of this, she was beginning to believe this intruder might already be long gone. That was no good. Who knew what secrets of knowledge they may have stolen.
Becoming more worried, Medea became more hyper-vigilant, noticing almost...too many things. Luckily, it would also cause her to do a double-take on a woman walking by with a cloth over her head and a veil concealing some of her face. The attire wasn't too unusual...but even with the little Medea could see, she didn't recognize her.
Medea would follow after her slowly, her eyes narrowing as she realized she couldn't see her energy at all. How could that be possible? Was she not real? Medea would quickly put a hand on the woman's shoulder and the woman would turn around startled. She was real, alright. Flesh and bone. Then...how?
"A-are you alright miss...?" the woman would ask.
Medea wouldn't answer, her eyes boring into the woman, searching for her energy. As the moment became more and more awkward, the woman seemed to become nervous and for a split second Medea saw a trace of her energy before it faded again. That was enough however, and she followed the energy until it was all revealed to her.
"Suppression..." Medea would smirk before grabbing the woman by the throat.
"Arrest her."
Now she had a new idea...

"Teach me how to do it." Medea would say, standing before the woman's cell with her arms crossed. The woman would look back at her angrily, especially offended that Medea would even consider that she'd help her.
"Are you mad? You ruin everything and now you want me to help you?! What's in it for me?!"
"The potential of redemption." Medea would shrug.
"What if instead of punishing you for spying, we offered you rank within our community? An easy life for the rest of your life. You could even wed our Lord Krios to attain the highest prestige."
The woman's eyes would widen.
"All that to teach you energy suppression?"
"I am nothing if not ambitious. If this gets your cooperation, I can arrange it."
"Fine. But I get to live like a Queen, got it?"
Medea would nod.
The woman would sigh before looking Medea up and down.
"Alright. For me, it's all about making myself small. I almost think about weakening myself. If that doesn't work, think about...hiding, even. Or giving off nothingness. You get it?"
"I think so." Medea would say, brows furrowing as she closed her eyes. She tried to do something of a pushback of her energy. Like the opposite of powering up. She tried to think of the output a statue would have. Nothingness. Like the woman said.
The woman would watch her still.
"Almost there. I can still sense you, but not as strongly."
"It's hard to comfortably consider it weakening myself." Medea would grit her teeth.
"Fine. Then think of it as concealing. You're not weaker or small. You're hidden."
That...struck a chord with her more.
Finally, Medea reached a point where the woman couldn't sense her anymore. She was also able to do so without having to concentrate so hard on it.
"There it is." the woman would smile. "You can't be traced. Well...not unless someone's trying to do so specifically."
"Right. I may have learned that the other day."
"That explains it." the woman sighs.
"Anyway. How long before I'm out of here?"
Medea would smile, hitting her stick on the ground twice so a guard would open the cell. The woman would smile back, stepping forward.
"What is your name, sister?" Medea would ask. The woman would tilt her head.
"Oh. It's Clotho--augh!"
Medea would impale the woman through the chest, her smile fading.
"Thank you for your service, Clotho. You are no longer of any use."
She would let the woman fall to the ground bleeding, walking away with a serious look on her face.
Did she really believe she was worthy? Or being a Queen? Of remaining here and living a carefree life after what she'd done? Truly naive.

With her new abilities, Medea decided to have a bit of fun for once. Getting along with her sister-wives hadn't been a high priority for her, however, she did get along with Harmonia a lot better than with Aella. Aella and her were a bit too similar in their goals, it seems, so that was most likely it.
Perhaps a little bonding time could fix that.
She'd been following Aella for a while, pleased to see her ability to suppress her energy was working. The woman was none the wiser, and yet Medea could sense her from a mile away.
Someone needed to catch up.
Brandishing her weapon, Medea would suddenly pounce on the woman, the two wrestling a bit until Medea ended up on top, her spear pointed at her neck. Aella would grit her teeth, glaring up at Medea.
"What the hell are you doing!?"
"Just playing."
"Get off me!"
"Concede and I will."
"Excuse me?!" Aella would look at her like she'd never heard something more absurd. Medea, in return, would poke her a bit with the tip of her spear.
"Concede and I'll get off."
Being caught unprepared, Aella had no choice but to. She'd concede in annoyance, and Medea would get off her with a good-natured laugh.
"Don't be angry. I learned something new, recently. I could teach it to you, as your sister."
"No thanks. Whatever it is, I can learn it from Krios." she'd wave her off, starting off towards wherever she was originally going.
Medea would watch her go, her smile softening until it was gone.
"Such an ungrateful sister."

Medea practiced once again on her own, twirling her spear as she focused on her movement while carrying it rather than strikes with the spear itself.
Being a particularly long weapon, it towered taller than she was and for that reason it was at times difficult to gauge the space around her. A wrong move meant the spear could get caught on something above her. She could also accidentally hit someone else if she held it sideways. The spear demanded space, and she wanted to be especially aware of that space.
While she chose a secluded spot, it was one with obstacles all around her. She practiced moving her spear more and more swiftly as she traveled back and forth past said obstacles, making extra sure she hit absolutely nothing. Not a single scrape or tap.
Eventually, the movement became second nature. She understood the exact reach and how to fluidly move such a long object without impeding herself or anyone else.

Her training had been paying off. Medea felt confident she could best any other woman in the compound. EASILY.
Pleased with herself, her training had a different air for once. Instead of appearing serious and focused, Medea seemed...easy-going. She had a smile on her face as she spun her spear, her movements more graceful and dance-like than filled with precise strength.
She felt like she could be a bit more lax today and actually enjoy herself.
Rather than striking, Medea spent more time twirling the spear and spinning in left, right, behind her back and all other manner of playful 'training'.
It was this lack of discretion that caused her to make a mistake. A child had been watching briefly and suddenly called out to her. The intent was praise, she was sure, but the sudden grabbing of her attention had her forget to focus on her spear.
The object would slip from her fingers, spinning towards the small child. Medea's heart would skip as she reached out for her spear, the weapon already far past her reach.
"No!" she'd yell.
Suddenly she'd feel something extent from herself. Like an invisible arm she could stretch further and faster than her own. It would suddenly snatch the spear in mid-air, stopping it from spinning completely and holding it in mid-air inched from the child.
The little girl would gasp, staring at the spear before looking at Medea. Almost like she wasn't sure if she was alive or a spirit. Touching herself, the child would quickly realize she wasn't a soul. She was alive and well.
Medea would pull the spear back to herself, gripping it tightly as though she feared it would slip away from her again.
Then she'd look at the child.
"Are you alright?"
"Yes ma'am."
"Good. Then go home. This is no place for a little girl."
"Y-yes ma'am."
Watching her rush away, Medea would glace at the spear in her hand. It seemed it was far more than an extension of herself than she thought.

Her tournament fight had been a perfect way to practice the new abilities she'd learned. Unfortunately the discrepancy in might gave her the advantage. Not that the Namekian hadn't given her any trouble. No, he'd fought very well.
It gave her room to ponder what to teach herself next. Her first thought was a pushing force.
Creating her spear, Medea would swing it back and forth as she considered the movement. With enough energy output, she could create a concussive force to blow away someone getting too close. Or perhaps many someones.
Taking a strong stance, Medea would hold her spear in both hands, concentrating on creating an energy around her. Then, after a moment, she would spin in place, letting the spear blow the energy back like a massive gust of wind. Every light thing around her would suddenly fly back, leaving a circular 'clean' spot below her.

Bouquet Toss- Medea spins her spear around her, creating a strong gust all around her and blowing back anyone weaker than her PL+15%.
