His home was destroyed and there was nothing he could do. Robbed of justice by the so called God's of this universe. God's who didn't just stand by and watch the destruction of his world, his people, but actively caused it. As if his people were a threat to creation. His people were peaceful, simple farmers and warriors who wanted nothing to but live in peace on their own world. And they had been robbed of that. He had been robbed of it and so much more.
Robbed of much of his strength, strength that he could use to avenge his people.
Robbed of everyone he had ever known or cared about.
Robbed of his identity of a proud warrior Race.
The Namekian's were no longer warriors, they were refugees. The small handful of them that remained hiding on a distant world. This disgusting planet called Earth where even the Sun would not shine unabated. A dreadful place of green grass, blue skies, and strange technologies and cultures. He was a stranger in a strange land, and even amongst those of his kind that remained he no longer felt like he belonged with them. He had seen to much, he had been touched by these Gods and cursed with knowledge of the truth. Cursed with a quest to search for the lost members of the Dragon Tribe so that they could remake their Dragon Balls and create their world anew. But most of all cursed with the knowledge that even if he succeeded and Namek was brought back, his people were brought back, that it would simply be another whim of these God's away from being destroyed.
It was for that he lived for. While the God of Law had charged him with restoring his people. It was his own personal mission to obtain the strength to challenge and surpass these Gods. To find a way to make sure that his people, that he would never again be reduced to a mere piece on a board for these beings.
Where to begin though? He'd been on Earth for a little bit, having been kept in isolation until his rage had tempered, but he'd been to the Namekian settlement and what he sought wasn't there amongst the refugees. No, what he sought was hidden somewhere in the universe, hidden before the fall of Namek. And so it was that the Namekian sat by one of these.... highways (that were were not terribly high) watching the strange vehicles pass by. Though as the cars zoomed by in his mind eyes he saw stars pass by as he tried to imagine where the lost Tribe may be...

There were certain things she told her lawyer were required if she remained still and they were late on delivering the news. She looked over many aspects of the Namekian Refuge. Files and transactions going towards their care and she was to receive a full report of their time and supplies. When the lawyer would be late on delivering this months paper it was her first chance to blatantly leave the prison and see for herself.
Rhona saw Ki levels but she made no attempt to hide her own. She didn’t see the point so anyone keen enough to look was able to know she was coming. She had a tracker in her arm which was a stipulation they gave her for an event like this. Frankly it wasn’t something she planned on doing often and as she flew up to a high way she looked across it as the cars passed and saw one Namekian. She almost thought it an illusion. Almost a trick of the mind given a hopeful heart. She paused and watched him unsure how to react.
He flew off in a rage… what would he be doing here now? When did he even get here? A flurry of questions and the dumbfounded expression she had was plain as day.

Back before the destruction of his home he probably wouldn't have noticed Rhona. Flying above as she was and as absorbed in his thoughts as he was he probably would have just kept staring at the cars. Musing silently about what he was supposed to do, where he was even supposed to start looking to restore his people. He didn't know if the God's knew, surely they didn't or they would have either destroyed the possibility of the Namekian's return, or would have deposited him near their encampment. But he felt certain that Earth was not the right planet for this quest.
His thoughts were pulled away violently as he felt some kind of immense power rapidly approaching him and more importantly the Namekian encampment. Now with his ability to sense energy being so new he had no frame of reference of what anyone really felt like as an individual. But he did know that something powerful was responsible for the destruction of his people, and he was not about to let it happen again.
He wouldn't take the time to try and see who it was, there may not be time for that. He didn't act fast enough in the past, and he would not make that mistake again. He would bring his hands up, connecting his fingers and fingers and thumbs as he'd unleash a Ki Senkakkei blast at the power source from his position near the busy highway. Best to take care of the threat before it had a chance to react!

The wave of power shoved her into her. First form on instinct. Upon seeing it she actually thought it was going to hurt a lot more. She threw her hands up and took the blow it scuffed her arms burned some hair and definitely left some bruising while shoving her back on the gravel a bit.
When it dispersed she realized they got him too. They took some of his power too. If he had thrown that at her before it would have really done something serious. But there was no mistaking it… that was him.
“Limax!” She called after her voice pained as she released her form. She kept her distance across the highway however. It was a measure that if he still wanted to attack her she wouldn’t be pushing his bubble in a way.

His instinct was to follow up with another attack. But while her energy was something he was unfamiliar with, her voice however was something that he did know and he would lower his arms. Though the rested posture would last for only a moment before he'd erupt into the air to meet her, leaving the strange vehicles to travel below him.
"I was unaware it was you."
He'd say, not apologizing at all for the attack. But acknowledging the cause for it. Even now... especially now he needed to be vigilant.
"I believed you may have been a threat..." He'd say, his eyes hardening as the words left his mouth. "Are you?" In the past, he doubted it. But here on a world not their own, with everything that happened? Who could really say?

“A threat…?” She blinked and stiffened as she was about to tell him off, she pointed a very accusingly finger before breathing and calming down. “No… I’m not. A threat I came to check on the refuge. While you were off where I assumed flying through space in a fury of vengeance I took it upon myself to look after who survived with the help of Vo. In doing so I had to face my own crimes which I committed before the tournament which grounded me right here.”
She breathed again. “Since these months have passed I’ve received detailed information and news regarding this place and my lawyer is late on the recent updates. Saying his flight was delaying or whatever. All the while I’ve been planning on restoring Namek for when you got back.”
She hard stared at him. “I’ll never be a threat to you or yours, Limax… it like to think we’re still friends.”

He looked at the finger that pointed at him accusingly. His eyes narrowing as he considered biting it off, or ripping it off. The torrent of emotions still raging within him. His time had done little to calm the storm within. Outwardly he may have regained some control, but he still wanted to lash out. Everything was terrible and nothing would ever be okay again. He knew that as a fact to the core of his being.
"So you were given the quest as well?"
He wasn't sure what to do with his hands. But he would keep himself from transforming into his first form and escalating this for now. Though if that finger got more aggressive he didn't know if he would be able to contain himself.
"One never knows what will happen in the future. Not long ago I would have said that my planet would never be destroyed." He allowed himself a slow exhale, a futile effort to calm himself. "But I would prefer you to not be my enemy Rhona. I prefer us as friends."

She folded her arms and sighed relieved.
“I’ve not received any quest it was a personal goal…” I was going to wait for my weekly phone call to hit Vo up and ask for advice. If he didn’t have one I was going to make a planet on Ki and willpower alone. It won’t bring back what was lost but it might just be enough to give you guys a home again.”

"Somewhere out there lives what remains of the Dragon tribe. It is through them that my people's salvation can be found." His hand pointed up to the sky, and beyond the blue of the day, the countless stars between. And the endless worlds that the Dragon survivors could be hiding, living, and perhaps even thriving.
"We will live or die by my ability to find them, and by their will."

She grinned a bit looking at the sky. Then she looked at him with that same grin.
“Well I won’t assume you know more than me what is best for your people.” She nodded. “I hadn’t realized you already were on this path, the way you left when I last saw you I just kind of thought if no one else was going to then I would… but if it’s you then they are in good hands.”
She looked back to the sky again. “I realized on Namek that you guys care about each other a lot more than we do on earth for one another. You showed me that kindness. I was a Jack ass all the way until I realized I was losing everything I gained on your world. You know how I hate losing anything. I was startled when you turned… I felt I was losing you. Then I came home and lost the last thing on this planet that I truly cared about.”
“There is nothing but a crater where my childhood used to be…” she saddened her gaze. “I felt really alone… I grasped on to watching this refuge as a way to just hope there was something left to hold onto…”
“Right now while you have your Quest and I have mine yet to be known to me… I feel like we don’t have to do these things alone.” She looked at him again. “If you want my help… you can count on me.”

He didn't doubt it. From what he'd seen of this planet humans were a selfish species. Often putting the worst of his own kind into a much kinder light. Even with their caste system they were always one, working toward the whole. But these humans seemed to cut each other down every chance they got, and even with as well as he knew, or thought he knew Rhona he wasn't sure how much he could really trust her. How much could he trust her to go against what even she admitted was the nature of her kind. This selfish individualism.
Her offer was perhaps meant to be born of kindness, a hand to him and his people. But she knew what was out there, and by going out with him she would leave her own home unprotected against forces that may seek to do here what they did to Namek.
There was no telling what challenges he would face out there though, and humanity was not his race or responsibility. The Namekian's were, and if she would throw her lot in with them, he wouldn't stop her. He'd give her a single slow nod in acceptance.
"If you wish to help I would welcome the company. Though I have yet to procure a ship on this planet. And I do not have a destination."

“You sensed me coming didn’t you?” You probably sensed none other that. Matches our level in earth. I was told energies like ours exist beyond normalcy. We could take over this world on sheer strength.” She pointed out and then shrugged. “The problem is I’ve not any amount of interest in that but the bigger strength on earth is Money…”
“Think of what you could earn with the skills you have?” She suggested. “Could buy a ship no problem given some time. At least that be a starting point.”

He didn't really understand the idea and concept of currency. It's not something that he had experienced having grown up in a communal civilization. Coupled with the fact that his species only consumes water they had less resources, and need for more than many species such as human.
"I couldn't even earn the respect of my peers, I'm not sure how it would earn a ship here on this world."

She chuckled. “It’s soul less my friend.”
She pulled up her shirt to her navel and reached under and into her bra. Pulling out of it was a crinkled up Zenny just a few units worth.
“This can be obtained, objectively… very easily. It also helps you obtain literally anything given the amount someone asks… people have killed for it and people have saved millions of lives with it.”
She narrowed her eyes and looked away from him. “I killed the person who murdered my parents and burned my home… this can buy me out if I got enough of it. Completely wash me of all my crimes. It can buy you a ship.”

His eyes narrowed at the crumpled bit of paper. He was dubious to say the least that the paper held any real power and could do as she said. Or that it could cleanse a soul. As far as he could see there was nothing spiritually significant about the paper to allow it to do so.
"You say it can buy you out if you get enough of it. But aren't you already out?"
They were outside after all. And that said nothing about the implication that it could cleanse a soul of the stain of murder.
