Even with her movements remaining constant she was late to see his blast and it knocked her off her pattern. Her arm took the most of the blow, She kept her ki flowing in flight but their was quite a bit of heat. Which actually was fine, she ignored it, she'd push through the pain like she normally did.
Clenching those well used knuckles feeling her gloves wrap around and in folds she'd zip to him. She'd hope to come low and rise ramming both fists into him. She was getting fired up, the worst part was how she did not get an answer out of him, it ticked her off. Obviously that meant there was something going on, she was not one to pry but for the life of her she could not imaging what it could be. It struck her that she hardly knew anything about Limax. Which ticked her off more... he was not to blame for that, she just was not sure exactly how selfish of her that actually was.
Neither one of them were ones to talk about specifics of their lives but she wanted to know what could be bothering him. She at least thought they were friends.

To her credit she kept coming at him despite the injury. And as she slammed both of her fists into him he'd stagger back a step as energy began to pile into his arms. Lashing out with both of his clawed arms he'd attempt to slash into her torso to show her what it was really like to battle a Namekian.

He was quick but her arms are out in front of her still. It was not going to be a complete miss the raging claws are going to slice through her shoulder. but first she will lift her arms up as it comes with in her reach and shove it the best she could in order for it to not be critical. It might have actually been a death blow.
Her grip on his arm tightened her ferocity would climb. "What did I do to you?!" Her body flushed deeply and maybe it was her panic response that triggered this but she was hot. Physically Unnaturally warm to the touch, body temperature climbing, sweat from her shoulders and brow evaporated.
She jerked his arm down as hard as she could attempting to pull him to the ground and give it a good twist to break it the human way. However she had no idea how strong she'd come into this move.

"Nothing."
He had told her that he wasn't going to hold back. He had thought that it was what she wanted. To add more injuries to her collection. To fight through pain. And now she was mad that he had done so? What was her problem!?
He wasn't expecting the sudden burst of strength from her and that surprise strength along with his distracted thoughts allowed her to bring him to the ground before breaking his arm causing him to cry out in instinctual pain Looking up at her his eyes narrowed and his nostrils began to flair as his own rage began to creep into his veins. A familiar toxicity calling to him from within.
Snarling he'd point his good hand at her, point blank range and unleash a beam of concentrated Ki energy at her.

She'd see the bright out of the corner of her eye and let him go to try and shoot herself back it was not enough as a hot beam went in a searing line from her stomach and to her neck and cheek. The force of it sent her flying the rest of the way to once again slam into a far wall of the training room.
She rubbed her already hot skin and noticed the rest of her. Still she refused to cool down after peeling herself from the wall. "How much do you not know about me? How much do I not know about you? Did I just assume... I thought we were comrades?" thoughts were not quite coming together in her mind she was not even sure if what she said made any sense. She'd take a nose dive to him once again. The plan was to flip mid-air and drop a leg to hammer down upon him. She'd like to keep him down if at all possible. but she'd already take position of her hands to develop another ball of energy.

"Are we not?"
Did she not want him to push her? Did she want him to handle her as he would a child, not a proper warrior. Was she bitter because he was stronger than her? Did she not know that only by facing challenges one becomes stronger, strong enough to overcome them. He didn't have doubts clouding his mind about what he didn't know about her, or what she didn't know about him. She didn't need to know his life story for this. She didn't need to know about his daily struggle to push himself, about every obstacle that he has had to overcome to reach this point. What she needed to know right now was what Limax might do, and how to counter it.
"If you wish me to go easier on you all you have to do is ask."
The power was in her hands, he could scale it back, or she could push forward through it. He respected her because he believed she was the type to push through challenges. To try to overcome the inherent weaknesses of her species. But she was an alien, he didn't know what kind of convictions they held. What values were closest to their hearts as a species. Let alone her as a person.
The pain in his arm was searing, but the pain was overpowering the toxicity and fire in his veins. He was in the here and now, and while she went flying backwards he was jumping back to his feet. His broken arm hanging uselessly at his side for the moment. And there she was, coming at him once more. Just like he thought she would. Another head on attack.
His good arm rose to easily block her hammer kick, but with one arm out of the fight for now, that meant he was open for another counter attack. If she could bring herself to do it at point blank range.

"That's not the point!" He held onto her and she just hovered in his grip.
Why was she really mad? that maddened more her that she was not sure. He was very strong and maybe she was scared of that. despite putting up a good face she got scared a lot and it brought her backwards. All the way back to Earth, the skeleton in her closet was talking to her, trying to get out. making her cower from the door she closed it in... Her hands went to her ears and she tried to drown out the noise.
This was so dumb! She jerked her foot from his grip and flew a few feet away. She thought she was going to die and something erupted so suddenly. She was behaving like when she first started her Ki blasts, they were wild, hard to control and when she lost that control there was a lot of pain from it unraveling. She was in the state of wild and uncontrollable rage and she needed to see why.
She breathed with her hands still covering her ears trying to calm her boiling blood. Reaching deep "I am a coward some times... I face my fears everyday, sometimes I get to one that is just a bit stronger than the others. Remember how I said I hated to lose? Back on Earth losing is another way of dying, sometimes it brings so much shame and humiliation people take their own lives. It is really easy to do." She felt something within her as she cooled down.
"I want you to not hold back on me... I want to show you that I will not give you a reason to, because I can be strong enough." Something came from her body a strange a blue glow and her body grew staticky. her head hung low as she lowered her altitude and removed her hands from her ears to look at Limax. "My shame and fear made me forget that. I am sorry for causing you so much trouble. My mind is clear now and my resolve is focused." She looked guiltily at his arm she lost control again... maybe that was not the first time it had happened. looking back she was sure that maddening feeling was familiar. Just not within her knowledge of use. This was something new though... she practically glowed blue and her eyes were lit up bright her hair rippled with static and energy that oozed from her body.
Finally she took off her jacket hoping to get better free flow of her movements. She hardly felt the pain from the slice in her shoulder or the burn that went straight up her side. She was ready to continue. This caused another spike of energy to wash over her that made her feel half as heavy as she was. Gravity was not pulling down on her as hard.

He didn't press the opening as she talked and worked through what she wanted to do. He wasn't looking for cheap surprise shots. Not now, not here. He listened to her in silence, letting her work through what was bothering her. Letting her admit that she believed herself to be a coward. How for her people losing drove some people to end their lives. A revelation that saddened him. To think that a people would be so cold and proud that they'd rather die than admit defeat.
Worse, they'd rather die than learn from defeat. He didn't want to say it was pathetic. But someone that would choose to die because the shame they felt from defeat was to much to bear, well they were to weak to ever hope to achieve real victory. He was pleased to see that Rhona was apparently made of stronger stuff, standing before him declaring that she didn't want him to hold back on her.
"It is no trouble."
He didn't understand what trouble she meant, and he didn't get the chance to ask as the energy around her began to shift into a hue of blue. Electricity almost dancing around her as her power skyrocketed. Nearly to his level. It was hard to tell just how close, she might even be stronger now. But suddenly the fight had become a lot more even. He grunted in response to this new development.
Shifting once more into a fighting stance. Modified to have his remaining arm closer to his chest, opting to take a more defensive role due to one of his arms hanging uselessly at his side. He was ready for her.

With that she was not going to say anything. Training was back on, and she was collected. Her stance came up and despite the new strange glow that came from her she knew it was apart of her. There was just a calm acceptance that settled in her mind. She was ready, and it was time to go.
Her feet were light and she bounced from one foot to the other, she'd move fast and bring fists forward making quick jabs at him. She messed up is arm. Despite knowing he can regenerate at an alarming pace she saw that he was not worried about it. Though she believed as well that only having one arm was not going to slow him down. Rhona believed he could fight her with both hands tied behind his back and not break a sweat.

Well he was certainly going to try to fight her without having to regenerate. The use of energy would be a possible waste of resources at her new power level. They were close now, and that meant he would need to keep going as long as he could. He'd gotten some blows in though, so it was possible her wounds would slow her down. But he'd seen enough strange things from aliens suddenly shifting that he was willing to keep an open mind on just what she was now capable of.
He'd use his good arm to try and grab one of her fists as it jabbed at him, squeezing down on her fist if he managed to grab it. Though her other hand would have free reign to pepper him with blows. However he wanted to reduce her mobility so that he could bring a knee up to slam into the burn along her side.
It was time to see what this new aspect of humanity offered.

He had a good grip on her hand but she was able to get a couple at his chest before noticing a foot come up to ram her side. She stopped her punches in order to defend her side. with her forearm she'd slam it against his leg feeling like she was not going to stop it but she'd allow it to come between him and her burn.
The grip on her hand was strong but she made little recognition to remove herself from it. In a way it kept it occupied. Once the impact was made and her body stood firm, he'd made his move so she'd attempt to shove it away. However she'd twist her hips back and bring a knee between them while she was this close and try to send it into his gut.

He grunted with the blows to his chest, feelings his ribs quake with each blow. She was definitly much stronger than she had been just moments ago. Faster too as she was able to bring her attacking arm down to defend against the knee going for her burn. More than that, she quickly struck with a knee to his own gut causing him to sputter out the air in his lungs.
Taking a gasping breath of air Limax shoved his weight forward toward her while her knee was up in an attempt to bring the fight to the floor and further reduce her mobility. And if successful he'd lean in to bite into her shoulder with his fanged teeth.

Rhona lost stability while her knee came forward more to bring another knee blow but he came forward on top of her and bit Deeply.
"Ack!" Her Jaw clenched stopping what she could of the cry that about urged to spring forth. She'd wiggle her other arm free from between them. She'd think about making a joke along the lines of "At least take me out on a date first." but she realized that Limax might either take this too literal or not understand what she meant and decided against it once her arm was finally released.
She'd pull a move that she felt a bit bad of but she tested her legs and there was not much wiggle room to gain leverage. She gripped his broken arm and squeezed with all the strength her hand could give. feeling the thick muscle give under her fingers and the already broken parts twist. She aimed to make him cry out and release her shoulder. She felt from experience if she knocked someone in the side of the head that caused them to clench a Jaw and biting down harder was not going to feel good at all.

He gritted his teeth to bite down harder at first when she managed to free one hand. Even when she grabbed his broken arm. But as she squeezed it and pain flared through his body his jaw couldn't help but relax on her shoulder as he cried out in pain. His fangs extracting from her flesh and his good arm releasing her hand. After a moment he'd attempt to compose himself his breathing becoming rapid and shallow as he tried to ignore the searing pain that was running through his broken arm.
The short shallow breathes gave him something to focus on as he began to build up energy in his good hand. The rest of his body doing what it could to keep her under him where she wouldn't be able to dodge this. She didn't want him to hold back, so he was going to trust that she was strong enough for this one.
Once the energy was built up he'd roll himself away violently from her, screaming in pain as his aim ripped it's way from her group, twisting and tearing his arm further. He'd extend his good hand at her, having the pressence of mind to aim it low toward her hips as he fired off his most powerful attack.
"Retribution!"

There was no time to move and the hot searing blast burned her skin further. she knew the past beam was going to heal but this one, not so much. That was it! She'd cry out and roll away from him, shuddering from the agonizing burn that cooked her flesh. Tapping the floor of the training room with a trembling hand she was basically surrendering.
Her glow faded and everything she gained returned to normal. All that pain made breathing harder but she forced herself to do it. using the cold floor to cool the hot skin the best she could. it hurt just as much as touching anything made it very tender.
"Good fight... friend I'm done... so damn done..." She gave him a shaky grin while softly talking between breaths. He got her good and she knew he was not giving her any quarter. That let her know she was getting stronger and that still felt like she should be happy about that.
