Curious. What was this strange food? She'd just arrived not long ago, and had yet to...sample any food. She drifted closer, hovering around and bending over, slightly, to practically helicopter around the food, sniffing slightly.
"Huh. What are all these things. I've never been here before." Her eyes shifted and flickered, her tail moving as if to touch - okay, poke - something before it retracted. Don't touch the food unless she wanted to eat it, after all.
"Your mom. You said you came here when you were a baby. She from Vegeta, too?"

He would smile, and realize only then that she had never eaten before. Not on Earth, anyway.
"Well...this is chicken. It's an animal you catch and cook for food. Potatoes are something that grows in the ground, you can cut them up or mash them or cook them whole. Salad is a vegetable, sort of like grass but good to eat. Here. Try some of this stuffing first. It's my favorite."
He would lightly hold some up for her to try out before he answered her question.
"Yes. My mom is from Vegeta, as is my father. I'm a pure blood Saiyan, as they call us."
He knew it- girl was FAR more curious than cats.

Her feet slowly touched down onto the grass. Sniff. It smelled interesting. And the explanations were, too. Grass that was good to eat? Stuffing?
She paused a moment, then shrugged, and reached out to take some and try it.
"...ah." she murmured after tasting. Her tail swivelled and curved back, almost on itself, before she glanced at the rest of the food. She would try these other types, but likely wouldn't eat too much. Who knew if it would kill her, or her stomach.

He would cross his legs, reaching down and undoing the clasps on his armor. He'd take off his chest-plate, setting it off to the side and revealing his bare, lightly tanned skin. He shuffled out of his leg armor as well, resting with a sigh in his boxers. Then he would lean forward and continue to chow down! He would look up at her, a chicken leg in one hand, a half eaten tomato in the other.
"Mmf...Sho...where arg you frogm?"
Yeah, eating with the mouth full. Obviously not used to friends.

Instead of continuing to sample, Aisuko paused to watch the Saiyan strip. How curious. Yet he left a layer on.
"...Arkosia." Her brow furrowed just slightly, as though she were trying to puzzle something out. "Is it not just...easier to not cover your entire body with all that?"
She didn't understand it.

He blinked, swallowing before opening his mouth to answer. Then he paused, letting out a little hum. He took in her form for the first time- she seemed entirely naked yet...not showing anything. An interesting species. He would clear his throat, grabbing the bottle of cranberry juice and taking a little drink.
"Well, my gear is special. It weighs a ton, which helps me to train and get stronger. In order to swim, like I plan, I'd need to take it off. I'd also need to wear it, for aforementioned training. Also, it fits tight, and i plan on bulging my belly with grub. There is another purpose for it though."
He set the bottle down.
"See, on our planet, we can't make our...ah, parts go away like you seem to be able to. I don't know if you even have the parts needed, but anyway...when our people want to reproduce, we use these parts of our bodies that can be seen if we don't wear clothing. Our culture has a law of modesty- of exposure, that makes sure we aren't showing everyone those parts. It's against the law to not wear clothes in public. You...might need to get some while you're here."
He grinned, then dug back into his food, clearly not embarrassed by the topic.

"For training purposes it seems reasonable." There was clearly a 'but', there, and she decided to elaborate. "But how entirely disadvantageous to not be able to protect your own body. How is it wrong to walk around such as I am when nothing is actually 'showing'?"
She glanced down at herself, giving a turn and even craning her neck to look behind herself. She was perfectly 'modest' by her and her species' standards. Nothing showing, nothing able to be abused or otherwise harmed.
She was better evolved, she thought.

He blushed as she spun, checking out her own form. He turned his eyes down, not wanting to look at her in the same fashion; she was checking herself out, it seemed. He would take another bite of mashed potatoes before clearing his throat. He didn't know how to broach the topic of sexuality and sensuality for humans, as he was young and hadn't really been introduced to it much himself.
"It's...more than that. Clothes give people a barrier between flesh and imagination. If you don't wear any, even if nothing is showing, people would find it scandalous. It's just a part of culture- not anything against your people, just how things are. I'm sure there are things on your planet that, culturally, is different than our own. You are proving it now by saying clothes are purposeless for you and your species. Still, as long as your on earth, I would definitely recommend finding some. Actually, my mom might have some that fit you..."
He continued to mow down, eyes on his food.

The icejin was quick to shrug things off. Still, it might not be a bad thing. Certain clothes were marks of status in more formal settings, true. But generally not so covering as these clothes seemed to be.
"Hmm. Why are your parents not here, together?"

Okara would slow his eating process at the next question. He brought his eyes up to hers, watching her for a moment with a little smile. Perhaps he underestimated her curiosity. It seemed she had a thousand questions, all of them tied to others that would be born from the answer. Still, he didn't really mind discussing it with her- it was just a bit of a sore subject.
"He was accused of Treason and sent to prison. My mom fled and took asylum here. Earth agreed to grant it despite the threat of war."
He took another bite of chicken before asking a question of his own.
"What about you? Any parents here with you or did you come alone?"

Speaking of sore subjects...
"They're dead. They perished in battle, at one another's side, somewhat recently."
Her tone came across as neutral. A statement of fact, simply. Then she quirked her head.
"It seems odd, your situation. But I am not entirely familiar with Saiyans...and treason is no small matter."
So she shrugged and began taking small samples of this food onto her plate.

He swallowed, and set down his food at her statement. He ignored her last, instead coming back to her first statement.
"Woah...hold up. Your parents died? I'm....sorry. Which war was it?"
There were so many...

Aisuko's eyes veered back to the Saiyan and settled with all the weight ice could carry. She watched him a moment and didn't reply, instead finishing placing a few things on her plate. She straightened and moved to sit, cross-legged, her tail curling around the outside of her legs.
"...it doesn't matter, does it? War is war, they're dead. I suppose if you must know, it was an invasion on my home planet. They failed, but, we are not without losses."

His eyebrows furrowed.
"The battle name doesn't matter but the battle itself does. Losing parents....I hate being without my dad, but I know he's alive and I have my mom. Losing both would be devastating. Whether you want it or not, you have my condolences, as a friend and as a fellow earthling."
He would watch her take items, grabbing his own plate.
"I call you a fellow Earthling because I assume you plan to stay here?"

"...I still have my brother."
There were things to be grateful for. She looked at him a moment with his question as to whether she was staying. Her tail undulated against the ground, causing the tip to flip and flop slightly, much like a cat.
"I'm not sure. This is...a break. We're building our House's name again, to show we're worthy of holding it, worthy of improving its standing."
