"The desire would be meaningless to follow however if you chose to act upon it in impulse. There are Namekian Warriors who do just that, however there are those that must remain in case of crisis. Those deemed best suited for such an endeavor are those that go."
But to just up and leave at any time was selfish and reckless. Part of being in a functional society was learning restraint and understanding that your own desires must be put aside for the greater good. And when there are disagreements over what the greater good is, one must defer to the Elder. For their Wisdom is ancient and experience vast.

It was almost impossible for Wasabi to wrap his head around. Operating under the whims of the many, it was like they had no free will. Where was their individuality? How fulfilling could their lives be without the ability to follow their own ambitions. It was like they were mentally enslaved to . . . themselves? How could anyone be happy living like that; but despite that, they were. Overwhelmingly so.
He rubbed his face completely at a loss for words, offering only a, "Hmm." His curiosity was reaching it's peak, and it was making him restless. With a grunt, he did a kip up back to his feet, turning to Limax. "Can you stand?" He'd offer out his hand almost impatiently. "Up, up. If you can't walk I'll drop you off at your village. I want to see your culture for myself, also I'm not gonna find any clues sitting here."

It took some effort but he was able to stand. His whole body ached, and he felt drained. But his actual injuries were not terribly serious. Though he supposed that was more due to the other fighter not trying to kill him rather than his own fighting prowess.
"What do you hope to actually find?"

"Hmm." Wasabi paused in thought, a sudden look of confusion on his face. Why did he want to go there? Due to past experiences he tended to avoid traveling companions, no matter how brief; never really having someone to question the motives or reasons behind his actions. The truth was, not even Wasabi knew the reasoning's behind some of his actions; other than the search for his origin. It was just a feeling he got. An urge of wanderlust, possible adventure, excitement and even anxiety, that constantly kept him moving.
It was a feeling he had difficulty describing in words other than, 'I felt like it'. The honest truth was, he wasn't hoping or expecting to find anything. So he shrugged, grinned and proffered a shoulder for Limax to lean on (though he doubted the Namekian would accept it). "I'll let you know when I find it." With a tilt of his head, he'd motion for Limax to -- "Lead the way."

He was right that Limax wouldn't take the shoulder, but he didn't feel as reluctant to lead him to the nearest settlement. He didn't believe that Wasabi constituted a real threat anymore, despite how their interaction had begun. He'd shown compassion, if reckless behavior. He was confident that if things escalated out of hand again Limax and others could keep the peace.
"I hope you find what it is you are looking for."
Perhaps he would be able to find others of his kind at the tournament that was scheduled. Warriors from across the galaxy were all supposed to attend. It would be his best chance of finding his answers on Namek at least.

Wasabi stayed quiet for the duration of their walk, preferring to let Limax lead the way as he himself looked out on the Namekian landscape. The blue green grass, frustratingly gave way to more blue green grass as they'd continue their trek. The second Namekian sun blazing up above; Wasabi still hadn't grown accustomed to the sudden disappearance of night time and chuckled at the thought of explaining another foreign concept to Limax. As time would go on, Wasabi found himself looking within himself as much as he did looking out. So far in his 'quest' he'd managed to strand himself on an alien planet and gotten into a fight. He was still lacking in any real clues or information towards his people. But -- despite this fact, he found himself smiling nonetheless. He'd made a friend -- or at least something resembling a friend, and was possibly on the way towards some real answers.
After some time they'd arrive at the village. Wasabi would find himself cresting over what he'd assumed was another identical hill that would give way to more identical plains. He was surprised to see buildings in the distance. At the same time anyone from the village looking toward the horizon would be able to see them as they approached; heading for the village center.

He was comfortable with the silence, it allowed him time to think and process everything that had happened. Just what this person was, no. That didn't really matter. The what was less important than the who. Who he was, really. And what he'd do if he couldn't find what he was looking for. Or what he'd do when he did find what he was looking for.
As best as he could tell Wasabi didn't have any of the answers to Limax's questions. In fact he seemed to let his own questions define him rather than any answers. A man defined by what he does not know. It was a potentially dangerous, and absolutely unpredictable recipe. It made Limax nervous.
"If your answers lay anywhere in Namek they will be near the Tournament Grounds. That I can assure you."
Though he could not know if they did exist on Namek. But short of summoning the Dragon, he could think of no other place to find what he sought.

Children ran chasing each other, families enjoyed the sun, the near by lake and each others company. This was a farming village, and there were quite a bit of open farmland growing odd vegetables and bush fruits. People were tending the plants, laughing and joking. Unlike other Namekian villages that have both male and female Namekians, or inter race couplings of Namekian and Human's who have joined society on Namek.
No this one was an older, more traditional village. When they saw Limax they waved, when they saw the stranger with him, they began gathering their things, and staring at Wasabi. An outsider to such an out of the way part of Namek was rare. They did see outsiders they were just in vehicles or scheduled for pick up of the produce.

The gazes of the natives as he walked into the village, bored into him as his nerves got the better of him. He didn't do well in large crowds. Not at all. His breathing hitched, and his heart started to hammer in his chest as he instinctively stood behind Limax like a protective barrier from their stares.
Their reactions were similar to the ones back on Earth. Wasabi couldn't tell if the looks were of genuine curiosity or undisguised mistrust; and his turbulent mind was doing little to rationalize the situation. Looking down, he noticed his hands shaking; closing one hand over the other, he brought them up towards his chest to still them. With a shaky glance to his left and right, he managed a meek, "Uh . . . Hi." his voice cracking at the end. He'd nudge Limax in the back with his elbow.
"Wh-Who do I talk to?"

Limax couldn't help but chuckle at Wasabi's reaction. It was unexpected, much like everything else about the little one. The reaction of his village was less surprising. He'd wave back at the others, pleased to see them as always. Home always had a comforting feeling about it, no matter what else happened he would always love this village. Of that he was sure of.
"The little one is with me. I do not believe he means harm." Limax would say in Namekian to the villagers.
"Whoever you'd like to. We are a simple village, but their hearts are good. They will help if they can." Though the odds of that were slim. Aliens were a rare sight here. "Just, don't get your hopes up too high." It was a gentle warning, hopefully gentle enough to take the edge off any disappointment he had when he didn't find answers here.
