Now it was to come to her attention some thought on her recent mindset. She understood certain aspects of mortality which were apart of their lives. But she didn’t understand perspectives.
Life and death were fine parts of the grand universe. But she ached seeing the mortals suffer. And she realized she had no idea prior to this what Suffering was.
So what was Suffering?
She searched the world and began to see obvious signs of suffering. Cries and screams of pain and sadness. It broadens to point out the quiet suffering that came with people not sleeping or starving. The nightmares one might have at night which brought them terror from the experience that weighed on their shoulders.
What could she do to truly understand this?
She felt when she did she might understand the true reason and limitations mortal existence takes.
She remembered what she said when she became a guardian
“… the afterlife is a good and peaceful place. I can’t imagine not wanting this for those we love.”
She realized she Cheapened life somehow. She cheapened all the things they accomplished and fought for didn’t she? Kyber was tipping the Balance and causing the shortened life of what could be countless mortals to achieve some Rebellion against his Divine Half.
She realized her own kind really failed him. They should have taken in the boy and let him amongst us. Or so she believed. He could have learned a thing or two and maybe even his mother might still be alive. That’s what she thought.
She pondered however understanding she still didn’t have all the answers and points of view to this situation. And how she has two Dragon Balls on this planet which Kyber clearly has use for.
He suffers at the cost of others and is only making himself suffer more to the point there might not be any way to turn back.
She felt she needed to understand suffering. Her eyes closed and she would steel herself and began her studies on the subject.

Suffering mortals suffer in everything.
She concluded.
It’s not so simple is it?
They live in suffering and they can find success in it. This gives them meaning, this gives them hope and motivation.
What was the point?
Life, To live?
She commended the lives she looked over for finding that strength every day. A hundred years is a long time to them when to her it was not.
So If she had that point of view to go on they had less than a hundred years to live. And they thrived.
For the Kaioshin however, could they become jaded and detached from this reality? Maybe it was new to her but to her elder and more experienced Guardian Kai’s could they be hardening themselves to mortal suffering?
No, she realized that wasn’t right.
That was the price to pay if they didn’t want to get too attached.
This struck her as a good hypothesis and would note it down as her thoughts sprung up.
She had to note to herself that she was going to outlive all these mortals. Who knows if beings like Majin or Androids would even come close to her Kaioshin life expectancy. And who knows what Lacrim was on.
The planets memories she saw put his time line on this planet near two hundred years ago. She was unsure how old he was or how old he will be. Maybe he was one of the mortals who had achieved a level of immortality.
This too was a decent hypothesis, it needed some more work however.
She would delve into more studying on suffering in the mean time.
Her current conclusion; Any good soul willing to fight for life she’ll find a way to support them. Any good soul willing to help even at the acceptance of Death she’ll gain a great respect in their choice and them as mortals. Any good soul who wishes to be pulled from darkness she’ll offer her hand.

Her eyes were dry, puffy, she was exhausted. It’s been weeks in this study and she was nearing her limit on how much all at once she could take on watching the suffering happen.
Mortals have to hunt but sometimes don’t realize what they hunt may be leaving behind a life and that young budding life would fall prey to a predator who is would feed its young lives. Then maybe one of those lives was not as strong as another and does not survive its siblings overpowering strength and it’s gets abandoned. Accidents happen which leave mortals with tragic endings or forever different. She can’t change these things.
She still can’t decide if she wants to harden her heart to them. She can’t make up her mind if she can be the guardian they need.
She knew life had to move on with these unfortunate things it was just nature. She knew this she absolutely knew this is true. But to watch them struggle so was not what she had in mind. Heaven was a wonderful place but the hurt they face before getting there and the fact many fear facing it at all.
She needed a moment. She exited her GMS and squinted at the bright light. She summoned over with the wave of her hand a burner and her tea box. With another wave it was all placed on a bench. With a few more the burner was plugged in, turned on, water was poured into a pot and placed on top.
She would sort through her blends to decide what she really needed right now. She was certainly not expecting this to be apart of being a guardian. She could use some guidance. With that she felt it best to confide in friends down here and above.
… After some much needed rest.

She had a small orb of light floating which would be joined by a couple of others as she stared into the sky on her back in some cool grass. It was becoming dusk and she was enjoying life as it is simply. There was no torment or suffering in this time. The point of view of the mortals who can choose to be oblivious to every overwhelming threat and pain that may befell them from around the corner.
Yes through mortal eyes she rested playing with the serene magic of this world.
When she had a thought.
She sat up and considered what she was contemplating and wondered if it brought harm to others. She decided that would not be the case. It would however become an enhancement of mastery in understanding energy and using it.
she would ignite her energies and feel the magic wash over herself like if she was submerging herself and sinking to the bottom of the ocean. It was such an enveloping feeling she felt so at peace and it brought her calm. The lights were also called into her being and she glowed with a dim aura. A small smile was brought to her lips. It was the first she had smiled in some days.
She understood Ki and she understood magic she familiarized herself with physical energies and psionic energies as well. Each of these had a seed of what she knew and she would touch all of them in her mind and hone that thread to weave into her knowledge. Her magic pulled at these slivers of wisdom. And they opened op channels which would converge back into her magic wellspring.
The familiarity with these types of powers will be the kind of window to allow a certain amount of their potential to pass through her and channel it back into the world as magic energy. She’ll not horde such energies within her. She felt she could feed the world with this and help it thrive. Maybe it will make the world a stronger and healthier place which will ease the suffering of those who dwell on it. Nature was nature even at its ugliest, she could not stop that no matter how sad that made her. But maybe. Even if a creature would pass let the magic ease their suffering as they return to the earth and as their spirit becomes one with the heavens.

She looked to the sky from the sunroof of her GMS. The world played its tunes and she watched them through her mind but her eyes saw the sky.
She felt something… there was about to be a change. Maybe a shift in the universe. She was not in the Heavens to see a broader scope but she even could hear whispers of what the living souls on Plant would say. Hints of reports which may lead to a broader issue.
Other planets could cause a stir on Plant as well of course. Its inhabitants were militant after all.
She ignited her usual orbs of light. Ones that didn’t do much but there was a sense of fun charm to them. She loved making them dance when she was in high spirits.
She imbued them with her will. Making them take shape. A pair of crescent shaped wings on a dainty body formed and they held a brighter glow. Their semi corporeal forms came to view and she made many more until she felt tired to just see how much she could make.
They looked a little like her and held her gentle purple glow she saw herself through their eyes. They giggled sweetly and danced with each other playfully. Some whispered to each other what she wanted them to say and she heard what they said as an echo of her own voice.
Each one could be snuffed out from the average person. Thought she wondered and hoped to consider who would want to when a friend fluttered to visit providing a bit of light and warmth.
She dissipates the magic and the room goes dark even with the natural light of her GMS. She returns to a state of watching but this time with a calmer mindset.
Nen wants to learn: Fae Echoes- a small magic light given purpose. Each version of this spell is no stronger than 300PL. They provide light and Nen can communicate through them.

She felt the struggle of her instant teleportation. Well it was her body still remembering certain actions to use them with Ki. This was not efficient when she should be using them with magic.
Channeling this power should be second nature now but it’s about redirecting herself to strengthen the old channels of energy and filling them with new paths that house magic better. It did not omit her use of Ki but maintaining magic energies would require her not flip flopping back and forth on the two.
So she would get started. Putting a cup of tea on the table she would give rise to her magic and let it fill her to the brim like the cup before her. She would sense it filling the pathways where Ki was dwindling in its use and fill those weakening paths with Magic. It was as if a dam opened in a river which would need releasing. Her muscle memory would know the power of Instant teleportation and with Magic overpowering her Ki she can give this forceful power to release into the ocean of her new spell and from her sea…
…She vanishes…
Only to appear once more with the roar of a concert below her. Up beat music and screams of jubilation filled the height of the roof.
She found herself at the Galactic girls concert where she would watch their show filled with wonderful lights and music that would pop beats and lyrics of joyful romance and happiness.

Nen would come across some old notes. Notes from a few thousand years ago when her studies would take off. She flipped through them and they were moral notes on kindness and life. She remembers she had trouble grasping this class. Now that she was more matured Kaioshin she began to see just how much…
Every life…
Every…
Life.
She was told to consider every life.
In her notes she saw the question she never understood why she got it wrong on the test. Her teacher fought her.
The question went…
“A wicked spirit was being protected by mortals. This wicked spirit gave these mortals power in return of their service and enslaved them for if it dies then so do they. Are these mortals worth saving from the clutches of this great evil?”
Of course, she’d say yes. She wrote the longest list of reasons why but it was not enough.
But every mortal life was worth protecting. So… why she got it wrong she never understood. Her teachers reasoning was because the wicked spirit would have to take priority. That the lives were secondary for the greater good. That their fates were sealed by the choices they made.
The next class she was told about the wonders of the afterlife and felt. Maybe her teacher was right, maybe it was ok. Because Heaven was a wonderful place. Heroes and kindness were a reward and that was what all their efforts would come to.
In this imagery shaped her point of view and mortals who believe in it.
She thought constantly “every life”. Because even with her past point of view in the matter she wanted to try and save every life. She truly hoped fate would aid her with this. Mortals were heavens creation and she felt that meant they were worthy of this right in equal measure. Maybe in some ways it was the wrong answer but it didn’t seem like she was capable of making a choice to take the easy way out.
Maybe that was stubborn. Not entirely a becoming look for one who would be considered Divine. But she worked hard all her thousands of years to get to this point. She felt a modest amount of bullheaded will was needed to stand one’s ground in the world.
Her hands would replace the notebook where it was found catalogued in chronological order of her years of studying. Then they’d meet in a prayer that would say something like:
*Heaven was a wonderful place but let those on this planet. No, let mortals of this universe, have the blessing to choose it for themselves in their own time.*
It was a tall order of course. But not every mortal chooses the suffering they must endure. But for their strength she hoped they receive a little light in their dark days. A little sleep in their restless ones. A little bounty in their barren ones. Finally, A little Heaven when they have to face down Hell.

Nen was making a documentation in watching a pack of Canines bask in some sunny weather. She sketched them out as they played and ignored her presence.
We’ll all but one.
Now Nen was a fair distance away and she was quiet and still but she didn’t note one which would spot her from behind and approach cautiously. Not until it was right within a couple of feet of her position. She heard it by that point and slowly turned her head.
It was weary and in a daunting stance but it was only sniffing. It was young but reaching into adolescence. It paced around to the side of Nen as she sat really still. She saw the scars in the spaces between its fur. They were new and yet well healed over.
Nen smiled at the pup knowing who it was. She had occasionally kept track of its progress after her first healing spell would bring one from the brink of death.
It paused and searched her with its eyes before continuing back to its family. In a quick pace. That was a wonderful experience she just had. It was the first time this creature saw her since that day.
It brought her back to cases where she could note that the suffering others in this world had to go through. Some lives did not have Nen swooping in at the nick of time. She couldn’t be in a million places all over the globe preventing what would be considered Fate or Nature. That would most certainly be too much involvement. But watching that cub grow into what could be a grizzled protector of his own, she confirmed again that a little involvement could just as much be in the strings of fate as anything.
Now involvement can also be the fact she spots a pair of locals readying their hunt for the sport. Nen was unsure if they wanted fur or meat but they were obviously not without their own sum of wealth by their appearances.
She took care to hide herself a bit more before placing her hands on the ground she imagined a shape in the Earth while magic built in her body. She built up a rather large mass of it and brought forth her vision. From her did her magic shoot into the ground and pushed up slabs of stone in many layers and twists and turns there was a perfectly paved entrance and exit in a small shaped maze. Surrounded by these walls the hunters exclaimed and the canines were startled. They each would scatter to safety while the men collected their wits.
By the time they’d try and figure out where the power came from or how to deal with it Nen had ported back to her GMS and would watch their reaction. It don’t take them long to navigate the maze. I mean Nen didn’t want them to get lost for good but the distraction was enough for them to lose a trophy.
She looked at her handy work and a small maze it was made of firm ground. She could build off this.

So Nen danced and cleaned. She would listen to the world around her. Something was indeed happening. She could hear plans and delegates discussing the possible changes sweeping the universe. She would wonder if anything would truly change.
She decided on a course of action and in a moment she would concentrate a blanket of magic which blew her gentle ripples in her clothes and flew between her toes. She felt it shift the baby hairs on her head and she was lifted from the floor instead.
With a duster in hand she reached some out of sight messes. She realized the neglect she hit behind some decorative glasses. But no more as she danced some twinkling toes from one top shelf to the next and would even sweep around the sunroof. She popped it open and saw the pristine roof top of her GMS and felt the cool breeze that swept the land.
Up she went and high she reached. Almost to the clouds before she let go of that hold on her power and would feel the free fall with her eyes closed. It was a bit scary but she would assure herself this was the much needed calm she had to have to know this power.
And she would open her eyes, turn over, and dive right back into the window to stop with her face inches to the carpet. That magic swirling around her again. She was still able to fly with grace and ease with Magic energies just the same as when she powered this ability with Ki.
She turned herself upright and smiled proud of herself.

Nen will channel her Earthen affinity today. She had been doing well shifting the land in a few forms but now she was in the process of changing it.
By adding simple steps she can completely change the matter of which she possesses.
From sand can become stone and stone can become sand once again. From sand can also become Glass as well. And with her magic she balled up a handful of sand and began swelling her warm energies to change the common grit into something equally beautiful.
It would burn and glow and shrink as her power pressed and turned the material into itself. She would see its inconsistencies and temper its weaknesses. Until it took shape into a small crystalline ball. She could have just easily made this from her ring, heavens know she has done it before, but she was thinking universally. And somehow she felt more proud to have worked so hard and see her efforts bear fruit.
Oh the glee in her eyes and the darkening of her cheeks. She smiled and hummed a satisfying note with the marble of glass she created. She found the finest sand to do it too so the orb was as clear as a drop of dew.
She took a stance and built magic in her entire form. With a swoop of her hand she brought forth the sand she collected but added it to the dirt as well, a basis to start her practice. And with that swoop and collected power she shot forth a jagged wall of crystalline glass. It flowed with her purple aura it pulsed with her magic.
And with all that power still residing in that Crystal she shaped it higher and curved it over until a wave that was deep seated in the ground and stood a great and wonderful height above.
She giggled imagining future residents of Plant looking at this marvel of nature and wondering what caused it to form where it would be Nen who knew she was creating but a stepping stone in her history as a guardian. May it remind her of her youth and forever humble on her beginnings.
Nen has further developed her skill in the Element to shape the Terra of Plant: Crystal Make her magic becomes the formula for enhancing the properties of the land into taking Crystal forms! Application of this magic uses Nen’s PL+20%

Nen was reading a few books as she watched over her Plant. She was almost peaking over the shoulder of the mortals and she saw an interesting story. Which the person reading it was reading relatively quickly and turned pages before Nen could finish.
“A force to be reckoned with.” She half joked. She was Divine so the fact that mortals could read so fast marveled her. These beings of great creation would impress her all the time. Truly their limitations knew no bounds. And even the little things which most would believe just basic unthoughtful needs or necessities would be seen to her as all the little details in the brush strokes of a bigger masterpiece. Truly mortals were beings she appreciated.
From small critters to the large creatures to the smart and advancing Tuffles her eyes were seeing everything.
She sipped tea and her gaze perked to her GMS because three small Tuffle young adults began to approach.
“Yeah she’s like a Weird Hermit Witch!” One with a blue scarf said.
Weird Hermit Witch? She sighed a little. That’s the most blunt description she had heard said out loud. Kids really had no filter.
“Go, do it! Hurry and do the thing.” Another with a blue scarf… actually they each wore blue scarves. Then she remembered who these kids were.
The third who the second spoke to held up a sticker. Knowing them they were about to tag her GMS with their group.
They were junior level students learning the Tuffle technologies and in a league for a competition. She watched them and started to create a spell where she sat.
They would begin their approach and she focused a previous spell to build walls around them as they were feet away from her GMS.
They screamed and fell amongst themselves as dirt walls surrounded them on nearly all sides. Her Labyrinth spell would freeze them stiff and leave them collecting their wits giving her time to open the GMS catching their attention. They’d see a sparking purple circle appear around them.
She held her pinky and her thumb touching at the tips forming a circle.
They’d realize that whatever lies they’d want to come up with they were compelled to tell the truth before Nen could even ask anything.
“We wanted to put our team emblem on your home to hope it brings us luck in our next competition.” The one that blurted it was being grabbed by panicked hands of the other two to try and get him to stop talking but they were too late.
Nen giggled. “Is that all? Oran, Duran, Aplee… she said each of their names. Two were brothers anyway. “Vandalism is not a kind thing to do… but for your bravery, hand me your scarves.”
They looked at each other and started to take off their cool blue wrappings and each one of them handed the cloth to Nen.
“Heavens above, hear my prayer. Bless these Mortals with a bit of luck in their next competition.” She prayed out loud.
She then handed them back.
“With hard work and dedication you won’t need this Blessing but I hope it clears your mind of any fog of doubt so that you may see the road to success.” She smiled wide with the sparkling wide eyes of the boys coming to terms with what just happened.
She broke the spell her fingers held and the sparkling circle disappears. She also with the wave of the hand lowers her dirt walls back seamlessly into the ground.
“Thank you, Miss Guardian!” They’d each say and run back into town.
She waved with a bright and wide smile.

She moved to a different location the one she was at was getting a bit of attention after the children she prayed for. She went back to the beach area for a while the one where she learned to manipulate sand. In the distance a large metal structure was left abandoned the skeleton of an old piece of equipment which faced some hardships until it was rendered useless and forgotten about.
When she arrived however she noted something different as there was a bad smell and a lot of dead fish.
Now she searched her memory of what the GMS might have tried to show her of what happen and it was subtle so she looked it over. But apparently some old fluids would leak from the machine and begin to sicken the environment here.
“Oh heavens this won’t do…”
She would muster her energies of telekinesis but it would not budge much. She could carry heavy weight items but this was a delicate and rather buried machine.
She would start with removing the sand and even creating a dame of it to hold on whatever else might leak out.
Then she had a thought, metal was a terra material, she decided to try and feel for its manipulation. It was honed and much denser than sand or top soil
And this one had many working parts. She was going to need to take care of each of them to move this hunk of junk from the ocean edge. Taking a seat she would concentrate.
She would rouse her magics and coerce the metal to move and it resisted immediately. It had been here resting and unchanged for so long it was going to fight her.
She wouldn’t give up however. She would feel sweat bead on her brow and back of her neck. She wove her power into all its working parts and swept away the years and dirt. In an attempt to loosen its movement she filled the machination with her power and with great force she reinforced her power to lift and push it. The rust fell, the gears groaned, and creaked as the machine screamed to life… kind of. She stood and continued to push it and push it until it was standing tall on a hill far from the oceans tide.
She breathed heavily when her magic released. Her hands on her knees she would catch herself and raise to throw her head back so she might inhale more air letting out an exhale of satisfaction. She began to take off her robes and let down her hair.
Under her robes were wrappings she deemed traditional to swim in. She would take a moment to finish cleaning up the remainder of toxic water by filtering it through the sand and she carried the dead fish into deeper waters for nature to find its way.

Vast waters and the world below them are so different from the world above. She would have to view it from her GMS. All the lives in a denser space where she can’t even take a breathe. It was so tranquil.
Her time by the beach is a pleasure she realized she was far too relaxed!
She raised from her seat and went to go wash cold water on her face. Apparently the swaying off the ocean waves really does wonders for putting one to sleep.
She would keep the water running and put on a pot for some tea with good focus and energizing properties.
She has been doing a little bit of studying but even that she had felt herself waking up from small naps.
She opened her GMS door and looked out at the ocean.
“Hey you making all that beautiful noise… you are a great and powerful force which sings the most wonderful lullaby.” she pointed to it with a firm finger. “Stop it!”
She grinned at her self for her silly antics but she felt she would wake up a little more with the view of the sun and the smell of fresh air.
It took some time to boil the tea and when the kettle whistled she was already preparing a mid-day snack spread with her tea selection.
She set the tea pot on the tray and carried it to her table. Her studies were a refresher course on mortal moral values.
It helped her remember just what she as a guardian was supposed to do. Mortals were amongst the creations made by the Ancient Kaioshins. Before the blessing of creation was withheld from future believers. She would write in a notebook a bit of thought on her previous studies. She’s obviously followed a similar course to the great morals of life. Like North Kai said they truly were not too far from these mortals. Being a Guardian may be one of the most grounded divine jobs. But maybe it’s one of the most advantageous positions to grow. In her notebook she would write something along the lines of this…
She could spend an eternity looking at all their flaws and contradictions wondering why they were made this way? That was not an answer she was going to get but her continued studies so far have indeed proven much in the idea. That a creation from perfect divine beings doesn’t have to be perfect. And even better they are still growing. Sometimes they take steps back and other times they move forward. Maybe history repeats but it never forgets. What has happened is already written and what will happen still has yet to be determined. It all matters even if they don’t know why, or can see the end result.
She really could learn from them. Even she a perfect divine being can evolve into something more.
She stopped writing and would drink some tea. Her own spirit has indeed grown from where she started. She was feeling full of life and love.
She placed a hand over her heart feeling her love herself and the mortals on this planet. Even the ones with wicked hearts and the ones who would suffer. They can do better, they can grow stronger. Nothing is definitive.

How far will Nen get with her magic?
The power within the Terra of this planet was within her grasp.
She would sit and train her mind to handle an expanse of land. Her GMS would sit above a solid pillar. Along this beach side would be evidence of land and cliff that had been carved out by time and the strongest statures of land were left in pillars.
Many of these raised arches and stone towers were ready to become a solid training ground for her to build herself in the Terra Firma affinities. From within her GMS she would see the world and all it’s worth. She opened the Snail head which split down the sides as if it was a big mouth. It exposed what was relatively the same as the control room and her bedroom all the same. But from here she can work through the Roles of her Guardianship as well as focus her abilities.
She ignited a bout of magic and felt the gentle balance in the sediment below her. She would caress the weak points and like a web she would weave her magic to dig under and around a solid form of level stone and she would strain to lift.
But lift it did.
With her GMS on top she at its front and below her a slab of land on top a pillar of Terra surrounded by ocean waves and voices of the world. She held it to strengthen her focus and magic. She would try this exercise for the next while to eventually see about moving bigger pieces of land.
Even if this world would see itself split maybe she’ll have the power to keep it held together and mend its wounds.

From time to time she request for herself a bit of time to dedicate some stretches and something to get her blood moving.
She was having her morning caffeinated tea with some light breakfast nibbles as she wrapped her swim wear. A very traditional wrapping of cloth around her chest and waist which draped down the front a little.
Something had become of her feet in her time here. She dedicated herself to becoming barefoot while being Guardian and no doubt the first while it was difficult. But she noted her soft and delicate feet were hardened and calloused. She did have her own routine to keep them clean, soaked, and exfoliated but none the less the terrain has taken its toll on her souls. Hardly a feature a Divine would usually have but she was growing past these feelings.
There she was pulling her wraps comfortably and snuggly around her body and finishing her last bit of breakfast and tea when she would walk out onto the beach. The sun was well above the horizon but the ski still held that early morning orange glow.
Her focus would be tested again but in a more paced setting.
She stretched to prepare herself a bit more. After she felt decently warmed up she would prepare herself for a jog and a surge of magic would circle around her.
Her labyrinth spell was going to get some use as she began to run towards the ocean. It was a slow pace at first but as she it the waters edge she would ignite her power and straight pillars of sand would rise just under the waters tension. It would not break surface but her feet would smack the water and be met with an accurate step of the sand pillar and behind her it would crumble below as her magic would release from it and focus on the next step.
The water got deeper and the pillars below the water got taller. Her focus got harder. She would train her body and mind to repeat each step until she began to feel out of breath. Which was honestly not very far. The little bookworm had much to grow in her physical condition. She was not pudgy by any standards but she. Was soft and like her now hardened feet she felt it was time to keep up with the rest of her responsibilities.
She stood still holding her magic on one pillar as she caught her breath. If anyone saw her it might look like she was standing on water. She was holding her magic focus. For that focus was ahead of her physical ability.
When she felt she was rested enough she would jog back to shore the same way. She would repeat this process for a few rounds. And be completely warmed up for the days tasks.
