It would take nearly a full 7 days of travel through the dark sea of stars, before the shuttle carrying the Markos family would settle down upon the green and purples landscape of planet Namek. This would be the first time any of them had travelled off their home planet. While Ios was certainly curious to see the new sights, his sister Myradin was ecstatic and was bouncing all over the place as their small shuttle arrived, Nilos stood frowning with his arms crossed, still salty at having lost in their little competition.
"Can you believe we are finally here!? It's so different than Myria."
"Nnnnh.. I don't like it."
"Loosen up, Nil.. You got sloppy and lost fair and square. Get over it and learn to enjoy life sometimes."
The doors to the ship would open and a handful of civilian Mythrosians would file outside to make preparations for their stay to enjoy the tournament that was to be held. Achillios would lead his siblings as hey set foot on new grounds. His radiant iris' glancing about at his surroundings. He would begin to navigate his way toward the registration booth, all the while examining the naive life-forms that inhabited Namek, while Myra whispered to him as they walked.
"They look kinda weird, huh?"
"Do not judge them by appearances.. From what I have gathered, they are quite a formidable race.. It is also unlikely that they will be the only ones participating. Observe and learn.. Fighting isn't the only way to improve oneself."
A black cloak concealing his body in it's entirety, only he hilt of his sword protruded near the back right side of his shoulder. Eventually after a short time, Achillios would find what he was looking for. Striding confidently toward the registration booth, he would settle his hands on top of it and lean over the counter slightly.
"Achillios Markos, Here to register as Myria's combatant."
Short and to the point. There was no sense in beating around the bush.

During the free time that he had that was not taken up by additional training Limax had found himself hanging around the grounds that would soon host the tournament. It was quickly becoming a hub of not only powerful warriors, but of exotic races from across the Galaxy. Truth be told it made him feel like he'd lived his whole life in some backwater planet far away from Galactic life.
But that sentiment wasn't fair to Namek. It was just his own life that had kept him sheltered from such sights, but that was a thing of the past as he now found himself watching the strangers from other worlds. Fantasizing about what their lives must be like, what their worlds were like. And what kind of trials they had to overcome to become as powerful as they were.
The one that had his eye now was a cloaked man with a sword over his shoulder. Very few of the warriors he'd witnessed seemed to carry weapons, so seeing one so armed marked him as unusual. Though whether that made him more powerful or weaker was beyond Limax. He mostly assumed it was a cultural thing, but even with that idea planted in his mind he couldn't help but stare.

At the registration counter a normal looking six foot male with green hair and nice green uniform would be standing. He'd give a smile as he said he was here to register. He'd begin typing into a holographic key board and then raise a device to take a quick snap shot of the male Mythrosian before him.
"Welcome to Namek. I am Leon Mark Two, Body Guard and Defense Android currently in service to the Alliance Forces to over see registration and general safety for the tournament."
As he finished his introduction he had already printed the metal ID card with his face on it.
"This is your pass, identification as a combatant, and room key. I have assigned you to a higher level suite to accommodate your traveling companions. If you have any questions?"
He'd trail off to leave the moment open for comment.

An android, huh? Never seen one in person.."
Ios would stare at the 'man' silently for a few more minutes, studying him as he stood there. If he hadn't been told, it was unlikely Achillios would have noticed a difference between him and a human. The silence would be broken as he looked over his shoulder and extended the room key to his sister.
"Go do whatever you two like, meet back at the suite later."
His siblings would leave and Achillios would prepare to turn his head back toward Leon, eyes catching the sight of a Namekian staring at him from a short distance away, ignoring it for the time being, he would indeed ask a question.
"Is there a place where I can get some training in before the tournament starts?"
After he poised his question, he would glance over his shoulder and stare toward the Namekian once again, a look of curiosity in his eyes.

He was paying little mind to the people that were overseeing the tournament, or the security forces that were helping to keep the peace. Not to say that he didn't try to remain vigilant at all times, but this was his own personal time and his best chance to watch for and observe the exotic beings from all over the stars. And for the moment that meant the one with the sword.
Though hearing that he had traveling companions, and seeing them as the fighter handed the room key to what he assumed to be a female of their race, his eyes would light up. It was very fascinating! This species probably had some similarities to his own if he was bringing a community with him to such an event.
He didn't think to stop staring at him as he pondered what type of culture the exotic warrior must be from. Rather he'd continue to watch him unblinkingly, even as his mind raced with a dozen theories on how they lived their lives.

Leon's eyes would trail to the Namekian at the door, his left eye blinking a small light within a few times as he scanned him.
~Limax, Farmer from **** Village. Attempting Warrior Training as per Elders orders. Fighting Level: One Thousand sixty.~
He'd look back to the Mythrosian and nod to answer his question.
"Yes, we offer eighty training cells that involve both gravity and environmental controls. They say it's strong enough to hold up to King Vegeta himself so you should be good to go wild."
Leon would stand and come around from the counter.
"If you'd like however I am always available for instructions on combat. That is also aimed at you, Limax."
The green haired male would smile and bow in a tradition meant for Warrior Caste Namekians.

Ios would listen and watch, as Leon came around the counter. He had all he needed now. A place for himself and his siblings to rest and ample places for him to prepare for what was to come. This security agent then offered his personal services as an instructor. Achillios had also learned the name of the Namekian behind him.
"I accept these instructions.."
I must remain vigilant. No sitting around, wasting time. I'm here for a reason..
Whether or not it was him versus the android or the Namekian, he cared not. He would do it regardless. It is the only way to progress forward.

He was taken aback by the android when it scanned him and not only announced his current power level, a number that still felt so low when compared to his peers. But also his name and his village. How much information did the android have on him? How did it obtain it? And why would he of all people be in it's database?
It was concerning and more than a little embarrassing. However he attempted to not show his surprise or concern. Doing his best to remain visibly unaffected as he returned the bow to the android. Surprisingly pleased that he was receiving this bow from the Android.
"If you would like I would be more than happy to assist you as well."
He wanted to know how the warrior would use the weapon. And as long as it was within the training facility he had little worries about danger to the surrounding area.

Leon would have to check his programming again. Seems his scan was audible again, a common issue recently. He has been very busy and unable to really keep up proper maintenance recently. However both seemed willing to train which was good, so it'd be more fun this way.
"Excellent, please follow me."
He'd lead them down into the dome's interior below the arena and surface where the structure turned more human in nature due to Namekians not really going underground very often. A long corridor would lead to an underground complex with many pen space arena's trapped in what looked like glass, each one holding it's own eco system and geometry style from barren dessert and tundra, to city landscapes and deep forests.
"Any preferences? I am partial to the rain forest setting. Though the elation of blowing up a building is fun."

When instructed to follow, Achillios would do just that. Still casting an occasional glance toward the Namekian as they moved. He couldn't help but ponder what his was capable of, he had never had a chance to see one in battle. He supposed he would soon find out.
When he followed Leon through the facility, his eyes lit up slightly when they approached the different arenas. Never had he seen this many different terrains smashed together, with a choice to which ever they wanted to use. It didn't matter to him really, but it would be interesting to fight somewhere he had never been able to before.
"Matters not to me, I will leave the choice up to the Namekian- Limax.. I apologize."

Hmmmm, he'd never used these things before. Always opting to train above ground in the wastelands of Namek. He enjoyed the real world enviornment, but he also understood that with so many people here for this tournament, that may be less possible than it otherwise would be. In that sense these training stations were quite wise.
"Perhaps one that would be similar to the arena of the tournament would be best? It would allow you to accustom yourself to the size restriction of the arena you will be fighting on?"
That seemed more useful than rainforest or urban. At least for the immediate situation.

"Sounds good to me!"
Leon would make a few turns before reaching a room that was an arena styled room. There was a square raised ring in the middle and three walls spaced evenly from the arena and grass surrounding the arena to count as out of bounds.
"This is rather similar."
Leon would open it for everyone to enter and close it, once it closed the glass blacked out so no one could see inside, then from the inside an image of sky and back ground would appear to give the illusion of open space with a random door sitting there where they came in.
"Should we use tournament rules then?"

Achillios would nod in agreement with Limax's suggestion to fight somewhere similar to the arena in which the tournament would be located. This would do perfectly, not to different than the fighting rings in which he grew up training in. It was a little larger overall, an not a circle. But there was a decent area to move within.
"Tournament rules, or not. I do not care. Growth will come regardless."
To be honest, he was unsure what was to come. He was either fighting the Namekian or the android, or possibly Limax would be on his side. Or he was fighting both at once.. He supposed it wasn't worth dwelling on, he would find out shortly. On the outside, he remained stoic. On the inside, he was a little excited.

"I would like to use the Tournament rules then. The restrictions may make things interesting."
He'd say after a moment of consideration. He didn't really know what the rules would be, but if he was really going to compete, as he was seriously considering doing. Crossing his arms he'd wait for the android to go over what the rules of the fight would be, and thus what their restrictions would be.

"Then, tournament rules are as follows. No outside weapons, no killing, if you touch any surface other than the ring you are out. I'll act as the referee and judge the match. After the bout I'll tell you where you need to improve and show you how. Sound good?"
Once both fighters would agree or not he'd move them to the arena and have them stand on opposing ends.
"Begin when ready."
(Go ahead and skip me until you finish the fight.)
