She was able to deflect the blow as she shifted to the side and lifted an arm. She answered his question with her words, but not with her actions. Passively reacting rather than forcing him to act at all.
"How?"
He asked as he shifted and spun in place, whipping an elbow backwards toward her face!

How, indeed. Much like before, Limax's attack looked more like a streak of green cutting through the air. Her own arm protested at the blow it took, distracting her for a moment as Atlanti tried to figure out the best answer to the question. She ducks as he throws the elbow at her face, hoping to dodge it. His question stuck - how would she do it?
She tries to back off before standing full again, turning to keep Limax at a distance for now.

She was able to duck under his blow in time, and when she backed off he wasn't going to let her sit around and ponder what to do. Though he wasn't going to go all out either. But he thought it best that she felt pressed against the figurative wall.
So he's send another one of his clawed hands at her, his arm stretching to cover the distance she'd managed to gain between them. Running away would only buy her so much time.

Staying apart wouldn't do much, a point Atlanti was reminded of as Limax stretched, doing as she had done. She wouldn't have time to overthink her way through, and running would only do so much. Limax was able to keep up with her without batting an eye, pushing the point further home.
Why was she running? She could feel the fatigue from using her strongest attack from the start, but then what? It was like finding a wall you couldn't break through. So why was she running from it? If she'd just run, she wouldn't be here, now. Not in this tournament, and not on Namek.
If she wanted help with training, why was she running from it?
Atlanti darted to the side and inhaled sharply and rushed at Limax's arm came forward, rushing him instead. She stumbled, but caught herself before hitting the floor before continuing what she started, hoping ot keep the fight closer instead as she aimed a punch at Limax's stomach.

When she moved to the side she ducked under his guard and closed the game. Striking his exposed stomach. And while it didn't do much to him personally, hardened as he was compared to her. He was pleased to see that she had stopped running and was striking back. That was a good start, and bridging the gap meant that she wasn't afraid of getting hurt when he struck back.
His arms retracted and this time he didn't strike back at her, instead nodding in approval. It was a good first step. "Glad to see you are hitting back. You won't stand a chance at winning the tournament if you are afraid to strike your opponent." He said with a wry smile.

Atlanti was surprised when the training reached the moment of pause, taking a single step back at his nod. The approval brought a small, even sheepish smile to her face that grew a little at the mention of winning the tournament. She shook her head.
"I don't know about winning, but I know I can do better." She nodded with a sheepish laugh. Having the tools was one thing, and getting used to using them another.

"All we can do is strive to do better than last time."
He said clasping a hand on her shoulder. He figured that was enough for now. he didn't want to wear her out too much, and he thought she got the idea. At the very least it was a taste of what it would be to face someone stronger than her. From what he'd heard the first round for her had been fairly evenly matched.
He doubted it would stay that way.

She relaxed further as the sense of combat faded, nodding again at his words. They were familiar in a way, though Atlanti was used to hearing it from someone else. She was better now than she had been before, and she could be better still. Atlanti wasn't sure who her next opponent would be, but she was determined she would face them, the point driven home.
"Thanks, Limax."

"It was a pleasure." He said with a firm nod. "You have the potential to be a great warrior someday. I am happy to have been a small help on that path."
It was true enough. She had potential. She was certainly strong enough that he didn't doubt she was Warrior Caste now. Her time on Earth might explain her current strength, but even then. She was currently as strong as many of the Warrior Caste, though not the elite among them.
