With her landing, her hand started to glow...—
His combo hit as she was really too close to reliably evade, but, that glow came to be an orb.
Instead of the light grenade she planned, it was a simple ki orb that was fired off as her vision grew dim between the combined pain and her dwindling energy from having exerted herself so much.

"RAH!"
He slapped the Ki into the Terra, causing dust and dirt explosions. He would come spinning out of the them to try and kick her in the head to get that KO!

FINISH HER.
AIIIIIIIEEEEEEEEEE!
YOU WIN.
Like a scene from an arcade game, Okara's kick slammedhome, snapping his mother's face to the side with a crackle of pops down her spine that signified if nothing else, he'd make a fine chiropractor, perhaps. It had the added effect of slamming her into the ground. Her aura winked out, an apparent testament to the fact she was out cold.

His aura flickered and vanished, and he gasped breath. Doubling over, he planted his hands on his knees and sucked air, trying to gather himself. He was covered in sweat, and both his fists clenched.
"I'm nowhere near ready."
He'd move over to help his mom up to carry her to the healing tanks.

Keerie groaned faintly as he picked her up but it seemed more a reluctant shift of breath with the alternate position than her waking.
In fact, it would only be when he started to near his destination that her form twitched in the throes of her swimming from unconsciousness.

Okara kept flying but would glance at his moms face.
"Don't try to talk. Your jaw is busted. I'm getting you to the tanks...."

Bruised and well on the way to stopping swelling, now, Okara could see. But Keerie made no sound of protest...but gave a grim sort of chuckle, it seemed, at his words, when she finally figured out what he was saying.

He flew in silence for a moment.
"I didn't realize you got so strong, mom. I could....I could use your training."
He glanced at her.
"Even though I have raw power, I lack in battle tactics and fighting a war. If you came with me to Arkosia, you could make me like you and dad."
He glanced at her.
"I-if you want, I mean."

With his words, her initial apology came to mind. Truly, even though she hand't meant to, she had babied him. She didn't wish for him to have to learn the hard way when it came to tactics--which meant, she didn't want him to have to figure it out in the middle of a war, immortal or not.
Immortality didn't fix mistakes when other lives were at stake.
She moved her hand gently over her jaw, obviously considering making an attempt at a reply.
Instead she gently pat his arm.
"'a'er."
Definitely not fun to try and speak. Her jaw had stiffened in the time she'd been out, as well, and her mouth itself felt like cotton.
Later, as she'd tried to say, it would be a discussion.

He glanced at her, landing outside the ship and stepped inside, moving to the back to start the tank and set her on the bed. He'd turn his back and fold his arms
"It's alright. I can sort it out if you have other plans. I never thought I'd need to know these sorts of things. But....here we are."

Keerie's lips quirked into a bit of a smile. He really was a fine young man. She gave another soft chuckle within her throat at his words, and pointed to her jaw.
She could scour the ship and find paper and something to write with, but that seemed entirely too tedious for her tastes.
Besides, her mind was still foggy and she knew the tank would help.

He nodded.
"Yeah. Right."
He'd clear his throat.
"We can talk after the Summit. For now...yeah, you should heal up. Thanks for the spar, Mom."
He'd give her a little wave and turn to leave.

In lieu of her quickly getting up to give him a hug, Keerie stood with a nod and formed her hands into a small heart. Something she certainly hadn't done in many years.
She would wave in turn and move towards the tank.
Father and son had managed to keep her in check.
While she was proud - and thankful, at this point - she also felt the drive to be on their level as she settled herself and gingerly fit the rebreather over her face. At least that way if she passed out from the pain, she'd at least start healing.
