"Maybe. Maybe not."
She couldn't even admit it to herself for the longest time—but she wasn't gonna say that. She understood him blaming Vo... He did have a hand in it, purposeful or not, and the only thing that had stopped her from throttling the Guardian was the reverence her race bestowed upon them.
However...Okara's words drew an immediate and bristling reaction from her. Would loooove to share with her? But trusted her too much so obviously he didn't trust her at all .
"You prick! I didn't somehow conspire to kill you, nor did I, so you can take your "I trusted you too much" crap and shove it back up your prickly, proud, ass!"
She would move to blow past him to head for her bridge. Hers, damnit. From there she would check to make sure things were in proper working order, her taps against the keys brisk. Irritated.

Okara turned back, eyebrows raising and blinking at her outburst. What did he say? Then, she repeated it.
Oh.
Fuck.
He was blasted backward by her blowing by him, his back slamming into the wall of the ship and causing it to groan. He let out a grunt before scowling and clenching his fists. His instinct was to rush after her, grab her by that tight, perky ass the tail and hurl her back. But truth be told, him saying that was definitely his bad. He hadn't meant it like that in any way, shape or form. He just...fucked up, in how he said it. He followed after her slowly, with a sigh, coming into the pilots station and leaning against the wall at the opening.
"Aisuko."
He folded his arms.
"Sorry- I really didn't mean it that way. I meant...I meant that rather than focus on him, who he was, I just assumed you guys knew each other somehow or were friends. By extension, I allowed my trust of you to be placed onto him and that was my mistake. I should have been more on guard, regardless of my opinion of your relationship with him. Because I wasn't ready or anticipating violence, I was slaughtered like a fool."
He would put a hand behind his head and grin.
"You sure kicked his ass though when I died, huh? Who'da thought you'd get so angry at the death of a lowly ape, eh?"
He was teasing her kindly, but trying to apologize at the same time.

Some part of her expected a grab. A yell and insult back, at the very least; so either she was stronger than he was or what he'd said about his demeanour, before, was actually true. Still, it didn't stop her irritation or her simmering anger. When Okara came to the bridge he'd see the frosty Ice-Jin, her tail draped over the back of her chair and hanging down.
But not limply, oh no.
It was undulating, quickly, a visual testament to the fact what he'd said had ticked her off. She grunted unintelligibly as he said her name, about to tell him to take his insults and get the heck away from her--
But instead of interrupting him she let him speak. By the time he said his first bit, her tail had slowed to a gentle sway - if anything letting him know she was listening in earnest - but her verbal acceptance of his apology was squashed at his jest. Her shoulders tensed.
"Shut up. Pretty sure you would have went apeshit if it was me he took out, first." Her chin lifted and she didn't look back. Stupid Okara.

"Actually..."
He moved forward a little, her calm tail causing his nerves to ease a little.
"I had to fight him in the afterlife. I erased his soul....or something like that- because I was told he tortured and killed you too. So...I suppose I can't argue with you."
He would move into the seat next to hers, not looking at her despite the rather....casual discussion of them caring about each other. He would copilot, clearing his throat in an attempt to change the subject so that neither of them got so embarrassed they started blowing shit up.
"I'm going to find the Supreme Kai. Would you....like to come with me?"

Her tail twitched a little - testily - as she heard him move forward, but otherwise she didn't move to stop him nor further reprimand him. She didn't respond to the things he said, simply because she didn't want to continue down that path.
Instead she did the last preparation checks and communicated her intent to launch to the control tower.
A moment after he spoke and asked her...she finally glanced over, curious and even hesitant.
She wanted to be done with that mess.
"...what for..?"

He responded simply.
"I trained with the supreme Kai for a very short period, and obtained things I always dreamed. Whatever is going on with Vo, the Guardians, these worlds....I'm going to need to be stronger to protect them. And...to protect you. Not because you're incapable, but because I will feel better knowing I'm able to."
He would assist in pushing a few prep buttons before continuing, smirking a little at his next statement.
"Plus....if you intend to complete your goals, you'll need to be stronger than me, right?"

Trained with the Supreme Kai..? The? Aisuko's jaw worked a little before she seemed to settle back into repose, her appearance unruffled as he supplied the explanation on what he meant by protecting her...
...and slowly arched a brow.
"My goals..?"
Did he find out about everything else? Or did he just mean about...her House, specifically?

He smirked, finally leaning back and turning to look over at her.
"Yes. Whatever they happen to be. You wouldn't have come to Earth with your brother, helped the Guardian, gotten so much stronger.....unless you had plans for that strength."
He was just putting two and two together.

"My brother never came to Earth. I went there, alone."
She glanced to the side at him, then clicked her fingertips against a few last buttons before they would start to head up, off Namek!

His brow furrowed.
"I thought you said you were both there....or maybe he was coming. Whatever- though now that we are on the topic, what exactly DO you want?"
She helped him, she helped the Guardian, his parents....there must be some sort of selfish motive in there, right?

"No. But he's on Namek. Or right nearby."
So, vamoosing is what they were doing!
"...reclaiming my House's status on Arkosia."
That...that was simple yet a decent explanation, yes? Right? She thought so. She didn't need to mention taking over planets and everything else.

He cocked an eyebrow.
"How? By doing the same thing you do every night, pinky? Trying to take over the world?"
He laughed- she probably wouldn't get the reference of Pinky and the Brain, but it was still hilarious to him. He would press another button or two.
"And how is your brother going to react to a Saiyan on your ship? Will it be my turn to play the slave?"

She was silent at that--he could take it as confused, or, however he would like, but she wasn't about to dignify it with an actual answer.
"Huh?"
...
Her expression darkened, though.
"Well, we're getting out of here so I don't have that possibility of him finding out happen."

"And what will we tell our children about their Uncle?"
He grinned again, his tail flicking and darting about. He was, despite her ability to ignore him, continuing to fuck with her. He shifted in his seat, turning to look at her fully.
"You still intend on pretending, don't you?"
He stared at her, hard, intent to keep staring until she acknowledged him and his words.

The more Okara stared, the more he'd notice how tense she was despite her relaxed posture. She was keeping an eye and steady hand on her ship, pushing her as fast as she could to break free without having her exit draw attention.
And she wouldn't be relaxing for a while, until she felt she was far enough away from Namek.
"I don't know how to deal with it right now. Stop cramming it down my throat and let me just be, for like...I don't know. A couple hours. Something."
The last word sounded more like a please than a something.
"...please."
