| Any tree can drop an apple. I'll drop the freaking moon! | |
Flying was still a bit exhausting to Sho, unfortunately. Having only recently calculating how to use the skill to his advantage, it still needed a lot of refining before it would be practical in combat - or anywhere else, really. As such, he frequently found himself flying around the planet, making laps around Shibuya and other cities, further and further away from each other. Slowly but surely, Sho's control over his energy improved, and with it came more and more capacity for further and faster air travel. That being said, Sho was a daredevil, and that was far from a good thing. He always pushed himself a lot further than he really needed to go, and it always bit him in the ass. He never really learned his lesson, though - and that's how he ended up plummeting towards the ground, having run out of Ki for the trip. Zetta son of a bisector! I didn't calculate how much I needed to get back! Sho realized on his descent, and while he would desperately try to engage some kind of second wind, he would run out of time and collide with the ground, giving an " Oomph!" as he collided with the ground, leaving a crater on the sidewalk where he had landed, admist a bunch of people. Groaning as he pushed himself off of the ground, Sho ignored the abject stares of confusion bding aimed at him and instead surveyed the area around him. By my calculations, I left Shibuya heading out at 100 miles per hour heading somewhere east, so... Sho paused, realizing he didn't even know there was a town in that direction. " What the heptahedron!?" His hair dramatically flairs up as his vision darts around. " One of you nanometers tell me where the fractal I am!" Sho irritablu demands, staring down his little audience. ▲ Sorry if this is a bit of an awkward start! And, if there's any glaring spelling issues, sorry! Phones are hell.

Kiwi was walking about looking at a list of things Momma asked her to get in town. With every step she took her goofy headband with a small green springy antenna bounced as her baggy overalls dragged the back of her heals. She heard some shouting split seconds before hearing a loud boom and crackle of the concrete near her. Seeing a man rise up from it raised some red flags for her and she as well as other people went to examine what happened.
He spoke words she was not sure exactly what they meant but that just raised up more flags for her. Was one of those the name of a shape? "Man... I think the real question would be where did you just come from?" Of course she had her suspicions...

Sho grinned as Kiwi approached and actually said something to him. At last, someone willing to give him their time of day! "Man... I think the real question would be where did you just come from?"
...Sho's grin contorted into a frown. He gave Kiwi an ominous glare, before slowly striding towards her, gripping something at his waist and getting closer, until there was only about a foot between them. And suddenly, he jerked the thing in his hand to his mouth.
"I'm from Shibuya, you question-filled quadratic!" Sho yells into the megaphone he has gripped in his hand, his voice sounding loud and clear through the device - many nearby ended up covering their ears to block out the sudden sound, while Sho, apparently immune to - or in love with - the sound of his own voice, staches the megaphone back at the compartment for it on his waist and finally backs up and gives everyone on the crowd a little bit of space. "Now then!" He declares, before throwing up his megaphone to his mouth again, this time speaking in a slightly calmer - but still obnoxiously loud - voice. "Where is Shibuya from here, you 000s?!" Evidently, he hadn't given much notice or really bothered to care about anyone in the audience. While the girl who had so far been the only one to give him an honest response was a bit interesting, he had places to go and things to do. Like train, or crunching a few numbers to figure out how to get stronger, and more quickly.

Yes even Kiwi covered her ears being right in front of the blast from the mega. Her hands remained covering her ears and all the sass was about to unfold. "Quadratic?! Oooh boy, let me tell you what right now you are certainly the square because you don't come from A-ROUND Here. Now I don't quite know exactly where Shibuya would be, just the same as I am not sure exactly where you just fell from."
She looked at him up and down and realized there was nothing alien about this dude, except he'd almost be cute if he was not so loud. "If you need help I think we have a way to help you back at my Papa's Garage. You know maps and GPS and stuff..."

Sho response was a chuckle at Kiwi's joke. Was it Sho-caliber? Certainly not, but it was an effort, and something that Sho appreciated. He folds his arms and gives her a dashing little smile - or at least, he hoped it was dashing. In reality, he looked a bit more like a lunatic than anything. " See? She gets it! Why can't get the rest of you get a grasp of this?! Take some math classes!" Sho remarks, giving discontented glares to everyone around him. He gives a sigh. " Social interaction is garbage! I didn't need to see any of you except for the green-haired geometric gamma. You're all zetta boring!" Sho declares, before turning his attention back to the green-haired girl. Sho nods at the prospect of using a GPS. That sounded kind of reasonable, he supposed - maybe he should start packing one of those, or a phone, or something before setting off every time. Maybe it would avert situations like this entirely. Maybe. Sho jerks around and pulls out his megaphone one last time, aiming it away from Kiwi's direction. " Sho out! Thanks for nothing, you iterated sons of digits!" He declares, before strapping his megaphone to his waist with a sense of finality and turning back to the girl. " Alrighty, lead the way! Name's Sho Minamimoto, by the way - martial artist extraordinaire! ...In the making. It's all a factor of time, though." ▲ No comment.

Okay so she moved her hands from her ears to around her face maybe hiding her identity from the staring public. She was quite embarrassed about him drawing attention, her cheeks flushed as she made a deep exhale. Thank goodness he finally put the megaphone away. She nervously patted her worn out punk band shirt then we get the official introduction. Though she remembered the paper list in her hands.
She decided to stick it in her overall back pocket and will get to it tomorrow. Instantly she put on her best customer service smile out of sheer habit. "I'm Kiwi, working mechanic of the Speeding Seeds Garage." She stuck her hands in her deep side pockets and turned on her heals and headed in the direction of home. "Sho Monamoto, if anything you know how to put on a Show, How did you fall from the sky?" Then she thought about a funny. "Did it hurt when you feel from heaven?" She could not help but laugh at her own words.

" Kiwi, huh? I'll be sure to keep that in mind." Sho idly remarked. He hadn't heard of a 'Speeding Seeds Garage,' but then again, it could either be a local business or Sho just wasn't paying attention. He gave a mental shrug - he could check it out later. For now, getting back to Shibuya from... wherever here was could be. That being said, he wasn't too sure Kiwi was being sincere - he knew a Customer Service smile when he saw one. Which was quite frequent, given that it was a look he often received when fuming and spouting math terms at any restaurant or something. He frowns and dramatically turns his head away from Kiwi at her next statement. " It's Minamimoto. Get it right." He calmly states, evidently a tad calmer given that he was no longer the center of attention. As for the question about flight... Sho's speed forward remained constant, but he began to levitate off of the ground, his feet floating up to where his waist had been earlier. " It's quite simple, actually - it's a matter of controlling your Ki and solving for the amount of Ki needed to keep your body afloat, and then forcing it under your body. Increasing variable p increases output s - practice makes perfect." Sho seemed quite excited to explain his little discovery - someting like an excited puppy. " As for falling from heaven... Please. I maybe declined from the stratosphere at worst. Although, given a factor of time and practice, I'll probably be able to ascend to Heaven! ...And then fall from it." Sho explained, clearly not quite catching onto the joke. Maybe he's a bit of a dunderhead... ▲ No comment.

She watched him hover until he got up to wear he would be and her flags went up again. Some kind of stuff she was all about listening to, supernatural things happened all the time. Her face lit up but the idea seemed too whimsical to fit together well. Even better the way he spoke about it there was some logic she understood with it.
Then her joke flew right over his head... bringing him back down in her mind of not the brightest people person. Smart on the numbers and formulas, not so much with reading people and social parts. Dunderhead noted.
"Alright Sho Boat," She might use this as his nickname from now on. She really hoped he liked it, she has a fun habit of making her own names for things. "So were you using your Ki and variables did you come from Shibuya or were trying to travel there?"

Sho let out a scoff in response to Kiwi's nickname. " Sho Boat... I'll show you a-" He began muttering under his breath, but he was cut off by Kiwi's question. " From Shibuya. I live there with my old man, Ken Doi. He was a martial artist in his prime, and even though he says I've long surpassed him..." Sho looks away from Kiwi, suddenly seeming very irritated. " I'm still way weaker than him. I can tell by the way he's still able to criticize my technique." He sighs and continues his belligerent mumbling under his breath. " Hectopascal... I'm gonna be so much better than you... I'll be the best martial artist ever." Clearly, some unresolved dramatic tension there that would be easy to pick up on. Sho was like an open book. Sho would suddenly dart his head up, and turn his attention to Kiwi. " So, a mechanic, huh? How'd a radian like you end up in that job? What's your deal?" Sho questioned, attempting to get scrutiny off of himself. " And where is your house at?! We're walking so zetta slow! This is cutting into my recreation time." He began griping, his earlier enthusiasm beginning to return after a brief stunt. Sho didn't really know what to make of Kiwi. She was nice enough, if a bit curious. If nothing else, talking to her was a good way to pass the time since Sho had nothing better to do. He wasn't exactly a talker and was running out of things. That's the breaks when you've been a social outcast for constant screaming and math your entire life. ▲ No comment.

She could not help but find his loud mouth amusing now. But before she snickered she noticed the bitterness towards his Father and decided to offer some advice.
"You will get there... Someone like you looks like he works hard to remain in the lights. I can already tell sharing it doesn't seem like it would suit you." She would now answer his questions about her.
"Family Business, My full name is Kiwi Seeds, Mama and Papa are Persimmon and Kumquat Seeds, we have a crew that works on all sorts of motors and stuff. It is just around the corner here." Literally they turned a corner and There it was the next building over just beyond a decent sized parking lot. A huge Neon sign rested as decoration for the good sized space ship resting on the roof of the garage.

Sho didn't respond to Kiwi's statement about him getting there. He wasn't really sure how to. On one hand, it was nice to have her sympathies on the matter - lord knows, it managed to shut him up for a brief minute - but on the other hand, what do you say to that? Sho's response was only a mumbled 'Thanks' before Kiwi flew into her history. It didn't last long - right around the corner was the shop that Kiwi had spoken so highly of, and while it didn't quite compare to some of the stores in Shibuya, not really a fair comparison, Sho had to admit that he was still quite impressed. It seemed like a very quaint place, for lack of a better word. Sho quietly gazed over the shop, before taking note of something - it looked kind of like a ship. His curiosity piqued, Sho darted over through the air and proceeded to circle around it, taking in the sights. " Hey, now, this hunk of metal is zetta sexy! Where'd you find this tetrahedral?" He questioned, having temporarily forgotten about why he was here. His random bursts of energy could be compared to something like an energetic puppy. ▲ No comment.

Good think he spoke some english there were some words he used that really flew over her head from time to time. but they'd near the place and she'd see him get excited and proudly place her hands on her hips.
"That was Papa's ship. He is an Alien and I am half... He just kind of landed here and never left. It doesn't work very well now I don't have the tech to fix the worn out power apples. So it is just my bedroom and workshop!" She threw her arms up excitedly jazzing a "Ta-Daa" moment.

Sho rubbed his chin in a somewhat mystified manner. Suddenly, his head jerks back. " An inverse matrix?!" Sho, questions, suddenly darting over to in front of Kiwi, getting obnoxiously close as he seemed to give her a second scan over before hovering back. " What the pascal? You don't seem like an alien. No tail or anything like on the Saiyans. What are you?" He quickly questioned the girl for no reason other than complete curiosity. Suddenly, his interest would flip back to the ship and he would float around it. " So, an alien ship, huh? That's zetta interesting! How do you figure it works? What's the amplitude?" Sho continued his barrage of questions, his voice raising a bit moe as he got more interested. Sho wasn't really sure how to react to Kiwi being an alien, but, upon review, he figured out that he didn't really care, either. It was just some odd detail, an extra variable in his victory equation. The ship, on the other hand? That was something worth noting. It wasn't every day that Sho stumbled across an alien ship - and especially one like this. It was unique to him, and that online meant it captivated his interests. Even as a worn down hunk of scrap metal, it did strike Sho as a thing of beauty. ▲ No comment.

She backed up half a step as he flew close like a bee buzzing a flower. "Papa calls himself a Truffle, A highly advanced technology race... Aliens took over his home planet and stuff."
Goodness he was giddy all of the sudden and for sure he was not an Alien himself. Disappointed Kiwi but that was okay they seemed to have found something in common finally. "I told you the Power apples..." She used her own words again she'd used the apple core as a pun. "Ah... Power cores they are old and not of this world I am not sure what makes them up or have anything to connect to them."

Sho scratched his chin, lost in thought. As much as he would love to help out with it, he just didn't really have the power cores or the necessarily ability to get them, either. As such, he was forced to drop the topic, disappointing as it was. A hunk of metal like this darting through space would be zetta sexy.Sho found himself shaking his head and looking around. " ...Uh, why were we here again?" He pondered the thought for a few moments, before suddenly an idea seemed to jolt into his head. " Oh, right, the GPS! Where is it? Somewhere in your Dad's garage? Do I get to meet the parent and similar functions?" Sho questioned, once again invading Kiwi's space to lean in a bit uncomfortably close. A dunderhead and completely lacking in any social know-how? ▲ Ummm... Where to go from here?
