"That's more than mine."
Zero states matter-of-factly.
"Do your power suits make up the difference?"

"I'd brag that mine does. Most of our suits average out to about one thousand. The technology isn't quite there yet."
She would nod with a sheepish smile knowing that she was bragging about her own power.

Zero tilts his head.
"That seems like a statement of fact rather than...'bragging'."
At least, as far as he could tell from his experience.
"If your technology can give someone a higher power level, could it do the same for those who have an existing power level?"

"You could say we are a selfish people. We shared our technology once and openly, and it caused a mass exodus and years of struggle and turmoil. We learn from our mistakes and so we do not share our technology anymore. But, the answer is yes. If someone with Ki used our power suits they would be enhanced exponentially."

Ah. That sounded like a no, then.
"Understood. I am looking for ways to improve upon myself, and thought to take inspiration from the technology of this planet. That, however, seems to be impossible."

She would think for a moment.
"Well we do have a sizable Android population. Maybe you could talk with them instead?"

"Why?"
He asks, confused.
"Are they more capable than you are?"

She would shrug.
"I'm sure some are. But, if you want to advance yourself, I feel like maybe other Androids can help? Maybe ask them what upgrades they have, or why they chose to become Androids for hints? What's your job by the way? Don't most people who become Androids do it for a job or to replace organs, or any other number of reasons honestly. Sorry, I'm trying not to be rude, um... Why did you become an Android?"

That's so many questions. Many of which he didn't have the answer to, so instead, he'd focus on what he knew.
"I don't have a job. My task was to discover how life is lived, and how to achieve perfection. I have always been an android to my knowledge, as I have no memories prior to when my creator was murdered."
Not that he's apparently holding a grudge.
"I did not have a choice in becoming an android."

"Oh? Well that explains a lot. We could probably get some clues if we hook you up to one of our maintenance bays. As long as the info isn't corrupt we can probably learn some more about you."
She was slightly concerned about him just existing with no parameters beyond seeking perfection. But, it's not like she had to know how to put them in place. Seemed he had about as vague an idea as anyone else would anyways.
"I honestly don't think perfection is achievable though."

"I'm willing to undergo maintenance."
If only to make sure he wasn't damaged in the crash landing on this planet.
"You are the second person to mention that perfection is unobtainable. What is your reasoning for it so I may compare?"

She nodded.
"Alright, let's talk on the way to a station."
She would hold a hand to the side to signal for Zero to walk with her before she started leading the way.
"So perfection is a concept. Something or someone that can operate without fault. It can happen for a little while, but nothing can do that forever. Mistakes happen, accidents, circumstances, there are an infinite number of variables that can interfere with perfection. To achieve perfection you'd have to control all of that all the time, infinitely. That would be beyond tiring even for an Android."
She would let that sit for a moment before smiling and nodding.
"I wouldn't want perfection though. I feel like it would be boring."

Zero falls in step beside, keeping her in his peripheral vision so he can tell where they are headed or when they arrive. Her answer wasn't quite the same as the Guardian Nen's was, and the difference makes him him consider it briefly, processing the information on different levels.
"So you believe perfection is infinite control, essentially?"
That certainly was far more effort than he would expect to have to put forth.
"Why do you believe such power would be boring?"

She would tap her chin with her index finger at his first question.
"Yeah, I guess so... But, as for why it would be boring, can you imagine never being surprised by something? Knowing the answer to everything? What would you even look forward to? Half of the fun in life is discovering new things or learning something you didn't before. I feel like perfection would leave the excitement out of existence."
Another turn of a corner before they came to a building with some sort of business being run through it.
"Here we are. This is a business run by Androids, for self maintenance and upkeep. I'll basically just be here to help you this time, but you should be able to do this on your own in the future."

Intriguing. That was a conundrum of sorts.
Zero gives a small nod at that, then stops in front of the building with her. He glances over again, putting his hands in his pockets.
"Do this on my own at this business, or on my own in general?"
Because he figures he can probably learn to do it if he sees what happens first hand.
"...I also have no money to pay this business."
