He jolted, eyes opening. He came up in a crouch, spinning to Vo. He blinked rapidly- the hell happened. He threw out a blast, there was smoke and then....nothing. He looked up at Vo. Dude....was definitely powerful. Worthy of defending earth. Egotistical as it was, Okara thought himself the strongest fighter on Earth so far but....this guy put him to shame. He would go to a knee.
"You are....definitely the superior warrior. I would be honored if you would allow me to train under you, Guardian."
Oh yeah. The moment he was waiting for.

This was a surprise. He expected the battle reaction, but the guy had knowledge about the Guardians. Vo did not know this and it caught him a bit off. However he was being officially requested it would seem, however Lang had questions.
"You know of the Guardians?"

He shook his head.
"No. You called yourself protector of this Earth. Guardian is just...another word I gave you for it."
Still, he tucked away this knowledge. There was more than one of people like him. Not good. He had to get stronger, and very quickly.

Lang just about chuckled about that one, however he let it go.
"Sure. I'll train you. However I do need answers on the female Iceling you spent just about a day and a half with."

Okara winced. He...could almost tell this was coming. He stood.
"You are strong, and I want to be trained by you. But I can't...I won't tell you anything about her. Ask me anything else but...her life and her business is not mine to share."
And he valued his friends deeply, especially when there was only one.

Lang would turn to the side, looking at his damaged jacket. Staying silent for a time, if only to ponder things... Arkosians were a dangerous sort to be sure... Their Guardian wasn't of the best of them either, but he'd have to hope they policed themselves well enough.
"Very well. Your loyalty is noted. Collect some things and I'll show you where to come for training, and we will update your armor a bit."

He nodded and took to the sky, blasting off back toward home. He had a very quick, rushed conversation with his mom, informing her she found someone stronger than anyone he'd ever seen, even her, and that he was a Guardian of Earth willing to train him. He packed clothes, and his gear, and was back to Vo in less than thirty minutes. He landed roughly, dropping the bag and slamming a fist into his open palm. He bowed.
"Guardian, Sir. I'm ready."
This...was going to be intense.

Go scratched his right cheek a bit. He couldn't be much older than this guy. However he returned the gesture and took to the sky heading straight for his look out going rather high.
"You can just call me Lang. No need to be overly formal for now."
Lang wondered if he would or not, however he wouldn't have much time to ponder that. The lookout would come into view a huge platform with plants to offset the thin air. A few small buildings and a main hall. Go would land and look around.
"Alright Okara. This is where your training will be. Oh before I forget."
Lang would shoot a finger beam at Okara hitting his armor that would glow gold for a second then Okara would feel tremendous weight.
"You will use this unless absolutely necessary."

Okara nodded, and would follow without question. He would probably still include "Guardian" before the Lang, as he was someone who generally had a respectful nature. Still, when he landed on the massive tower like structure, he couldn't help but question two things- how anyone would want to live way up here, away from civilization, and how he hadn't noticed this structure before. Not to say anything for who built it. As Jang turned back and shot him, he stumbled back a a step or two, then collapsed to a knee from the wait. He bared his teeth and stood with a grunt.
"You...expect me to fight in this?"
He could barely move, let alone fight.

Lang looked at Okara very seriously in silence at his question. There wasn't even flinching or blinking in Vo's stare as he finally turned his body to fully face him.
"How do you expect to help save your father if you can't even fight under the weight of your home planet's gravity?"
Lang decided the drive of this training would be making Okara strong enough to survive in open conflict on planet Vegeta.

Okara blinked. He forgot this being could....almost see into your head. He just...knew so much. He looked down at the gear, and clenched his fists. This wouldn't be like training with him mom. She had taken it easy on him. Made sure that he grew strong but not harsh. Vo Jang would be destructive. Okara felt like he needed that. He nodded, staring forward, pulling a little more power out and keeping it constant to get his body used to the weight. He would look up at the Guardian.
"You are right. I won't question it, or you, further. Not in my training, anyway. I am...proud to feel the weight of my home world."
And so he was.

Vo Lang looked over the now hardened resolve of Okara. Good he would need it for his training especially if he were to storm Vegeta with his mother.
"Your soul seems pure... Your intentions as well. However, your actions will have to be slightly more life or death than you are used to."
Vo would flex out his energy closing his eyes as the strain on his body was obvious. Sweat beading down his form as a low rumble finally escaped his throat. First an arm ripped through his shirt out his back, then another, followed by a torso and two legs. This happened three more times and Vo was left breathing heavy. Now there were four Vo Lang, Guardians of the Earth standing about. Stretching and getting ready for some good battle.
"So... Our training will be... Life or death. Few... You will start with one opponent for today. You will fight with the intention of doing severe harm to each other. Once you win, you will move to two enemies. Beat them and you will fight three. Until you can beat all four of me this is how we will train."

It felt like a cold bucket of water had been dumped over him as he watched Jang tear himself in two. And three. Okara's eyes shifted between the new warriors. Life or death. Fear crept up his stomach and rested in his chest. He was just a kid- seventeen, not old enough to die. Not even close. He almost fled- this wasn't what he signed up for. He took a step back...but then...this little thing in the back of his head, nothing but a speck, tickled him. Then it grew like a giant, overwhelming his fear and drowning it. Burying it in an ocean of both rage and battle lust. That was his Saiyan blood. His mouth twitched upward into a grin. He hurled his bag toward the building, letting it slide along the ground and smack into the building to get it out of the way. His eyes were wide- accepting of death. "I will grow strong, and make my father proud. I will crush you!" He fists slammed down to his sides as his hair lifted with the rapid, violent thrust upward of his power. A light purple aura swirled around his form rapidly. His teeth were clenched, and a vein bulged on his forehead. He slid his right leg back, bending them. His left arm came up, hand open, his right arm back in a fist. His stance was probably familiar, but Okara didn't think about it. He couldn't fight power to power like he had with Vo the first time, or with Aisu. He had to be more technical...to use the arts his father, through video lessons, had taught him and what he could pick up on earth. He was ready to begin. PL: 1500 Stance:

The Lang that had been chosen as the singular stepped out and kicked off all his weighted clothing. Boots and gloves, since the jacket was destroyed. And an emerald green ki energy would erupt from every curve of muscle on Lang's body before it engulfed him in the intense fire of his soul. At full power he'd burst forward right before striking range would flare his aura out in a bright glow to try and force Okara's vision to adjust before swiftly darting to the side causing an after image to fade in that direction. Going left the image would evaporate before it became clear Lang had actually gone right and was now aiming a slobber knocking left hook for Okara's cheek.
The other's went off to go about their business.

Okay. This guy was a lot stronger than him. There was no reason to believe this single man wasn't too. So when he burst at Okara, the young Blaze was ready. The man vanished, however, leaving a faded version of himself. Okara waisted no time. He threw his claw hand down and fired a Ki blast at his feet, cracking the stone and shattering dirt up around him as Lang appeared on his right.
Okara crouched low, the fist of his enemy sifting into his hair. He let out a low, rumbling scream as he aimed a right leg sweep for Lang's legs, throwing another Ki blast out at the same time for Langs chest.
This wouldn't end well for him, but he was gonna put up far more of a fight this time.
