Vo had some time before he had to play mediator for the peace summit, so he decided to visit the arena. The stupid large dome that held contestants, family, spectators, pretty much everything was hustling and bustling with activity. Lang loved this sort of thing because he could mingle and identify whatever he wanted and be lost on the crowd He however sensed something. A life form he had been tracking on Earth for a while. Yet they were on Namek? He wondered if she had been drawn to the idea of the tournament. If so, maybe he could give her a push. He sensed greatness in her future, and he wished to see that happen before these stupid wars finally killed him. Rhona Hall

"Okay so I am damn lost..."
Rhona took directions from a couple of people about where the tournament sign up or set up might be and while she was at the arena as well some how she was lost. Beating the side of her head a couple of times with the palm of her hand she decided to back track. Passing many fighters she wondered if most were all brawn. Pointing her in multiple opposite directions got her no where. Going back the way she came she decided it might be faster if she'd skate by and around the bigger traffic. Using a small amount of energy she started to hover, leaning forward she pushed through the air. the Bo strapped across her back would flap with her jean jacket. the breeze could be felt across her work out gear.
It was a much shorter ride to the front doors than walking. To spot something in the next moment that was actually kind of unique. This person was about as human looking as they got and it was a bit more comfortable to approach him. "Hey, Pardon me but have you been here long? I am afraid I have no idea where I am going." She chuckled being kind of embarrassed at the whole thing.

She was near by... Now she was getting closer. He could see her! She was heading right for him, and now she is talking to him. SHIT SHE'S TALKING, PAY ATTENTION!
"U-uh, yeah. I frequently travel between Earth and Namek. What can I help you with?"
Sometime Vo wondered if fate was just a bitch, or if intentions really caused things to happen in the world.

"Sorry... ah pfft. Well I was trying to see if I could sign up for the tournament and I can't find where. I am not sure if you would by any chance?" She rolled her shoulders a bit, really hoping this did not have to be the fifth awkward conversation of the day. She already almost stumbled on her words enough at the begining of the sentence that she need to do a quick reboot causing the strange *Pfft* to slip through her lips.
And before he could get another chance to answer her question she stuck out an open hand initiating a hand shake. "I am Rhona, Human... recently arrived from planet Earth."

Lang nodded with the explanation, she seemed at least a little flustered from most likely talking to other people about this. Yet before he could get a word in she stuck a hand out to introduce herself. His gloved hand would accept the shake and he'd chuckle a bit.
"Vo Lang. Also Human. Uh, if you want to follow me to registration I'll show you the way."
He'd wait to see if she was cool with that before leading her towards the android controlled kiosks.

She gave a quick not. "Maybe that is for the best, I've not had much luck just being on my lonesome. You lead and I'll keep up."
Rhona was on the short end of average height but she'd have no problem keeping up with longer legs. It just came with the territory. However with her new flight ability she was much lighter and certainly had no issue. Maybe the new problem was just taking it slow for a change, it is not like she had anywhere to be. The enjoyment of flying however was something she really grasped onto. She'd allow him to take the front before talking again. "Has been a while since I spoke to another human, are you here for the tournament too?"

Lang would lead the way at a leisurely stroll, she was chatty and he was fine to answer. He was regularly around diplomats and other people where you had to be extra careful and extra fake.
"No, not this time sadly. I'd like to compete, but I'm in politics and a bunch of stuff is being talked over on Namek. So, work calls."
He'd shrug as he walked sighing heavy at missing his chance to join the tournament.
"So, miss Hall, what's the end goal, whats the reason for joining the tournament?"

Rhona did not think this guy felt very diplomatic. Surely there was more to him than that. She felt she might almost feel some kind of awesome spirit with in him. That and his next question was what got her thinking. To really have an end goal was not something she ever really thought about. But it was way better than what she had. After her story began things were pretty lonely and stifling and she really itched for a bigger horizon. Instead of living in fear she would be a wanted person she just up and left everything she once knew without a second thought.
Getting here she realized she would not likely win the Tournament but she had already felt herself grow so much and she really enjoyed that the most. "The Experience I suppose, never been off Earth and never known anything else but Fighting... when my parents passed I just really had no one to turn to it was not long after that I found a notice for this tournament. I just want feel what it is like to be alive again."

Lang would ponder her answer for a time. To experience, grow, and feel alive. Good reasons to move along in life seeking out challenges, and this tournament would definitely be a challenge. He could sense how far she had come from the amount of energy he last sensed from her on Earth to now, it was like a completely different person. She was close reaching the strongest human in existence. She could possibly even give a few Elite Saiyan's a run for their money.
"I get that. Seeking out challenges... Tell you what though, I can give you a great tool for your training. You know, humans gotta stick together."

"A tool?" Rhona thought about it and was not sure what kind of apparatus he might give her that would be. The slot machine of guesses started to spin in her mind. But this stranger was offering and Rhona was not going to be rude. "Alright I'll bite what do you have?"

Vo would think on it as they moved before nodding.
"Yes, I have two actually, you can pick one."
Vo would hold out his left hand palm facing up and an odd white solid energy ball with a warm glow would appear.
"This will help you train, causing an article of clothing to weight quite a bit, however it will make you stronger when you take it off."
He'd reach into his coat with his other hand and pull out a bean and vial of what appears to be water.
"This will make you stronger right away... If you survive drinking the water. A test if you will to see if you are worthy of power."

She looked between him and his gifts a couple of times. She was weary about these options, they seemed very strange. She had dealt with weighted ankle and arm wraps before, but not in many years. With her Father it was an intermediate practice for those that got past the basics and were serious about moving forward. The other option was what threw her off, it seemed too easy, and did not sit right. Still as often times she'd come close to an enemy they had belittled her and she had to prove them other wise.
The thing was, there had been plenty of times here on Namek where her own strength was enough. When it was not... she only ever wanted to do more. Could this be a much harder choice than she wanted to admit? Could she go for what her Father and herself call an easy way out? Or will she go a longer and harder path and find out what she might miss otherwise? She did say she was in this for the adventure... but there was another piece of logic in her mind. In her current state she was going to accept not being apart of a winning class in the tournament, this means she'd just be thrilled to do her best. What if someone took that away from her though? Some scumbag she would not be strong enough to fight, driving her face in the dirt in utter shame? There were lots of great fighters here from all across the Galaxy, she wanted to win or lose with dignity and honor.
She'd remain a bit calm but she found herself feeling quite guarded. Blue Pill, Red Pill... this was all very strange for her. "Forgive me if I sound skeptical or even disrespectful Morpheus, What are the chances I'd survive drinking the water and how much stronger would you guess I'll be? Also would this orb do the same thing as sand or iron weighted braces?"
((OOC: Sorry about the Matrix reference I so could not help myself.))

Vo Lang would lower his hands as he pondered her chances of surviving the water.
"Well, considering the last person to drink it and survive died a hundred years ago, I can't tell you your chances exactly, but I do know you are much stronger than that person was?"
Lang would shrug, waiting for her choice.

Here for the adventure... here for the adventure... she was prepared to go all in and she was prepared for a long journey. That was it, with out saying anything she took white solid energy ball with a warm glow. No mistaken that she felt he might think she'd chicken out of a brush with death. This was just the way she was taught, there are no real short cuts and strength is not in measured except with in herself. She wanted to become stronger but she wanted to know exactly how to do it and have the experience to use it.
She held it in her hand and it was very warm. She wanted to say it had weight to it but she hardly felt it maybe it had some kind of pull to itself. "Alright how do I make this work, any suggestions?" She'd hold a serious face but she was rather excited. You might even say her eyes would not be able to hide this emotion. She as always a bad actor and a bad liar, she was told her eyes always gave her away.

"Hmm..."
Lang thought over the question knowing full well the answer, but it was the way she asked. She was intent on making it herself, he admired that, she was gonna work for it and work for it through the blood and sweat.
"Pick a piece of clothing and press the ball into it. The piece of clothing will then weight a lot depending on how strong you are while wearing it."
(Rhona Gains - Guardians Weights: -15% PL while worn, +10% PL when removed.)
