After learning to suppress her own energy, it occurred to her that others could do it too.
Bastards. Trying to hide, are they!? Well we'll see about that!
She had already learned to sense power levels. Obviously she just needed to learn to do it...MORE! Something like that. Maybe the answer was learning to sense things that shouldn't even be sensed. Like...an insect or something! Most of them aren't very strong!! Most.
Onyan took to the forest, glaring holes into every insignificant bug she could. The smaller and weaker...the better.
Nothing.
Fine. Maybe she needed to start with something that even had the possibility to emit a power level. So she searched high and low for a space wasp. Those things were aggressive, pissed, and hurt. If anything would show some sign of power it's those!
Approaching a nest, Onyan concentrated on them for HOURS...trying desperately to sense...well anything. Sometimes she had to leave and come back when they found her first.
Some few stings and forest destruction later...she was back. In fact...the parts where they showed aggression...helped. She felt some form of energy from them. From there she just had to refine and refine until she could start sensing almost nothing. From almost nothing, she'd become sensitive to all levels of power. Hidden ones should be a piece of cake from here.
Proud of herself, Onyan practiced the day away until she found a space ant hill. Lemme tell you the backlash she felt from feeling thousands of little power levels all at once practically knocked her out.
"That's...enough sensing for today..."

It occurred to her that what often happened was she expended her power too much.
The move she relied on most always took a LOT of energy, and if she used it twice she was pretty much finished. That made things a bit...difficult.
She had to try and improve how much she could do. She also figured she'd need to learn a new trick or two so she doesn't immediately rely on her big finisher so much.
For the next few days, Onyan would find an empty spot and train the length of time she could fire a rather regular qi blast. As the days went by, she did notice she was able to do it longer and longer at the cost of...passing out in the woods for a bit. Oh well.
Next, she would do the same but with abilities she knew were more taxing on her. Again, it took days, but she could eventually manage it more and more.
Finally, it was time to try and train crescent moon.
That...took longer than days.
Over and over, doing it a second time made her collapse. It came to a point where she wasn't sure it was possible to do it more than that without putting herself in danger.
But she persisted.
After some time, it seemed like while she was tapped out...she could at least remain on her feet. She was still able to use abilities as long as they did cost too much energy. It was...an acceptable improvement. She couldn't do it more than twice...but she wouldn't be at the mercy of her enemies if she did. She just...wouldn't have much left in her than a mean to run away...which wasn't ideal. But it was something.
With that settled, Onyan would continue to practice her energy spending with easier attacks, eventually coming up with a beam she could use to hopefully push other beams back more effectively. One that was much stronger than the one she tries to use against Maiz's final blow.
"I think...I'm ready for bigger challenges now." she'd smirk to herself, sitting down with a content sigh.
It took a long time, but every fight earned her a lesson. One she intended to try and correct.

Ki Control - Able to use more Ki without as much fatigue.
Developed - Nagareboshi (Meteor) - Onyan charges her energy separately in both palms before bringing them together and firing an energy beam! +15% PL

Life was getting boring with all the same ki blasts all the time. She needed variety! She needed things for different situations!! What if she had no hands!?
"That's a good starting point." she'd nod sagely to herself, sitting down and putting her hands behind her back. Then she'd start trying to think of where a ki blast could come out of.
Her tail? Nah, too risky. If it gets grabbed before that she's in trouble. Fine, maybe her feet? Eh, maybe. Rather than a blast from there she'd rather just do a regular kick, though. She'd come back to this one as a last resort.
Onyan would wiggle side to side, trying to get a sense for what she wanted to use in a situation like this. A mouth blast sounded horrendous. As an ape, that's one thing. As a person? What kinda weirdo uses a mouth blast? That's like shooting it from your nose or ears! Just WEIRD.
"Oh! But an eye beam could be cool..."
Yeah...
YEAH!
If she's being grappled or something she can just do a quick eye beam to their face! There's probably other practical uses too! She can't think of them yet...but there surely is!
Alright. So Onyan would start meditating a bit, closing her eyes as she practiced her ki control. There would be nothing worse than blowing off her own eyelids, y'know? Had to keep that energy under wraps.
Once she felt confident enough, Onyan would try to bring the energy to her eyes. It felt...weird. But in small doses, it was alright. A tiny beam would flash out from her eyes, making them water a bit. She'd rub the tears away then concentrate again. More energy to protect her eyeballs then...and then...fire!!
Onyan would let loose a larger beam, letting it crash through some rock on the side of a mountain before blinking and turning it off.
"Whoa!!"
That was...pretty cool!
Which meant now she was going to eyebeam stuff for the next little while.

Learned- Gekkou (Moonbeam)- Onyan fires a quick ki blast from her eyes, doing her PL +10%.

Today, there was no real goal. In preparation to go to Plant and get the jump on one of their scientists, Onyan wanted to make sure she was in fighting shape.
She began with stretches, then would fly laps around trees to keep her accuracy in tip top shape. Weaving and building up speed, Onyan would only stop when she felt at ease with how quickly she could register what she was flying at.
Once that was done, she'd fire energy beams for as long as she could, double checking just how much her reserves allowed for. She didn't want to over or underestimate just how much she could use in the case of a fight.
And lastly, to cool down, she'd practice forms and strike at the air.
"That should do." she'd exhale, frowning a bit as she thought about what had happened in the last while.
"I'll get them back for Anise. And I'll get them back for what they did to my brother."

With the time for their plan quickly approaching, Onyan decided to do much the same as last time.
But underwater!
And she HATES water.
First she needed to work on holding her breath down there, so she concentrated on keeping her panic under control as she sat at the bottom of a lake. For her own comfort she sat with her arms and legs crossed...then tried to hold her breath for a long period of time.
It was torture.
It didn't become easier either. Actually quite the opposite. She did however manage to hold her breath a bit longer the more she practiced.
So with lungs burning, she dived down one more time to start sending punches and kicks against the resistance of water.

Leaving was taking a bit longer than she thought.
No matter. Just more time to become unstoppable.
It was a full moon, and Onyan decided she'd transform to see how it felt to control her ape form. She'd only done it one other time, and even at that point it felt like just about anything could make her slip.
Her body would become covered in fur as she grew larger, feeling a rush of rage fill her mind. It was the rage she was barely keeping within her, likely...but not amplified.
She could control it. But despite that she wanted to just release everything. In this form, it didn't feel childish. It was normal. Great apes caused destruction...and right now she wanted to do nothing but that. She'd break rocks with her fists, take down trees with a swipe of her tail, obliterate anything in the path of her mouth beam. Just release all her frustrations and tire herself way out. There would be no time for emotional outbursts once they were on Plant. She needed to get that out of her system right here.
Every time she felt like she may be growing tired, she found a second wind. It was a quick night. Once she barely remembered when she awoke in a patch of dirt. A crater, even. One she'd created in her 'rampage'.
In a way she felt better.

She knows she called Maiz a freak about the whole tail training thing...but...she was running out of ideas.
And she was curious.
Sitting in her room away from any prying eyes, Onyan would bring her tail and lay it on her lap watching it briefly as she works up the courage to grab it.
Just...uhhh. Just ease into it.
She'd start by just kinda grasping her tail. Nothing wrong there.
Then she slowly added pressure just to see where her pain threshold was. Let me tell you, it's not huge with the yelp that would suddenly threaten to escape. She'd catch it in her throat before looking down, mortified.
How the hell did he go through with this? This is awful!
But. She was no bitch.
She continued to torture herself on an off until she could handle a firm grip on her tail. It was uncomfortable...but not debilitating. That would have to do.

"I can feel it...I'm close to reaching as milestone." Onyan would tell herself, having briefly traveled to another planet to fight against strong but definitely weaker creatures than her. Part of it was to challenge herself with multiple enemies, part of it was to blow off more steam. Because she had sooooo much steam. All the time. She was grappling, blasting and punching the hell out of EggBears , the creatures aggressively coming at her as she stole their eggs. Some of them got some hits in...but it only fueled her anger further. She'd punch harder, making sure to use her ki the least she could so she could feel the satisfying crunch of her fists and kicks connecting with the creatures. As much as she wished it lasted longer, the tribe of creatures would eventually run out of members... Onyan would collect the eggs, collect some meat, throw it in her ship then move on to the next tribe...

TODAY ONYAN IS LEARNING TO TURN HERSELF INTO A BOMB--
Just kidding, even though she'd blend right in with saibamen.
Which is kinda what she was doing. Having planted one, Onyan as training against one of those little freaks since as much as she hated to admit it...she was only kinda stronger than it. So if it decided to blow up that could be a bit troublesome.
A bit.
He wouldn't dare, it's too cheap.
She would exchange blows with the little green guy, dodging a few beams before it expelled poison at her. Onyan would narrowly dodge it before looking offended.
"HEY! You little freak! Now I'm gonna kill you!"
The saiba would screech, though if it was anger or fear, it's hard to say. Onyan would charge a beam to try and blow through it, singing off its leg and causing it to go wildly flying at her.
The last thing she wanted was this lil plant dude latching on, and by the looks of its extended arms, leg and claws...that's what it wanted. She'd crouch and stand her ground before suddenly shooting a beam through her eyes and through the creature...the body falling limp on the ground.
"Ugh. It doesn't know how to spar!" Onyan would complain. "It's just an idiot just working off instinct!"
How similar they were.

Onyan was growing impatient. She'd give this one more week before taking matters into her own hands!
But for now it meant needing more distractions.
The tiny Saiyan would head off to a planet where a specific fish lived. They were definitely many times her size, lived deep in the water, and were super slippery to it made just grabbing one really hard.
But...they were her brother's favourite...
Holding her breath wasn't too big of an issue, but, the pressure from going so deep into the water was definitely uncomfortable. She had to dive again and again, looking for the elusive thing. Luckily, on her 27th dive, it just found her instead. A shadow grew larger and larger from behind her, and, in a moment she was just swallowed whole. The large fish didn't even bother chomping on her with its many sharp incisors.
Now in the belly of the beast, Onyan would start trying to blast her way out, only to find that basic beams were NOT penetrating the thick flesh and scales.
Pissed, Onyan would start unleashing her slicing beams, slowly cutting through until the fish started to violently wiggle about. Unable to fully keep her footing, Onyan was tossed back and forth, making her more and more nauseous. She started firing more Mikadzuki in any direction, desperate to kill it and stop the madness.
And...finally she did.
She'd grab what was left of the fish, swim back to the surface, puke a lil, then drop down on her back...totally spent.
"Damn it...I wanted to bring back the whole thing..." she'd mutter, her eyes feeling heavy.
"Guess...a small snack is better than nothing...."
What was left was enough to feed a whole village of regular people for a few days.

Following her eventful day, Onyan would retire to a room for a bit, looking to get a head start on learning to control her green form.
Or at least being able to even tap into it. Her memory of it was so fuzzy...but she remembers rage. And a sense of injustice that wasn't entirely her own.
In an effort to not accidentally blow a hole in the ship, she'd meditate to try and refine her control on her ki again. It was like being back at ground zero. A child needing to learn how her own energy works.
She'd let her energy flare gently, tracing the source and feeling every place it expelled from. Nothing there seemed wrong. She had to, then, reach deeper. Where she'd felt different. Where she'd felt the feelings and changes.
It made her shudder, her power exploding out a bit more.
No. We're staying in control.
Onyan grit her teeth, trying hard to keep the intense feelings at bay. The desire to crush everything around her. To let loose and just lose it until she had no more energy to do so.
She could feel it start to grip her mind, and Onyan tried to push it away...but eventually it became an obvious losing battle and she quickly let everything dissipate.
When she opened her eyes, she was panting on the floor...no recollection as to when and how she got there from the bed. She'd roll onto her back and stare up at the ceiling, sweating and exhausted.

The emotional toll was weighing on her. She always knew what pissed her off and why. She always knew why she ever felt sad or a sense of injustice. This? It's like it was locked behind a fog.
She hoped there'd be more answers once she becomes stronger.
So for today, she wanted a distraction.
"A new move." she decided, plopping down on her bed and looking down at her hand. So far she had a pretty good variety. Most situations were accounted for, she figured, so maybe if she put more energy into a new move, she could perhaps combine two of her other ones.
After a while of thinking, she settled on a mid-point for her finger blades. She liked using it but it drained her quickly. She also liked the homing aspect of Meteor shower...but with more power they could be more threatening.
"A homing...cutting...ability..." she'd mutter, summoning energy into her hand as she tried to mold it into something. A crescent? Sharp edges...but too much like Mikadzuki...
She'd glance out the ship window, her eyes widening as she noticed a planet with several rings around it.
"A full circle..."
Groundbreaking.
Onyan would create the ring, keeping her distance from it as she refined the sharpness of the energy's edges.
It was already draining...there's no way she could make several of these at once. One would have to do.
All that was left was the test. She found a random decorative piece and set it as her target, then, launched the disc to the items left. The energy would swoosh in that direction before correcting itself and swooping to slice through the object.
Luckily it dissipated after hitting its target...the last thing she wanted was for it to slice through the ship.

Following her and Maiz's brainstorm, Onyan would work on trying to perfect her bouncy shield. She knew what it took to make it, and, to be honest it took a LOT of energy. That alone had her considering that she wouldn't be able to do it often.
She didn't want to really think about what would happen if it couldn't hold up against the attack coming her way.
"I doubt it's impenetrable. Maiz wasn't using very strong attacks when I first tested it." she'd mumble to herself.
Creating the shield once more, Onyan would fire a regular blast out into the open before quick stepping in front of it. Once the ball hit into it, it would once again bounce off and fly out towards a tree. And then another...and another.
"Hold on...did it get stronger when it bounced back?" Onyan would blink. She could swear it felt more powerful on the way back...a little bit, anyway.
She'd do it once more, quick stepping and and bouncing the energy ball back as she sensed the power output.
Indeed it was a bit higher.
Onyan would let the shield dissipate, panting as beads of sweat dripped from her forehead.
"Useful. But definitely a last resort...or combination attack."
It could definitely be dodged. And she felt real spent after doing it the first time...that second time actually made her vision blue.

She needed to take a break from her new form. It had been a stressful journey and honestly she'd never even considered learning something like healing.
She needed to take a break from it for just a little bit.
Onyan had come up with quite the arsenal. Range-wise she was pretty set for a bit. What she wanted more of was answers to close-range issues.
"Maiz has a like...hand sword." she'd murmur, looking at her fingers and wiggling them.
"I'll have a knife for every finger..." she'd grin.
And why stop there?
Claws for her feet!
Channeling her energy, Onyan would focus twenty small sharp beams coming out from her fingers and the others forming something of an energy "paw" over each foot. She'd set her sites on some of the local trees, swiping at the bark to watch as it sliced through it easily.
Then a few kicks to get used to how it collided.
She made quick work of it.
Not satisfied, Onyan would fly off towards Earth's mountain ranges, finding a large dinosaur roaming about. She'd use the claws to climb up the creature's back, causing it to cry out from the pain before it was quickly silences with a hard kick to the head. As it fell, Onyan would scratch at kick at it's body at maximum speed, the dinosaur barely hitting the ground before it was shredded to ribbons.
Onyan would smile in satisfaction.
Rations and a new attack. A good day.
